ENTRY DENIED. All MEETINGS CANCELED -Andrew Strom
I am very sorry to announce to those of you who were planning on attending some of our meetings over the next month that we have been denied entry to the USA and sadly will have to cancel all the meetings.
My whole family were detained for over 6 hours at the US border
yesterday (the USA side), questioned, photographed, fingerprinted
like criminals – and sent back to Canada. We were told we could
not come in to preach to a series of Christian groups like this –
even though their website clearly says we CAN – and I have already
been in TWICE THIS YEAR doing exactly the same thing. They let
me in then – but no more. They even fingerprinted my 15-year-old
daughter. None of us (except our 9 and 11-year olds) can even set
foot in the USA again without going to the US Consulate and getting
special permission. We literally are now in the “criminal” class
according to US Immigration.
All this because we were invited by church groups and Christian
groups across the USA to come preach a series of meetings.
They told me to do that I have to have an “R” visa. (These take
months and months to get – often never). This is not what their
website says. New Zealand is a “visa-waiver” country and Conference
speakers are specifically allowed into the US under those rules. I
asked them, “How then can a foreign preacher who is invited by a
Christian group to the USA ever get in to preach?” They said maybe
that is OK for one or two meetings, but not for a series. So we
cannot preach in churches across the nation – even though that is
exactly what they have let me in to do before. This is the first time
I have ever been denied entry to do that very thing. And now we are
all – very evidently – “criminals”. Never to darken the door again.
My family and I naturally came home from this pretty distraught
and devastated. My daughter was crying in the car. Six hours is a
long time to be detained like that.
But, you know, at the end of the day, God is in control. I felt sure
then and I feel sure now that even though this was so distressing,
God was still speaking to us through it all. I believe He is the one
who is slamming the door shut on America right now – and doing
so in no uncertain terms. We have been praying and many others
have been praying for too long for this to have just been “man’s”
decision. I accept it as the voice of God. America is over for us.
WHERE to FROM HERE?
The most likely thing is a return “Down-Under” to New Zealand and
Australia. We have been away from home now – traveling and
ministering – for 18 months. Perhaps it is time for a return to what
the explorer Pedro Fernandez de Quiros called the “Great South
Land of the Holy Spirit.”
I just want to apologize again to all those who wanted to attend
our upcoming meetings. I am very sorry, my friends. Our family
is still pretty shaken by all of this, so we would certainly appreciate
your prayers at this time.

Well, I got horrible chills when I read your statement that it was God who is slamming the door shut on America right now. So very sorry that this is happening. Makes me very sorrowful for the people in our nation, our children especially. Thank you for your hard work and for your family’s hard work. All the Lord’s blessings to you and your family.
Andrew: Take heart my brother. As you so correctly pointed out, our Lord is in TOTAL control. Oftentimes the plans of men are thwarted because God has His own plans for us and those we minister to. Fortunately, in this age of electronic media, you are able to give your talks and publish them via YouTube or other internet vehicles.
I do know for sure that God has a plan for you in New Zealand and feel it strongly in my spirit that is where you are to go. Continue to trust in our Lord Jesus and to show your love to Him by your undying and unquestioned obedience.

The Word has gone out. Everyone in this country who wants to submit to the Lord has probably already done so.

America’s day is over. She’s kicked God out of every public place, murders babies, and parades Sodomites in our faces and even in our elementary schools. So why should this be a surprise?

Who is going to be next? The country that has over the years sent many missionaries out to spread the gospel as now refused “fresh manna” from coming in to fall on its own soil. But, this same country will pay (on the taxpayers dime) an Imam to fly around to spread the “peaceful” news of Islam. Andrew, will be praying for you and your family – keep a forward motion in all that you do for the Lord. I have a statement to make in regards to the natural side of things. American Christians that have known Andrew and his ministry should call their representatives (whomever they be) and find out why He (Andrew) and his family could not enter in the US. Stay on this until they give an answer. Of course, I am not talking about being unkind but I am talking about knowing the truth. Could you imagine if this scenario was a local Imam coming over to do a series of “talks” and he was denied by the US. It would be on the nightly news of how the big bad US treated him. Wow, that must have been traumatising for you and your family Andrew. I also believe God is protecting you. We must be in the centre of Gods will , or we could be in grave danger in these times. I would love for you to go to the u.k. but I believe in taking counsel and getting confirmations of where you and family are to be . So sad, but so true today. Christianity is discriminated against openly and freely, with no consequences. Just don’t speak against cult religions, or you are in trouble. North America does not want to hear God’s truth, except for the few people who cry out for His deliverence. God is judging, and will judge such nations. Keep preaching God’s word brother. I went to the meeting in Spanaway, a 90 minute trip rather than the overnighter required to be in Abottsford, only to hear the disappointing news. Jeri and Chris faithfully shared their compelling testimony. There is a reason for these things and we trust that the Lord knows what he is doing.

There is tremendous spiritual battle over America today. Satan is trying to take this great country out. But we who are God’s are being asked by God to move up to another supernatural level and take the battle to the gate and win it there by the power of the Living Lord, not our natural strength. On the contrary see this as a blessing. Let’s face the facts once you start coming regularly to America on a visa waiver or visitors visa and you are earning income , you are violating the rules of such visa or priviledge. One is not supposed to be engaged in revenue generating itinerary . The fact that you were in the USA earlier and you are back again ‘preaching’ can make the border patrol officer suspicius especially if you came with your entire family , you might be seen as even ‘immigrating’ to the USA.
Every ‘alien’ entering the USA is asked to place their hands on finger print scanners no exceptions unless you are the President or Prime Minister of your country.
How do you go forward? Ask a Church to sponsor you for R1 visa , it make take a year to get it but it will save you headaches, you can legally earn honorarium , have US Drivers License and Social Security number . After 3 years you can apply for permanent residence (green card), 5 years after your greencard you can apply for US Citizenship.
No the Lord is not shutting the doors to America , but asking you to apply for R1 and you can come here unhindered and continue your work. This is just temporary.

Beyond that – this denial of you coming into this nation could actually be a form of protection for you. Hope that is not the case for that does not bode well for America and the scant opening we have for a genuine revival.

Peace to you brother and your family. Consider it pure Joy when we are placed in trials because this is what prepares us for what is ahead.
God is teaching the remnant to walk in the Spirit. Sometimes we allow ourselves to get so busy that we inadvertently put our families in danger because we miss the signs.
We have to hear the voice of God so clearly now that we become obedient to his call. One fellow brother while in “Africa” awhile ago showed how imperative this lesson is. The “holy Spirit” ordered him to the side of the road with his car. If he hadn’t of been obedient and “listening” the car would have exploded in a bomb just a few miles a head. ” Are we willing to give up everything”?including position, comfort and rights? ” Do we clearly hear God’s voice”? This is not a philosophical debate on scripture it is a matter of life and death. Sometimes we need to go under his wing for awhile and learn these lessons. The Remnant is being separated and taught these gifting’s. God is raising the “‘Remnant” up and he is having each walking in all of the “gifts of the spirit”. We are also soon going to be placed together in the “body” in our proper positions. We will function as a whole.This has to happen before revival hits. After all what” army” goes into battle without there proper “weapons and plan’s”. God’s ways are much more amazing and the end result is “King Jesus”.We are “praying be encouraged” . We live in an exciting time.

God might very well be shutting the door for travel or that mode of speaking. Would you not say that this forum Speaks to America. Has a door of utterance been opened to you? In America? Most assuredly, this is the beginning of the end. I can just imagine the shock and horror you and your family experienced… to be fingerprinted!! We Canadians used to be able to cross the border with a wave… no more. The illusion that America is the land of the free has been shattered.

Andrew my Brother! I praise God that you were not allowed to come into the USA. That is a confirmation that God’s Judgment is about to fall upon nation so greatly blessed by Him and now has completely turned its back on the Most High, and gone after other gods. The word says that ALL nations will come against Jerusalem in the last days, so the US has to be shaken down from being a world power and intervening in God’s salvation of Israel. This tells me that the end is very near, that our Lord is soon coming to establish His Kingdom. In these last days we are not to look for a Green Light in spreading the Gospel, we have already been given that when our Lord said “Go Ye therefore into all the world…” But we get the same Red Light that Paul got in Acts 16 when he was not allowed to go into Bithynia, but then got the vision to go into Macedonia.

I am so very sorry for you and your family to go threw that, please forgive us. It is way past time for God to bring his judgement on America, we have done all we can to reject him and hurt him. I am so sorry for America, He said to humble ourselves and he would forgive us and heal our land. I chose to do that, but most do not. But he does know what is best for us all and our job is to trust him even when we cant see what He is doing. Some years from now i have been told that i will end up in Australia we will most likley meet then. There is still a chance that it could be before that i believe that is up to you.

My heart trembled when I read your statement for it clearly shows the attitude of our nation towards followers of Jesus Christ and foreshadows how believers will be treated on this soil. This is what happens when the majority of American citizens elect a man like Barack Obama as president who claims to be, not only a “Christian”, but a ‘committed Christian’, yet he preaches a false gospel and a false Christ, and who also publicly mocked the Holy Scriptures.
He preaches a ‘collective redemption’ and ‘social justice’, neither of which are found in Holy Scripture or were ever preached by Jesus Christ or his apostles. He supports Gay Rights, and abortion at any stage of pregnancy. He praises and supports Islam, while at the same time belittling Christianity.
He has lied to the American people over and over again. He is, was and always has been a Marxist/Communist, as were his parents and grandparents.
I have been trying for years to get Americans to understand that God not only punishes individuals for their individual unrepentant sins, but He also punishes entire nations for their national sins committed by their elected leaders.
America is getting exactly what they have asked for, and if we do not repent, there is worse yet to come.

I was wondering if possibly there is stricter enforcement of the rule about “serial preaching” for all preachers/ministers irregardless of religion because of concerns about Islam? (they would not want to be seen as ‘discriminatory’ ) Hope you get to the bottom of it, whatever the reasons are..
I too was stunned and saddened by the news. I agree with KC that we should all call/e-mail our representatives, Fox news, Glenn Beck any one who may publicly expose this discrimination against Christians. If we stay silent this discrimination will only grow.
We were hosting the first scheduled meeting last night and of course Andrew had to cancell. We still met and prayed for Andrew and his family. We also took an offering for him and will be sending it to him. May I suggest that if you were planning on attending any of the meetings that you would send a love offering to him now. I believe he has Pay Pal set up on his web site. And even if you weren’t going to attend the meeting please send a generous offering to the extent you were saddend and grieved by this event.

Welcome to the club of the discriminated. In the beginning I also got angry at being denied a Visa, But I agree with Francis Van-Lare, there is a method in their madness. You need to go by their rules. If they have a R1 class of Visa for frequent visitors, you definitely qualify.
Anyway I have decided not to apply for a visa or visit USA in the near future, there are ever so many other countries that I can go to. Their loss is my gain. God always has a plan for us. We need to be thankful rather than be disappointed. And give glory to God in all things.
I’m very sorry for what happened to your family – especially the kids. I am praying that God will take away any residual fear that they have experienced because of this situation, and turn it into resolution to stand for Him, no matter what the cost!
Really, this shouldn’t shock us, though it does. I wonder how you managed to get into Canada so easily??? I’m sure that too will change as we march forward to the rule of the antiChrist.

I have been receiving your emails for about 2 years now and I live in South Africa. Your emails are a blessing and they minster to me profoundly. I am sorry to hear about this incident when you tried to enter the USA and I pray that it was the Lord’s will for you and your family to not enter now. Who knows, maybe there will be another opportunity later on if you can get the R1 visa (see Francis van Lare’s post) one year from now?
Why don’t you ask the Lord about coming to South Africa? :-)

I don’t really think it was “discrimination”. These guys truly felt they were just “doing their job”. But when you look through all the rules trying to find “preachers coming in to preach in several churches” the conclusion you come to for a Visa-waiver person is simply that we come in the “normal” way and we have 3 months in the US to either conduct business, “visit”, speak, or whatever. That is the only category I can find that fits. And it needs no “special” visa. They are clearly tightening up, and I think other preachers will be stopped too.
But I really do see this as the voice of the Lord concerning the USA for us (and the voice of “official USA” concerning me!) I have no intent of fighting it, and I believe we simply need to accept it and move on.
My family is rather traumatized by it, and I think we may have nightmares every time we have to go through ‘Border Control’ into other countries again. Really unpleasant – but oh well!

Andrew, you have been teaching on a really tuff subject, a very important message, not many (if any other than you David Eells and a few other) are teaching this.
I have been sensing, for quite a long time now, that God is calling back his own people, his servants, calling them back to where they came from, (where they where born or lived most of their lives) where they have relatives and families and friends.
Myself I left Finland 1998 end went out on a almost 9 year world around trip with my family, working, following, obeying …
Finally Lord showed and guided us back home to Finland…
I lived 3 years in the caribbean and 6 years in Florida and now last winter almost 1 year in Spain. Now we are back home in Finland where we are born and got relatives.
If God wants you back home in New Zealand
He will close other doors and open only that door for you.
Last winter I tried to stay in Spain to work, did all kind of attempts to find work and survive and get income, but everything failed after the main project there was over, finally when we realized God wanted us back to Finland, suddenly all things began to work out for us and I found work in Finland, found a nice home to live in and many people in need of Christian fellowship suddenly appears every now and then that we can support and help. Today i KNOW I had to be in Finland and now I dont want to be anywhere else.
Andrew, God has a place for you and your family, in these last days the Lord will put each one of us in places where he wants us, to be there when it gets worse here on earth.
Preaching to strangers in other countries and important, but preaching to “own folks” family, friends etc are as important these days, we want our own families, relatives with us when the last trumpet sounds, this i realized when I left Florida.
If we have only 8-15 years left on this earth, why would I spend these last years thousands of miles away from the people that care about me and my family? I want to be close to own relatives, own family when Jesus comes back!
Difficult times are approaching fast let us get prepared, in places, where we are called to be and live

I agree Andrew, dont fight it .God has obviously closed the door and I dont believe we should try to kick it open. Perhaps you were a scapegoat, in that God is trying to tell the rest of us that we MUST be in the centre of Gods will or we are being disobedient, and could be in danger. I think we should be praising God that this happened, a wake-up call to the rest of us ? I feel excited at what God has for you.
Andrew, God has definitely closed the door in regards to America. I never really felt like He wanted you there. But He did not close the door when it came to Canada. He opened it wide open for you, and gave you a home, and a partner, Perhaps where He wants you is right here in Abbotsford, giving the people here one last chance to repent of the love of manna and the “supernatural”? This is no surprise to me. I am so sorry that you and your family were treated like this, one thing about your peaching, which is why i read/listen to it, is that you tell it as it is. Maybe you will remember that some time ago, before the last election in USA, a muslin leader stated that, : the muslim people are going to take over the world: the result of the last election is, they think!!!,the start of this but they have a shock coming to them……God has something great for you Andrew but does not include, at the moment anyway America. Well done for all the preaching youve done there to date. Whats happening in the spiritual realms in the USA (and all of the western world) appears to me to be reflected at ground level here. Things are getting real bad.
I know we deserve judgment; but will still be praying that God in His grace removes this block — and maybe even uses it to draw more attention to how far we have fallen and our desperation for repentance.
P.S Maybe not a bad thing though as the USA is fast becoming the most spiritually deceived place on earth so far as the church is concerned.
I have been listening to your sermons every night now and have felt the need to be holy. I have never heard preaching like this in my 10 years as a Christian, and now I feel maybe I am not Christian. At first I resisted this preaching in my heart but I could feel the power in your message and as I keep listening to your sermons I feel more holy and aware of things like the normal Christian life. I really think you are needed here in nz and would love to see you doing street ministry like in the cathedral sq in Christchurch or Auckland or Wellington. In any case I encourage you brother Andrew and I know the lord will abide with you and lead you to where he wants you.
Andrew, We wrote one another before we left the USA for NZ at God’s direction in 2004. You introduced us to Christine O’Hanlon. God knitted us with the Wesbonk family in Whangaparaoa, and we had a home church there. Much to our “surprise”, and the sadness of our NZ family, we were called back to the USA, to a place where we again, had no family and knew no one… Maine.
We are aware freedoms here in the USA are declining rapidly for the believer. Your rejection at the Border is hard for us and for you. He is calling from our homelands. You are a Kiwi, and yes, the GREAT Southland of the Holy Spirit is a special place to be called to. If He is calling you home, they are receiving a great Mercy in you.
We wait in Maine, to adjust the flue of the fires that will begin in NZ.
May the Lord heal your family, replacing the hurt and injured tender places with the Joy only the Lord can give.
Although I regret that Andrew and his family could not enter the US, I believe this has been blown out of proportion in the comments here.
Does it have to be extra judgment to America just because he was denied entry? I find this silly. There are plenty of other godly people left in this country who can (and will) preach the same message. Perhaps we don’t know of them yet, but there is a remnant who have not bowed the knee to Baal.
It seems that the denying of entry was simply because the borders are becoming more secure in light of all the illegal immigration ruckus. Was it just because he was a preacher? Does anyone know this for a fact? Others on Facebook have indicated that the fingerprinting and questioning was a normal procedure and not “criminal” accusation.
Let’s not form prophetic assumptions based on hyped up emotions.
IN DEFENSE OF AMERICA…..Yes we have gone to hell in a hand basket…but America doesn’t own a right of Exclusivity in this dept. Wasn’t it Britain who recently jailed a preacher for speaking out against homosexuality? Andrew said he did not have the proper visa’s. Hello? Plus Andrew is a smart guy he knows the mexican border is wide open…he could have preached his way though the American southwest completely Unabaded! On the other hand it does reek of Christian Profiling. They would never kick out a Mullah from Iran. Andrew had a great opportunity to make a big stink and go back to Canada and hire lawyers and call Jay Seculow from the Center for Law and Justice who looks out for Christians Rights, have it all video-taped and media covered, and perhaps even embass the USA government a bit….but I guess with kids in tow.
Oh Sally reminded me..I do not believe all the silly “prophecies” that every tom, dick and harry spout that God just told them judgement is coming to America. My dog could prophecy that. We are in the Last Days I do not believe we will see any judgment other then what was written in the prophetic scriptures…meaning: mans hearts will wax worse, deception will flourish, there will be a falling away, The Church of Ladiocia, 2 Tim 3 Godlessness in those days. Judgment when it does come will be as written in the Word meaning it will not be fulfilled until Christ returns. America is under no greater threat than Europe who colludes with the USA, who set the standard for abortion, who is way more Godless than the US, All the little down under countries as well…we are all in this together. Rev. 19:19 says ALL THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD will come together to make war against Him who sits on the throne. Meaning there is no “righteous” nation….not one. All worship the anti-christ. (you could argue that the tribulation period IS judgment…thats fine but every nation on earth undergoes the same level.) There is still more Praying Godly Christians here in the US then in most countries in the world. Who gives more?
Pauly Mailett (and others) is right. America’s time is over and the Lord has already passed judgement. What use could you have been in a country doomed to be Shaken to it’s roots? Even at age 60, I don’t think I’m old enough to get out of this without experiencing the American holocaust (most likely at the hands of Muslims).
Like many nations throughout history, America has thought itself invincible. Just like Rome, we believed (and still do) that no one could “take us down”. But as some wise General once said, “it is impossible to defeat an enemy within”.

Hmmmm – there seems to be a lot of contradictory “hearings” of the voice of God in the posts so far; some declaring that God has shut the door on America, others saying the opposite. If you believe, as I do, that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and is the final authority, why don’t you check out what is written there?
John 3:16 is a good place to start. America is part of this world that Christ died for and must be included in the “whosoever” referred to in that verse. Also 2nd Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
Be careful with the assertion that “God is in control”. Yes, that’s true to a certain extent, but he chooses not to interfere with man’s free will. If he did, then free will would not be free will! Yes, he does seem to harden hearts in some specific situations (as he did with Pharoah of Egypt – Exodus 4:21), but in the end America will do what America will do – that’s their God-given choice.
Sorry you seem to have been given such a rough time by the Americal Immigration people, Andrew. I don’t know that our’s here in New Zealand are that much better! Beaurocracy gets like that at times. But I’d suggest and encourage you to check out the correct protocols thoroughly, as Francis Van Lare (17th post) has suggested, and don’t jump to conclusions about “open and closed doors” or “God is saying whatever” too quickly. And don’t succumb to kneejerk reactions.

Our Lord is shutting the door on America but He will look after His own.

Sorry to hear what you have all been through, I think this would be a standard procedure due to all sorts of people coming into the counrty and spreading there “talks” it might be an anti terrorist/islam thing to stop radicals coming through and spreading hate messages and inciting violence- but you are not like that! what ever the reason Yahweh is in control and it is a pretty strong message for this season.

Andrew, From what you describe, it sounds like the key issue was the answer stating that you were coming in to preach a series rather than one or two lectures. Lecturing is big business. Government is generally intererested when someone intends to come in for purposes of generating revenue, and I’m guessing that the financial aspect is what they were interested in, thus demanding you file proper paperwork.
I’ve given a “wrong answer” when crossing into Canada and was treated to a full search of my auto years ago. I suspect it was because of the NRA sticker on my car.
But as before, lecturing is big business and you may need to pay a fee or tax before coming in for taking advantage of the benefits of the United States.
If however you believe you have been discriminated against because of your religion, consult with your host’s legal advisors to see if there exists evidence of hidden (aka de facto) discrimination. If enough evidence can be gathered, it is possible to bring a constitutional case based on such discrimination, either discriminatoin against you or discrimination against your hosts. In the US, such discrimination based on religion is judged by strict scrutiny – the highest scrutiny – and would make for a great case in these days of preferential treatment for certain special groups.

Sincere question: Robert Burke and David Larsen – if Jesus Christ has returned “in you”, then why do I not see His holiness exhibited? I’m someone who, if presented with a possible understanding of certain things, I’m willing to look for it in the scriptures and ask the Lord about it (can’t receive anything from man anymore though) – but I don’t see the evidence of holiness that Jesus has returned. The somewhat sarcastic ‘I told-you-so’s’ here and the petty bickering on the other thread honestly has me wondering why your theory is not showing up as a reality..not judging you but sincerely wondering about the inconsistency..

Mate… Praying for you and yours. Yesterday as I read your facebook post regarding praying for access into the US, I felt that maybe God was closing the door, just as he did with the Apostle Paul on occasion. I can understand your disappointment, but am heartened to learn that you maybe returning to God’s own, Downunder.
This in my opinion could not be better timing! NZ churches are embracing this ‘invasion’ at an alarming rate. Tonight, in my city of Palmerston North, Randy Clark is preaching in one of our churches who hold fast to this invasion, preaching and holding ‘workshops’. Soon, he’ll be at another church in our capital city, and around NZ.

With all due respect it seems to me that Paul was similarly prevented (see Acts 16) I would have thought then that this would be a normal experience for those carrying His word and something to rejoice about and move on as Paul would have done. As with Paul it is the Holy Spirit that has the final say concerning the plans of man. (Acts 16:6-7) His authority is far above border guards, are we not taught that what ever authority they have is given by Him anyway? I do believe that the USA is a communist nation, and have thought that for some time now. Most people do not know what is happening in the USA. I hear stories from homeschooling families all the time about persecution from the “authorities”.
I grew up in a Russian family during the days of communist torture of christians and they harrassed at the borders same as what you have experienced,
Recently in the news of one of the canadian newspapers a family who was confused at the border took a wrong lane and ended just a few feet inside the USA border. The border police came down on them fast. They were treated also like criminals and their young children were also fingerprinted & detained for many hours. They came out very frightened and said the border police were not human in disposition. They said they will never go to the USA again because of fear. :)
Also, some dear friends of ours (who preach around the world) took a trip just over the border (they live in abbotsford). When entering canada again the border patrol asked how much money he had in his wallet. He said that he had no clue how much money he has in his wallet as he doesn’t keep an account of it. He didn’t say this tongue in cheek, just sincerely honest. Well they guy got very upset and started telling him to get against the car and detaining the family for hours and I can’t recall fingerprinting. But he said to his wife “hey, this is not worth getting shot for”. He said it was quite scary.
So, this is happening often. May the Lord of all comfort comfort your children in this. Poor sweeties. :)
I think the doors in the USA are closing to a lot of things, not just preaching. Many times I can no longer purchase books from places I purchased before. Also I know some local actresses who have been denied entry to the USA for any kind of acting jobs. :)
I know the UK is also denying people entry into that country too. I think things are on a downhill slope for all of us. The authorities just keep the downhill slope quiet while we quietly slip into……….

Wow…maybe you could try the southern border.
Hi: I am an American missionary. For 30 years I have travelled with my family and preached around the Philippines, and have also visited and spoke in churches all across Australia, USA, and Canada. We have, as a family, has to cross the border into Canada, from the USA and explain our intentions… “to visit and minister in churches,” visit church groups “who have a distinct interest in what we do in the Philippines” and who “partner in prayer and financial support with our efforts.” And I can tell you that on a number of occasions it was unbelievable how hard it was to get in! On one occasion we had been in Canada for 6 weeks, but then drove into Montana for a week of resting. The next Sunday morning we drove back to the border to get to a scheduled church service, and we were denied entry! We were told that we cannot just drive to the border of another country and expect to go in and preach in churches. We spoke to an authority in Vancouver by phone who was adamant that we had not been back to Canada since a visit 6 years earlier! We explained that we just left Canada 6 days earlier! It was absolutely crazy. And we too have been told on several occasions that we had to have special permits to do what we were doing.
However, I do not lambast Canada or Canadians as a result of this experience. And though I know how this feels, and can look, my guess is that this was an isolated (and yet growing) spiritual attack, and possibly even less than that… that is, just some stuffed shirts trying to be super good about doing their jobs, and disregarding common sense. I hope there is not more upper level conspiracy to this incident than that.
I would also, again, encourage you to love America and Americans, and take care in how much lambasting occurs when things go wrong. Several times I have nearly been killed by Filipinos (where I have lived and served for 29 years), but I do not take it out on the entire society. I love them, and they are dear people. But there are also serious spiritual problems here, and those who hate Americans, and even Christians, and would be happy to see us dead, much less deported.

Upon reading this, like others, I was shocked. When I opened my Bible minutes later, it opened to Ezekiel 15. Read the whole chapter (it’s short). The last verse reads: Ezekiel 15:8 (KJV) “And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord GOD.” I hope this was just a coincidence.

I feel for you.
The same thing happened to me in September, 1997 after several months of ministering in the States, AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN BACK SINCE (I have also been denied visitors visa for America a few times). While America has many WONDERFUL Christian people, the Government there and especially the Immigration can be quite hostile to Christian preachers.
I remember the shock I felt and it took me months to get over it.
Yet now through the internet I am reaching many hundreds of thousands of Americans and others yearly (as I am sure you are too).
We have to believe God for the Holy Spirit to move even more online. If demons can do it, how much more Almighty God.
Don’t be dismayed, be strong, God will make ways for you and your family.
Personally, I am convinced that horrifying judgments are coming upon the United States and other places as well and we have to learn to make GOD our true source for everything we need to fulfil our calling.

Heart my brother these are the signs of the times, this is just not about you not allowed into America, its about a time and season. You will find that preaching and spreading the word of God will become restricted in the future, even in Christian countries, that professed their faith.
Just as it was during the Reformation, bibles were chained to libraries and churches to restrict the spreading of the bible. Copies were burned publicly. People were persecuted for just having a personal copy of the bible by the Romish church.
I believe this time is set to repeat itself before the second coming of our Saviour. Andrew, The Seven Day Adventist have been warning churches about this for a long time, but we have not taken them seriously or even considered such a thing. While we were busy with our revivals and strange fires, we have drifted further and further from the simple gospel.
There are already 36 states in USA that have passed the blue law, go check it out, its not being exercised yet. Like you, one day Christians are going to find some “strange laws” will be used against them because of their faith and beliefs.
I would urge you to send your recent experience to all churches in USA and elsewhere to alert them from the strong delusion they are in because these are the end times and it is events like this that bring us into reality that such a thing could happen in the land of stars and stripes, freedom and democracy. Just remember that this is only the beginning of sorrows.

I have to agree (at least somewhat) with Jimmie and Robert Burke. (I am the first “Sally” who posted above, btw). This whole ordeal, while I can sympathize with what Andrew and his family went through, seems quite immature. I do not take lightly that the border patrol interrogated you and detained you and took countless fingerprints. I can also imagine that I would be very shaken and upset about it too. But to share this with thousands of people, many of whom are baby Christians who cannot handle seeing a “leader” in a weakened position… This I do not understand. This was not persecution. This was not something that warranted a “prophecy” or “confirmation” from various believers. This was simply a difficult occurence that happened to a Christian family who were doing their best to serve God as they believed they were led.
Quite frankly, I’m tired of all the fake prophesies and “words” given in the name of the Lord. This is not a light thing – to claim that “God told me the same thing.” This is a big part of what is wrong with the church!
Yes, America is about to be judged. Yes, we are in for a great shaking. Praise the Lord! All those who are His need to take refuge under His shadow (Psalm 91). It’s not about a man (or woman). It’s the heart message of Jesus Christ! It’s not about “this ministry is wrong” and “that ministry is wrong.” When the Holy Spirit comes in His power, no flesh will be standing waving their arm or laying on hands! It will be His anointing and His glory that is seen in this final wave. We will be His instruments if and only if we are willing to be vessels that are right there among those lying prostrate at His feet in surrender. It’s not about pulling back the covers to reveal the phonies. THEY WILL BE REVEALED SUPERNATURALLY! They will not stand!
When it all comes down to it – God doesn’t really need ANY of us. Quite humbling, isn’t it?

According to my Eschatology – - there are some SCHEDULED Disasters headed towards America and the world. America will suffer the most – - according to my studies.
So it might not be the worst idea, to head for home, and – - find a place where you might be fed for a while.
Actually, in thinking about it, I think this closed door – - may have been closed by the Lord – - more for your wife and kids sake – and NOT to prevent you from preaching. You obviously – - – - – - – - being married with kids – - need to protect them.

Andrew, I believe that you are one of the watchmen the Father was speaking of. You wanted to sound the ram’s horn, to alert the people of this nation, “but they would not”. They have not rejected you, but rather the Father and His Words and Torah, and there will be no healing. The massive “love offerings” that some itinerants demand (and never pay tax on) is a blotch on the integrity of Christains. Sorry Andrew, read the fine print.
Dear Brother Andrew: My heart is grieved that such a shameful act as that which your family experienced could happen in the USA.
Maybe NOW is a time to focus on being DOERS of the Word that we already have. …Especially on such words as 2nd Chronicles 7:14 “If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked way; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
It seems very clear to me that the root cause of the demise of this nation is resting quietly and comfortably in the “Church”. If the Pastors, Evangelists and Teachers are afraid or ashamed to preach the fulness of the requirements of such scriptures as the one above, and if the people will not receive and obey such truth, the greatness of this nation will be lost.
Please keep the truth of the Word flowing to us through the internet and all the ways that you can.

It’s surprising that this is happening to a New Zealander in America. It’s more understandable when they do these things to Africans and other people from the 3rd World because there’s always the suspicion of “economic immigration” instead of a missionary visit. But take heart Andrew. As all the contributors in this forum have said, God surely has a hand in this denial, if not, it wouldn’t have been possible for them to stop you.
I’ll advice further though, that you fulfill all righteousness in the visa issue. The rulers of the kingdoms of this world are sometimes bound by their own laws. In his time, Paul needed Roman citizenship to give him unhindered access to the entire Roman Empire, spreading the Gospel. I believe you should commence the process for the R1 visa immediately and have it in hand, whether you’re returning to America now or later or never. Jesus did enjoin his disciples to be as gentle as doves, but as smart as serpents, “serpents” being the world and the antichrist system.
Just something else, is it at all possible that some of the leaders of the big Christian denominations, who will likely be at the receiving end of some of your preachings in America, may have had a hand in this? Who knows?

I have said all this because I have been praying for about 8 yrs for the Lord to get me out of this Country & I believe He is answering that prayer but it is costing me too. I started praying about you when you sent a newsletter that you were looking for a lawyer & I actually was wondering that if the Lord wanted you to stay for I know the Lord is with you, that maybe this urgency was just me & not from the Lord.But this new news woke me back up & I realized that this urgency IS from the Lord & I believe that the Lord is pulling you & your family out because the Lord is getting ready to seriously judge America.

This is sad and troublesome! America is falling apart and GOD is allowing satan to do this, along with other things in this country that’s putting hardships&burdens on all of us Christians. People can get onto a raft and float into Florida or jump a fence in Texas and be given citizenship. Yet, brother Andrew is denied a chance to visit? This is what sin does to a nation that thinks like the song sings “I’m PROUD to be an American” pride is America’s problem along with the many other problems that all spell“SIN”. The words should be changed to “I’m embarrassed to be an American”. I’m an American by my birth location. But, I’m a Christian “first” by choice. This country needs to repent of it’s sinful ways because things are going to only get worse!

Good word you had above it is God alone who will do what needs to be done. Any and all who think somehow that any man or movment other then what God himself does are mistaken.
Most of what is wrong with what many call church is based on what they believe and who they believe God to be.
They are making God in thier image and not being made in His.
As far as the doctrines i was speaking about i can not address that on this forum because i was told we could not talk about them on this forum. Many have come out of church but bring with them the same old wine skin and God will not bless what they are doing because all that is about to pass away.
There is a lot of misunderstanding about who God is and most think he wants to kill people and send them to a burning hell.
God sent His son to seek and save that which was lost and that was and is everybody. Even now there are many in the church world who are off. It is not any ones job to condem them and say they must not even be saved and treat them like trash because we have painted a picture of God that is a false one.
Jesus Christ is the only man that ever lived who did not deserve what he was delt and what did he do? Father forgive them they do not know what they are doing.
I agree there is a lot of wrong teaching in the church system and i myself have talked and do talk with those doing this.
But i do not hate them or judge them nor do i not cosider them not my brother or sisters they for the most part just dont know what they are doing.
There is no room for unforgivness in the kingdom of God and make no mistake God himself is the Judge and not us we may warn and we may be used of God. But many will see that God himself is the head of his church. Any who hate any body even sinners will find them selves on the out side of what god is doing no mattter how many others say you are right.
The emotionalism here is disappointing. We need to examine ourselves. The early church was the true biblical definintion of ‘persecution’ yet they turned the world upside down. No one wants to be turned away and treated they way the Strom family has, and it’s understandable to feel slighted and upset. But I sense some ‘pot stirring’ here in many responses based on pure emotion. We talk about judgment coming in this country but the bible says it starts with His church. Perhaps this was a test to see how ‘His church’ would react to a turning away of a representative of Christ. James and Peter said we should not be surprised and even to count it as pure joy when these things come upon us. Yet it seems some would come close to ‘calling down fire’ for their brother or sister being treated exactly as the Bible says we would (and Christ told those who wanted to call down fire that they had no idea what they were doing, they were merely reactionary). I remember Carter Conlon of Time Square church talking about how was demoted for preaching Christ in the New York police department while a police officer there. Instead of ranting about first amendment rights and blaming everyone from the President to satan himself, he simply understood that he was among a ‘great cloud of witnesses’ throughout history who have undergone the same thing and even much worse. Not long after God opened a door and used Carter to save an off duty policeman who was about to commit suicide. One door shut another opened.
When we say ‘God is in control’ then complain like those in the desert about the circumstances involved in that shutting, then how do you expect God to open another??? God is constantly testing us in order perfect us. And although we will get caught up in intense situations which arouse the emotions of our flesh, we can’t let that linger. It’s understandable to react and get worked up initially but if it leads to a trend of lingering emotionalism then we are not representing Christ and our early church forefathers who wrote to us about these things. Such things were not written to us to be ignored. I pray that we get over this quickly, dust our feet off, and look for that next opportunity God will give us via His providence and His will.
David Larsen, another sincere question: how do you interpret all the scriptures that talk about hell and judgment? The following are just a couple of examples:
Mat 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Hbr 10:26-27 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.
I have to admit some of the above comments are harsh! I do not think God is putting judgment on the US. We seem to forget that He is a God of Mercy and Grace.
The Good News Jesus brought is much different than what the churches in US are preaching which is why so many have left them. Jesus preached mightily of His kingdom and He healed almost everyone! He left his sternest words to the Pharisees. Thank God when I fall and He helps pick me up I see his Grace in His eyes and not condemnation.
I see that God has closed the door to you Brother Strom. You must be an awful threat to the enemy of the spirit of religion in US so don’t give up!! Never give up!!! See God as sovereignly closing the door here for NOW and apply for that other visa and preach now where He sovereignly wants you too and stay encouraged!! This is a temporary battle but you have not lost the war!!! We need to get the proper perspective on this stop being critical and judgmental!
We need to keep loving the people who are the church in the US – they’ve had a huge bad religious spirit take over the church for a long long time.

When a pagan nation acts like a pagan nation we all act as if we are surprised. America, though founded and established on biblical principles is not nor ever has been a “Christian” nation. Only the children of Israel and the children of the new covenant in Christ who are now citizens of His kingdom have this distinction of claiming theocratic governance. We have been truly blessed and used by God as a nation in our past because we did follow our spiritual roots. We have abandoned the American dream of true freedom to live and worship as our God leads. Our new American dream is comfort and pleasure. What Andrew preached was a message that cut against the grain of our narcissistic cultural values. If you study the history of all of the other empires of the past you will find we are blindly following in their footsteps in our moral disintegration and self focus. Whether God has declared Ichabod over us as some of the previous posts stated, I don’t know. What I do know is that we are laying the ax to our own roots and in the end it will bring the demise to us as a nation. Thank God that USA is not our hope, but Christ and his eternal kingdom is as we stay true until the end. And yet I intercede and say

Any thing that paints a picture of God then one of mercy and love is not a true picture of the true God. Or you can just look at jesus and see the true image of God he concemend no one he came to be a sacrifce for all. God is the judge of the quick and the dead.
That is all men many even in Christ who think they have life and have yet to be made alive togeather with him. Many are still on milk and think they are of age when they still walk in darkness. Paul said if you did not know that Christ was in you then you were reprobate or not even saved. His death just made it possible for Him who is life to be our life by living in us. With out the son no one has life. It is Gods mercy that all that is happening in this world is happening men continue to go the same way and think they are going the right way.
Many will see very soon that the one they call God and father is so much more then some nice daddy sitting up in heaven.
He is almighty God creator of the heavens and earth and far more mighty then most could begin to fathom. When you begin to see him as he is you will not wish any get what they deserve you will only cry out you are the Mighty God full of mercy and grace and but for your love and kindness we would all be lost you truly are the Mighty God and we thank you for your love.
I agree with every word you have put forward Harvestisripe. If we sow to the flesh we reap corruption, if we sow to the spirit we reap everlasting life. Every seed brings forth after it’s kind, what we sow we reap. God is not mocked, and this is a truth that should shake us to the core!
Andrew has sown much good seed in the spirit and is one of God’s true watchmen, whom God has gifted with a sound measure of courage and conviction in His leading to bring light into those darkest of places in the apostate church. God is choosing to close a door (perhaps for a season, perhaps for good), and I pray that Andrew and his family’s JOY be made full in the Lord, and that God floods their hearts and minds with His peace.

This post is about the “revival culture” that has emerged over the past decade and I am using some quotes from this thread to make my point. I intend no disrespect to the posters I have quoted either and will not even include their names. I am not speaking against God raising men and using them such as Jonathon Edwards, Leonard Ravenhill, or the like either, but the actual “revival culture” that obviously exists here. It is sad that people can listen to edifying preaching by teachers and evangelists such as Andrew for years and yet never walk in the normal Christian life which is often time a state of revival. This is more or less what the “revival culture” is always looking for but never finding. I wonder why that is?

I heard a brother speaking once about people running all around because they hear that “God is moving here or there or doing a work in a certain place”. He said the next time someone asks you “have you heard what God is going over in such and such place” you should be able to answer “THATS NOTHING compared to what God is going in my heart! He is sanctifying me, cleansing me from all of my idols and transforming me from image and image and glory to glory”. It is sad that so many who are seeking revival are looking to men, rather then to God to move in their own hearts. God is jealous and will not share His glory with men.
Tell me my “revival culture” friends, how is Andrew not coming to the US for the umpteenth time going to stop you from laboring in the prayer closet night and day, laboring in your family to be a Godly man of woman (Titus 2), from preaching the Gospel on the street corner, from working with the homeless, addicts, and gangs, from sponsoring orphans overseas or funding missionaries around the globe? How is Andrew not coming to the US again going to stop the amazing work of God that is taking place in your own heart, own home, or fellowship? Or are these things not taking place at all?
The truth of the matter is Andrew not coming back will not stop any of those things, but you looking to man instead of God will. So before blaming Obama or border patrol (or maybe we should come up with an illuminati conspiracy theory) how about taking a long look in the mirror. Perhaps you have grieved God and even caused this yourself? Maybe its time to stop looking for some great awakening around you and start looking inwards for a great awakening to take place instead.

I also thank God for the testimonies from the great revivals and awakenings of the past and for Godly men that have shared the glorious testimonies of Gods moving during those times. Andrew, sorry to hear about the ordeal your family went through. As you noted, God has shut this door and so He has something different and better in mind from His perspective.
I’m reminded of David Wilkerson’s testimony. He was drawn to New York in 1958 to try and see five young men who were on trial for a brutal gang killing. That’s what brought him to New York but the door was slammed shut for Wilkerson to minister to the young men. Wilkerson couldn’t understand at first but ultimately it turned out to be a great blessing because Wilkerson’s visit to New York was the catalyst for Teen Challenge.
You will discover in time why this door has been closed, Andrew. If God is using this to draw you back to NZ and Australia it’s because He has plans for you and your family there.

harvestisripe: your emotional attack on David Larson’s comment made me sick, to use your words. Often the enemy uses our feelings to his benefit and keeps us from being fully in the spirit with the eyes, ears and wisdom that the Lord gives us.
Andrew: My first reaction to reading your email about this was on an emotional level too, what “a travesty and outrage” the experience was for you and your family and was really upset, even imagining things to do with it. In the morning light I have to agree with Francis Van-Lare and the others who’ve posted and suggested that you just do the paper-work and get the R1 Visa, whether you actually use it in the future will remain to be seen. Regardless of how prophetic we may become, we cannot know everything about what the Lord has in mind for us in the future. Going ahead with doing the proper paperwork is just a matter of being prepared for what may or may not come. Trying to “catch up” on this type of thing a year or several years later is not an easy task and not always timely, so I pray that you go ahead and just attend to it now without emotions attached unless you want to “vent” to the authorities in charge and let them know how you and your family “felt” about the matter.
While I’m sure that God knew what was going to happen before you even got there, He did allow it. Perhaps you’re even being tested to do with it. Are you really going to believe that He closed the door to your coming here, or are you going to slam it shut yourself?
Living in this small city in AZ, I’ve been able to see first hand that the immigration situation in this country is really a huge and growing issue. First, businesses started being fined for hiring illegal aliens, now with the new law the governor passed, they’ve packed up and left town, and even the legal immigrants from Mexico are angry and taking it personally. Some of our biggest employers are pulling their businesses out and moving them to different states where they don’t expect the same type of law, all while some other states are starting to implement the same or similar type of law for themselves. Yes, it has in fact, freed up some jobs for Americans living here but not compared to the number of employees maintained by the companies who are pulling out, at least 2 of which employed more people here than any others.
We all tend to think that everything that happens to us is about “us” and God but I say Andrew that this was not about you or your family. It is about an issue here in this country and things didn’t work out well at this time. I apologize to your and your family for the rude and time-wasting way with which you were treated and wish you well in all Godly endeavors you undertake in the future. You may be needed here even more in the future than you are now as they are most likely going to build that huge new mosque in NY, to prepare for the huge infulx of immigrants from Iraq and Afganistan who will be coming to our shores..

May God have mercy on everyone that has blogged and put their own “two cents” in . That includes me too. But I am writing to basically rebuke all this. Many have posted such things that probably are not of the Lord. Yes, scripture is fine, but the “input/opinions” are not. The tongue lashing of some and the down right ugliness of some writings are not of the Lord. They are of the flesh. This blog has become a seat for the good, the bad, the ugly and the twisted truth of the Lord in many aspects. Look at the pot shot responses of some of these bloggers. None of it is necessary or Godly.
On to Andrew. Is it possible that Andrew was just writing “his feelings , his dispair and his shock of the situation that happened. ?? Maybe Andrew should have waited 24 hours before truly writing the whole story or event and just written a general e-mail stating that meetings would be cancelled and events are postponed indefinately . Maybe in writing that , he could have spared much of this garbage that is being posted – and that is exactly what it is. Time spent out of truly seeking the Lord and praying for the family. Most of this stuff is speculation and noseyness!!!!!
Maybe , just maybe w/ the events of all borders right now, the border patrol is being VERY VERY careful. Maybe , just maybe, they are doing this to many people. I live close to a border and the alerts are on HIGH right now. There are extremist that are always trying to come in and maybe these border patrols are just being overly protective right now. But that is THEIR BUSINESS not any of ours. No harm has truly been done , except some fingerprints and interrigations (that we really don’t know the extent of) Yes, a crying daughter and unhappy family that thought they were coming into the states that had prepared for a long journey. Maybe , just maybe, everyone is jumping to conclusions and none of this is necessary. Matter of fact, this whole blogging has really gone down hill. It only takes one or two people to pollute something and get it off track.
Look at D. Wilkerson’s website. You don’t see an open forum. On many of them you don’t. And the reason why is because of exactly what is going on here. Look at the attacks on each other. Then tell me if it is of God.??
Yes, it is sad that this happened but on the other hand maybe God has something different or better for this family during this time. NO ONE REALLY KNOWS UNTIL GOD DIRECTS THEM. So why is it that the tongue is spouting so much out of it???
We have all heard that the USA is going to change and that it is on its last legs. But truly know one knows the time or the month or even the year. It is in God’s hands and when it happens we will all know about it. The hand writing is on the wall so to say, but frankly it is God’s decision and Control of it – all the speculating is just like any of news station forum and Fox news contributors. They see the facts, and they make remarks. Are not we suppose to Wait upon the Lord and not be of this worldliness ? Where is the peace in all of this?
Thinking back, Andrew sent out an e-mail THAT WAS NOT A BLOGGING ONE and he asked for help to find a christian lawyer because of immigration problems. Maybe that was the Lord giving HIM a warning . ONLY GOD KNOWS AT THIS POINT and it is none of our business.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This website has become in some ways a very busybody website and this is just what the church is at times.
How about if we just wait and see what the Lord wants and has in store for Andrew and his family and spare everyone of all these comments and speculations??? Maybe that is a Godly thing. Maybe that will help us all and not put “thoughts” that are not of God into the heads of those that read this website.

This is taken from D. Wilkerson’s devotional this morning. Can the plug be pulled from all of these harmful comments? Once again, what is the purpose of all of this? No one really knows the HEART OF THE LORD and why this happened so everyone needs to put a lid on it because the writings are getting worse not better and more harm is being done than good. No one needs to stick up for anyone and yet we all need to allow the Lord to work what HE HAS CHOSEN to do in this situation. No one needs pats on their back and koodos and warm fuzzies. FROM THE BATTLEFIELD OF FAITH
When Paul decided to go to Jerusalem, it wasn’t because he’d heard revival was breaking out there. He wasn’t a discouraged preacher looking for someone to impart something of God to him. No—he states clearly, “I went up…to Jerusalem…by revelation and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach” (Galatians 2:1–2). Paul went to Jerusalem to share a mystery that God wanted to reveal to his people. This godly man had his own full, glorious revelation of Christ. He didn’t learn the doctrines he preached by shutting himself in a study with books and commentaries. He wasn’t some isolated philosopher who dreamed up theological truths, thinking, “Someday my works will be read and taught by future generations.” Let me tell you how and where Paul produced his epistles. He wrote them in dark, damp prison cells. He wrote them while wiping the blood from his back after being scourged. He wrote them after crawling from the sea, having survived another shipwreck. Paul knew that all the truth and revelation he taught came from the battlefield of faith. And he rejoiced in his afflictions for the gospel’s sake. He said, “Now I can preach with all authority to every sailor who’s been through a shipwreck, to every prisoner who’s been locked up with no hope, to everybody who has ever looked death in the face. God’s Spirit is making me a tested veteran, so I can speak his truth to everyone who has ears to hear.” God hasn’t turned you over to the power of Satan. No—he’s allowing your trial because the Holy Spirit is performing an unseen work in you. Christ’s glory is being formed in you for all eternity. You’ll never get true spirituality from someone or something else. If you’re going to taste God’s glory, it’s going to have to come to you right where you are—in your present circumstances, pleasant or unpleasant. I believe one of the great secrets of Paul’s spirituality was his readiness to accept whatever condition he was in without complaining. He writes, “I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content” (Philippians 4:11). The Greek word for content here means “to ward off.” Paul is saying, “I don’t try to protect myself from my unpleasant circumstances. I don’t beg God for relief from them. On the contrary, I embrace them. I know from my history with the Lord that he’s doing something eternal in me.” “That ye may be able to bear it…” (1 Corinthians 10:13). The word bear which Paul uses here implies that our condition isn’t going to change. The point is for us to bear up under the situation. Why? God knows that if he changes our condition, we’ll end up destroyed. He allows us to suffer because he loves us. Our part in every trial is to trust God for all the power and resources we need to find contentment in the midst of our suffering. Please don’t misunderstand me—being “content” in our trials doesn’t mean we enjoy them. It simply means we no longer try to protect ourselves from them. We are content to stay put and endure whatever is handed to us, because we know our Lord is conforming us to the image of his Son.

What happens to God’s people when they don’t have vision?

What do we hope to see? What is the vision God has put in us?
When that vision begins to happen, what is the first thing we will see?
How will we know it’s happening?
Is it a promise of God?

Andrew I am in intercession for you and your precious family. God is with you all and it is as you have said he has it all under control.
Keep by his very side and he will set your course set your steps and listen to no man at this time, hearing Only His Voice, He will direct you very path.
You all are loved very much and I trust he will do all he has promised you he would do., for he is faithful and loves you all very much.

NOTE!!! This comment is NOT about Andrew, his family, or ministry. May God sanctify and keep them as is the prayer for all of His children here. This post is about the “revival culture” that has emerged over the past decade and I am using some quotes from this thread to make my point. I intend no disrespect to the posters I have quoted either and will not even include their names. I am not speaking against God raising men and using them such as Jonathon Edwards, Leonard Ravenhill, or the like either, but the actual “revival culture” that obviously exists here. It is sad that people can listen to edifying preaching by teachers and evangelists such as Andrew for years and yet never walk in the normal Christian life which is often time a state of revival. This is more or less what the “revival culture” is always looking for but never finding. I wonder why that is?

I heard a brother speaking once about people running all around because they hear that “God is moving here or there or doing a work in a certain place”. He said the next time someone asks you “have you heard what God is going over in such and such place” you should be able to answer “THATS NOTHING compared to what God is going in my heart! He is sanctifying me, cleansing me from all of my idols and transforming me from image and image and glory to glory”. It is sad that so many who are seeking revival are looking to men, rather then to God to move in their own hearts. God is jealous and will not share His glory with men.
Tell me my “revival culture” friends, how is Andrew not coming to the US for the umpteenth time going to stop you from laboring in the prayer closet night and day, laboring in your family to be a Godly man of woman (Titus 2), from preaching the Gospel on the street corner, from working with the homeless, addicts, and gangs, from sponsoring orphans overseas or funding missionaries around the globe? How is Andrew not coming to the US again going to stop the amazing work of God that is taking place in your own heart, own home, or fellowship? Or are these things not taking place at all?
The truth of the matter is Andrew not coming back will not stop any of those things, but you looking to man instead of God will. So before blaming Obama or border patrol (or maybe we should come up with an illuminati conspiracy theory) how about taking a long look in the mirror. Perhaps you have grieved God and even caused this yourself? Maybe its time to stop looking for some great awakening around you and start looking inwards for a great awakening to take place instead.
Again, my post has nothing to do with Andrew, his family, or ministry and should NOT in any way be read that way. I also thank God for the testimonies from the great revivals and awakenings of the past and for Godly men that have shared the glorious testimonies of Gods moving during those times. Glory to the Lord,
America has become like the nations it once used to send missionaries to. Now America is lost and in need of missionaries, but those very missionaries are stopped at the border – just like totalitarian regimes are wont to do. I used to “love” the flag. I used to “love” our songs, emblems and slogans. But all those superficial things are meaningless now, aren’t they? How humbling for me, 8th generation American, to admit that “The Land of the Free” is nothing of the kind. When the wickedness falls here in The States, it will be like the days of old, like the Pagan days of old. We will be the New Rome, the New Babylon, the New World, the New World Order, the New Age, etc. Except the evil isn’t new. It’s as old as Eden.
But look at my face! It shines and I am smiling. I have the love of The Lord. I need no symbols, no flags nor emblems. The Seal of God Almighty is upon my forehead, His arms are about my house and home. God Almighty has blessed my marriage and my fortune. Never in all my life have I felt so strongly the blessings and power of my Lord, my Christ, my Father, my Holy Spirit.
Wickedness abounds, but the days of evil are numbered. They will give out and Jesus will return. I believe this more now than ever before. I see prophecy being fulfilled. I see the beast system unfolding. These things must come about, but they are cause for great joy! The day of the Return is so very near. So very near. (I believe in a post-tribulation rapture. I’m preparing for the worst.)
So, smile in the face of wickedness. Fear not. Continue your works in humble servitude and be of good cheer. Does not the Spirit of the Lord dwell within? Is His Light not shining forth from within? Andrew, just had a thought – I am not terribly technologically-minded but remember the Billy Graham meetings relayed by satellite and projected onto screen. Would this, or skype projected on to a larger screen or something, still make it possible for you to “hold meetings” in the places you were intending to go? I don’t know how complicated or expensive this would be to set up… just a thought. Every blessing to you and your family.
I’m so sorry for this;l but I see it as persecution coming to christians and we as christians in America need to seek God for the strength to bear the persecution that is coming. I don’t think that it is just evangelists and preachers who will face persecution; but all christians. America is on a downhill slide (I feel because they have turned thier back on God and allowed sins such as abortion , the killing of innocent babies, and other sins tbe allowed in our nation, homosexuality, gay marriage, lack of prayer in schools,etc to abound and without true repentance will continue to fall. We are being called by God to Repent as a nation, but most are not hearing the message (evev churches are cold and do not hear God’s warning.) Thank you Bro. Andrew for the messages that you have given to the church in America and in all the eorld. There is much you can do to continue to minister to us here in America. Andrew, we are with you brother and are in agreement with you for the Lord’s direction for you and the family. We need the fiery trial and tribulation to purge this flesh and bring us closer to the Lord! What is about to happen is necessary and many of us have seen it coming for some time! I have been one of those that became complacent even though I saw the “writing on the wall”. Often times we need the fire to purify us because we don’t go to our cross willingly! The church today does not look like the church that Jesus is coming to get! Jacob is still small! We need more faith and more repentence not more of this world! The good news is we have Christ in us if we would yield to him and the power of the Holy Spirit working in us! The promises in the Word are true but we can’t believe them while we have idols in our hearts! Let’s pray for one another and exhort each other to press in and give up our lives in this world! Lord we ask and we need your grace and mercy to do this!

I’m so sorry that this has happened. I know of a Canadian musician/evangelist that this also happened to. He and his wife and 8 children all suffered through detention, questioning, fingerprinting, etc. for many hours and, in the end, were turned away. I’m not surprised that God is shutting the door to America. America has pretty much shut to door on Him. Looks like we are about to suffer what Scriptures says: famine of the word. Its now up to us believers in America to keep preaching the word wherever and however we can.

Andrew, the headliner in my email cache pulled me away from what was to be an early morning stroll. Let me tell you how sorry I am that you and yours had endured such a trying time at the U.S./ Canada border when such a thing was unheard of. I grew up with the subconscious understanding that ours was once a peaceful and friendly country. Alas, the times being such as they are, that was a past time that is no more. I am especially disturbed that your children were traumatized, but I know and am praying that the peace of God which is beyond our reasoning will continue to guard the hearts and minds of your entire family.
While I’m still here let me thank Clas for easing my mind about an issue. I had lived with my family for almost 25 yrs. overseas. While the experience was life-altering, I had the deepest trials in all my 40+ yrs. of living that lasted one month shy of eight yrs (started 25 Sep 00 and went on until 26 Aug 07). As I reflected back on the whys and wheretofores, the thought came that it’s time for us as a family to stay close to the homefront just in case the ‘party’ started noone really wants to be a part of.
It may be in our DNA to ‘hide-n-sleep in the day’ and ‘follow North Stars’ and ‘look for signs on our passageway to sanctuary’, but I don’t think we could play it off on foreign soil. Of course, I should never say never; with God all things are possible. Still, families and friends need us nearby for comfort’s sake, and I need to be about my Father’s business now that we’re home.
I agree with many others on other issues mentioned. The treatment was harsh, but that only indicated we are fast approaching a time when, just as harshly, and more so, we will be persecuted for the Cross, even here in the ‘land of the free…”. They may know of your reputation as a Preacher of Truth and Righteousness and have dealt with you; relax. The Lord has prepared the reward for such as these. We know the impending judgment is coming to America; the minute this administration dealt treacherously with Israel our days were numbered. I believe the Lord will cover those that are His, just as He did His people when they were in Goshen. And finally, while we still have this means open to us, continue to pour out to us; we will still sew into this good ground as we remain in a position to receive.

Strangely (ironically), it appears to be those who are deaf, dumb and blind and proud of it who passively cause the majority of problems. Yes, really the same ones who took part in the inquisition and the crusades. Seeing all who do not see, and/or interpret, the world as you do as something less than yourself is ridiculously arrogant beyond words. Choosing to malign others because they have chosen an alternate path is in itself, a path doomed to failure.

I get a money thing about Andrews Visa. Anyone without a criminal history and with a proper visitors visa is free to enter the US. Andrew says he has done it before. I wonder if Andrew kept his mission of evangelizing quiet the first time… and got through, and then this time they asked was he going to be taking up a collection at which point Andrew answered yes…and then the visit falls by law under a different catagory, and more than just a student visa or visitor visa is needed.

it is sad that you all were treated like some kind of criminal and not allowed to minister to the church in the USA. from what i have heard of your sermons you preach a very emphatic and difficult message. the reason for this denial may be that the church is not ready for strong meat but desires to hear those who will preach smooth things. although our timeline is probably growing short, you may yet be allowed to come here.

That’s really my feeling too, we’re in a time of transition and maybe what God mainly wants of His people right now is to get us to pay attention to that “kingdom within us”. I found myself reflecting on the Song of Solomon 1:5 today where the beloved says, “My mother’s sons were angry with me and made me take care of the vineyards; my own vineyard I have neglected.” We can get too busy and concerned over the spiritual condition of others because that is what we were taught and “brought up” in the system to think we were supposed to do by our “mothers sons” (note: different Father) and neglect our own vineyards – this may be the situation and perhaps habit most of us brought with us when we left the churches, and prayer became focused on the things surrounding what we were ‘doing’ for the Lord more so than pursuing Him for truth and transformation and just taking time to ‘be’ with Him. We have tended to believe that God wants to “use” us in the same sense as the world uses that term, but I don’t believe He would ever want us to serve Him at the expense of our own spiritual life, rather His way is that service will proceed naturally from the spiritual life that we have with Him.
Seasons change, for example I don’t believe He will be warning the apostate church indefinitely, a time comes when His words and warnings will be about to be fulfilled and then it’s time to “Go my people, enter your rooms and shut the door behind you until my wrath passes by.” in order to be sheltered on that day. The Lord doesn’t always tell us what He is doing, we simply find ourselves sort of hemmed in by circumstances which can sometimes be quite perplexing. This is what I believe He has been doing with many if not all of those who have “come out of her” – getting us into our “rooms” (bridal chamber?) and shutting the door. His desire for each of us is to “perfect that which concerns YOU.” Hallelujah! – And hang a “Do not Disturb” sign on the door! ;)
Andrew, perhaps God was protecting you and your family. With all that is coming to pass here in the U.S., we are bound to feel His wrath before too very much longer. Bless you and your family and although I know that it is inappropriate for me to apologize for my country (that’s Obama’s job), I nonetheless am very sorry that you were treated so shabbily.
Sorry to hear about your experience, but that is the New World Order that just forbid you from entering their Country. To be honest the USA is under homeland security and do not want people to think anything other than what their masters tell them! So if Canada can bar George Galloway, they USA can bar any Christian they like. This free and democratic propaganda is just that! I am sure that it was very disturbing to be treated like that and, especially, to have your family treated that way too. The LORD is obviously leading you on a different path than the one you were planning on. I pray HE gives you all courage and hope for the days ahead. I am not sure what is coming to America but The LORD told me several years ago to stop praying for America because I was praying against His will. Since then, I only pray that HE do with America as HE pleases…I do not ask Him to help her.
Andrew, why cancell the meetings? the USA is IT savvy You can sit in NZ with a web cam, use a voip program (eg skype) , any one in USA could be invited to project your image and hear your voice and a big screen. We use voip regularly to preach and teach in remote situations. You could even organise a question time, and you can answere in real time.

Only the prayers that are prayed according to His will, from a heart that is right with the Father. and to pray His will a person has to have a clear conscience before Him.

The Apostle Paul had much opposition from people in government offices but he pressed through them…so, when you were led to do meetings and all these churches agreed was that all of peoples doings or was it ordained by the Lord? If that was of the Lord than you must stand up and hold your position, not flee!
While we are in this world and we follow the Lord it will not be all comfortable and we will find much opposition because we are a dread to the enemy.
Reading a lot of the comments in here it seems like people are anxious to see the judgement to fall upon America. God himself delays or even shortens judgements all over history but yet it seems like some here are hungry to see it. This is not the time for this kind of unloving expectation. This is the time to pray the Father’s heart for this nation.
Yes, they are many sins and trangressions done in this nation and all over the world, but there are many, many saints in this nation and all over the world! And we ought to be praying for the salvation of the Lord over our nation and expect to see it instead of judgement.

I do agree with Francis Van-lare, he has given you very good advice and obviously knows what he is doing, he seems to be a person with his feet on the ground.. I hate it when ever there is a blip with anything – Christians immediately jump on the ‘persecution bandwagon’ We have to show wisdom here.
The same thing happened with Don Fransisco when he came to Britain – he was detained and sent back because he didn’t have the correct paperwork – this was immediately seen as persecution, but it was because he told them on arrival that he was doing concerts, which was then seen as working.
A very well known chat show host on the BBC said in one of his programmes that he had made the mistake when going over to the USA of telling them that he was going to film for his programme while he was there – he was then so shocked to be also detained for 6 hours and then sent back to Britain, because he was then seen as working, not holidaying, so it is not just Christians!

Border controls have got a nightmare of a job keeping our countries safe – we seem to forget that we are also in a time of war and have to be on guard protecting our countries.
In a different area of the problem – on our BBC news yesterday it was stated that what has now been noticed is ordinary prisoners in our jails are now being radicalised by visiting preachers, and this is now turning into a huge security threat to the safety of our country, as the enemy is growing within., so prison visitation by religious groups will now also be clamped down on and vetted and an officer present. This is not because of Christianity!!
Words such as ‘preach’ are becoming trigger words which spark off warning bells in peoples minds immediately bringing thoughts of radicalism and terrorism.
As Christians we have to be wise and aware of the times in which we live, these are times of great fear and stress – I do not envy the jobs of those in border control – they have such a massively responsible job.
GOD has allowed Satan to use this (Andrew being denied entrance into the U.S.) to test us and it has brought division among us and has everyone being individual of themselves, blaming this or that and nobody here has yet to look into a mirror. Just as when GOD asked Adam about eating of the forbidden tree in the garden, Adam said “she gave it to me”. GOD then asked Eve and she said, “the serpent deceived me” (Genesis 3:9-13) neither one of them took the blame for what they had done! As I read these comments on this page it makes me sad that what is called to be ONE in CHRIST JESUS is being as individuals. Let us all come together as ONE and PRAY for Andrew and his family that GOD’S will be done and not of our own. GOD said, don’t look to the bigness of your need. Look to the bigness of your GOD!

They told me to do that I have to have an “R” visa.
Just go get one!
We applied for an “R” visa 10 months ago.
Filled out about an inch thick of paperwork. Jumped through all the hoops. I spoke to a US official a couple weeks ago and he said we were most likely going to be Denied it – seemingly on a “technicality”. This was well before the border incident. (They are not connected).
But preachers are NOT SUPPOSED to need an “R” visa for temporary preaching trips into America. I never have before.

Brother Andrew is a dear man in the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ, but he is not the conscience of the Holy Spirit. Andrew is only a member in the Body who is baring witness of the truth to what the Holy Spirit has been witnessing within his renewed mind and conscience. If Andrew is calling for needful repentance in the body of believers because he is seeing the breaches in a portion of the body as a result of stealthy sin that infects the flesh, and your conscience bares witness with the need for repentance, then the Holy Spirit is speaking the mind of Christ to the hearer. No one is justified in their flesh before God. Those who say they are without sin have deceived themselves and have their own covering of self deception.
Stealthy Sin hates to be discovered and hides in the lowest, darkest and weakest place of prideful, self-preservation, and acts repulsively in the light of the Word of God. Because it is more convenient and more comfortable to self-mindedness, man would rather choose the lie than to face the truth about themselves. The humility to admit guilt with true God-ward sorrow, not for the temporal loss, but toward the person offended is an attribute that is absolutely missing in sin’s covering of itself. A malignancy, as in cancer, has a hardened cellular covering that opposes the natural immune responses in the body, and so it is with the spiritual malignancy of sin, as it hardens the heart and cowers in the darkest recessive pathways of the mind, trying to avoid the light of discovery and cure.
If sin is exposed in the light of God, then the only remedy for sin is in the Blood of the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. The life of the flesh is in the Blood, and Jesus Christ the perfect Son of God and that of man, says: You have not life in you, unless you eat of My Flesh and drink of My Blood. For My Flesh is real food indeed, and My Blood is real drink indeed. If the messenger, who sees the invasive breach of stealthy sin, and does not call for the powerful defenses in the Blood of Christ to defend the Body, then he too needs to repent, for he, like all sinners, is accountable to that Blood.

I personally find comments of God “shutting door” to be short sighted. God only shuts the door when the judgement is engaged as with the flood and Sodom and Ghammorah. I really wonder at times the quickness of some folks playing the “God is going to judge” and how bad off this country is. Got news for you folks, the whole world is embracing more and more darkness. The United States has been involved with evil from government for a long, long, long time. The United States also has become a source and seed sower of much deception and engaging in much to bring about slumber and intoxication.
Now, let me ask each one of you proclaiming how bad the US is, have you started with yourself? Are you walking in self-rightousness and spiritual pride or are you humbling seeking to grow in submission to the King of Kings. Are you building up others in the body of Christ or tearing down others. Are you submitting to God or growing own kingdom. Are you engaged in self-determined relating to God or genuine surrender to His ways? Ask yourself each of these before casting any stones on this country. Yes, times of judgement are coming. There is shaking going on, and judgment starts with the house of God. Open your eyes, open your ears, open your heart. Ask God to show you what may be wicked in you. As to the countries goverments will come and go. Power will shift and change and days will grow darker and humanity draws closer to oneness. Note the times and seasons, is Gog, Magog far off? Be sober minded and alert. Surrender to the King of Kings.

Now normally the false prophets ban me from forum sites for giving out that kind of information but if you are serious about bringing your country back to God then that is what you need to pray against. This is the demon that is rising to power there and bringing the persecution against the church. Now you have the name of what you are dealing with, the tools to reverse the tide. Either you run with it or drop the ball. The choice is yours.
I agree that the USA government and state of country is not the only one that is in transgression.
Here in Canada we abort babies, and on the taxes of the people. Here in Canada the people are so asleep they barely stir when a bible verse is spoken. When I arrived in Canada 19yrs ago and began to street witness the people flinched not. No conviction at all. Nineteen years later sin abounds in the masses. There is no God in the churches. Oh, they have their sunday morning services to be sure, but faith in Christ?? Without faith it is impossible to please God. In Revelation it says that the “unbelievers” shall not enter into the kingdom. Unbelief God won’t stand for, yet in Canada unbelief is the normal mainstay.
I had just arrived from Australia where I also street witnessed, and sometimes preached, and I had rocks thrown at me, cans thrown at me, got chased out of parks by hobo’s with demonic spirits in them, spat at, screamed at etc. Now that is conviction, but to speak to a stony face with a smile on it because it’s being “polite”…..this is something wrong with all this. No fire on the inside, just a bunch of nothing. I can see why Jesus says that lukewarmness He will spew from His mouth. It’s detestable, hypocrisy. Better that they get fired up and confess their rottenness and their unbelief, at least they won’t be hypocrites.
I spoke to a man in the park, an unsaved man, he told me he had just finished a trip across Canada and noticed the churches were boarded up across the nation. He said it made him sad because what will happen to the next generation?
So before we cast stones at the USA like they owe the world something, let’s check out our own backyards.

I also came to Canada in 97 and found the same thing.
Yes judgement is about to fall and that will provide the opportunity to explain things a little better. To Take the yanks the Russians will have to secure Canada first. And of course our little army is all shipped out to the middle east where they are not going to be defending very much of anything back here.
But what might interest you is that it is possible to talk about this with the youngsters here. They have not been broken in by political correctness and fear of reputation yet.

motherofnations – I think it’s possible what you encountered with the Canadian public might be a demon of another kind, a quieter, more subtle one – it sounds kind of cultish. Canadians are a people in bondage I’m afraid. Bless you for coming here and witnessing – I find our newcomers to this land are a breath of fresh air, and a potential blessing in the sense that when someone is tied up, it takes someone who isn’t tied up to release them.
Tony, its interesting you would say that about Russia, a couple of years ago or so, I turned to the north in the spirit and saw an invading military force of some kind coming, I received nothing more than that, just that it is coming. Since then I have noticed the Russians posturing regarding the Arctic (planting their flag on Arctic ocean floor on our side of the border) and lately their bombers are repeatedly having to be intercepted by Canadian fighter jets almost as though they are testing our resolve to defend our territory..
The sad fact is that there were many Christians both African-American and whites who because of hatred towards Bush’s policies or for some other ungodly reasons voted Obama into Office. If EVERY Christian stood up as they should have and voted conservatively, perhaps this could have been prevented. We, as Christians are the ones to blame for the ungodly take-over of America 2 Chron 7:14: “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” It is time we return to the basics instead of voting because of race, color, or even political party.
I’ve come to learn that things, do happen for a reason. The day of the Lord will soon be upon us.

A friend’s daughter in law had some bad experiences with trying to be here legally, they lost her paperwork numerous times, they had to pay the fee of $1,500 twice because they lost the first fee and so on. They finally got a lawyer for $2,500.00 and he filled out the paperwork for them and it went through without a hitch, seems “they” like lawyers doing the work. Just a thought.

Just a short note to my Brethern! I was blessed to be used by the Lord to sponsor the Strom’s to Canada. I realized the spiritual ground is hard and on top of all this I live in the city of what was one time Todd Bentley’s city.
The doors to Canada swung open widely and welcome the entire strom family to minister here. There were no blocks through the whole immagration process and I was looking forward to the plan to sposor the Strom’s after the first year to the next five years.
The Lighthouse Ministry of Abbotsford was used by the Lord to give opportunity to Canada to have its ground tilled and for us as a church we were blessed by the Strom’s and will be for the next years that are ahead.
A plan for Canada was in the making with it being the base to move in and out of USA ministry. I wittnessed the times Andrew went back into the USA for specific periods as well as South America and as well just by one day Andrew missed out on the African embassey to give the OK – it came one day to late and the work in Africa went aground.
I agree there are others ways to communicate to us in the wilderness who Like myself need to here from those with messages like Andrew gives.
God plans all and I am not one who would even attempt to question, expound or any like thing – God is God and I wittness to the truth that this man is a man of God and his family were and are wonderful examples of a unified body and how well a unified body can function and handle even the toughess of trials (they were brused and battered so unnecessarly – treated as criminals)
I witness to the fact that their treatment was truly very excessive and hard to his young family.
We as the Church of God need to be so strong – The wind of change is coming for all (of what was one time) great nations – my country Canada, yours the USA and our friends are in for an shaking!

This will probably provide a greater wake up call to the Christians in that nation than if he did actually go in and do his meetings as if everything was normal. His blocking will probably have a far greater effect to mobilization than his preaching. God knows what he is doing. Also only being stuck just six hours is really nothing. Things are going to get a whole lot worse. Speak to those missionaries that ended up in the jails for months.

Has God left us here in Canada then??? This is not a logical comment. We need to be scriptural when we judge situations. God hasn’t left me, I have His promises from His word that if I diligently seek Him I will find Him. Selah.
None of us can afford to put our hopes in one man, then it becomes idolatry and God hates idolatry. We are called to trust God with ALL of our lives. We are not to trust in anything that pertains to this earth.
As much as we love and respect Andrew, he is a mere mortal who fades away like a blade of grass, here today and gone tomorrow. As scripture says God brings kings down in one day and raises another the next day.
I know people who were so exalted about how God powerfully used them that they seemed to die prematurely. The people wondering why God didn’t spare them since the “world needed them”. I always quietly considered to myself that perhaps they were in the way of God being the one that was glorified. It is a very fearful thing to take God’s glory for ourselves.
All of us are replaceable, and very quickly too.

My thoughts are especially with Andrew and his family right now…I can’t help but think some of the comments made must be as much a trial as the treatment and disappointment he and his family went through detained and in the hands of armed and suspicious Immigration officers, who are not exactly know for their sense of humour. Usually what happens in the natural follows what has already just taken place in the spiritual. I see this restriction on preaching in the USA as an indication of what’s taking place over N. America right now, (and the rest of the western world usually follows as we saw with the Todd Bentley saga in 08). The door is closing on truth and deception will take its place. We will all need to submit deeply and focus on serving Gods purposes in order to survive the coming tide of deception. I’m so sorry this happened and I understand why you may not want to pursue this. However, others could be affected by this as well and I don’t think it should be ignored. We have a Christian lawyer here in the states who fights for our rights and I think you should contact him. Jay Sekulow is his name and you can look up his website. Please look into this.
I know a Canadian who was denied access, too, due to her religious involvement. She had been to a ministry school in Arizona after having been at a mission school in Africa. When she and her friend tried to cross the border the next year to attend the program, she was denied; although her friend was not. I recall the friend who made it through said something about her “religious affiliations” were mentioned somehow in the denial.
Perhaps there is an atheist, or gay person, or ? putting up a roadblock where one ought not to be.
Hi Andrew, as disappointing as it must be for your itinerary to be cancelled in this way there is a much bigger issue looming for Western nations. There is statistical data available that suggests that a country’s culture can be completely overturned within two generations if the citizens sit back and simply accept what is being foisted upon them. There is also considerable evidence which suggests that the majority of western societies are the victims of a passive Islamic invasion. Christian rights and practices are being trampled under foot by the insideous deception that is political correctness and the desire not to offend. My bible tells me that the Word of God will offend sometimes. If immigrating Islamic practicioners can stop us preaching the Word of His Power then we are less than two generations away from having to pray five times a day facing Mecca and my wife and daughters having to replace their wardrobes with a selection of Burkas or Hijabs. Were you being paid for your tour? If so, they could deny you entrance for that reason, since those may technically require employment visas. If not, then it is religious discrimination, pure andf simple. Check with an immigration lawyer to structure your contract in ways that comply with laws. These is more pressure to restrict people now, although the Obama regime is quite selective about how they enforce it. Most of you Canadians were in favor of the Fascist-in-Chief when he was running for office.

Isn’t it a shame that one cannot enter the US from Canada, but the illegals enter from Mexico and collect benefits that we pay for. This isn’t about Canada or the USA it isn’t about whoes armed or not this isn’t about invasions. This is about God. I was here and saw the faces on Andrew and his family as they came back to my home. It is about God slamming shut the door. We had to many people praying for God will to come forth and it did. He that is God warns us near the end of days he will remove His spirit from the people. Like andrew I too travel around from place to place doing the work of God. We always have people praying for us and when God shuts to door it is shut and another will open. I think as I ponder on all of this there is a clear message that God is sending and he used Andrew again to send forth that message North America Wake up. I am pulling my servants from you and will protect them from your bowls and nashing teeth. God has simply implamented the plan He told us about many a year ago. So stop and think about this if God has indeed removed His spirit from America that has already fallen apart how much more is there to come, a complete melt down and disaster is this what it will take before every knee Bows and surrenders to God. Hold your families tight guard yourselves against the enemy and love on your neighbour because you just never know when that final trumpet will blow

The administration of our current president is a terrible yoke upon our nation, and while public opinion has rightly turned on him I don’t feel there is enough acknowledgement and acceptance of God’s will in this. It’s more of a spirit of rebellion driving the masses right now with too little acknowledgement of the temperance prescribed in Romans 13. And this is an elected government whose leaders have come to power through the foolishness of the citizens. My country has no excuses left. Like you Andrew, I am a New Zealander, now ministering in Australia & no longer permitted into a South Pacific Island. When I was pastoring in New Zealand, I sensed that the Lord was sending people out from our small nation to the world. When I came to Australia, I ministered extensively to small groups of Christians. As most groups were under no particular affiliation, it seemed that I had offended certain affiliations. As a result, ministry for me was virtually dificult.
So the incidence of your boarder experience , is alive on a different scale on a more local situation, even within the boarders where each of us live.
It ereminds me of the scripture, where Jesus said to His deciples, ” If the people do not receive you, then wipe the dust off your feet & move on.” The shame of your situation is that it is not so much THE PEOPLE, but those jealously guarding their own empires.
We are blessed now, where my wife & I are connected to a wonderful fellowship, where, even this morning, one of our elders came to encourage us to in our evangelism. As such I am preparing to minister in Western Australia in 6 weeks. i have taught many times over there & there is a great hunger for speakers like yourself, that preach Jesus Christ, crucified, risen & now preparing to return. They are a people so deeply desiring the Holy Spirit to move powerfuly among them. As a result of that desire, the Spirit is starting to breathe on the whole area in the South West corner. it is an exciting place.
So, dear brother in the Lord, be encouraged, that the heart of God will not be disapointed & will have His way, despite the hurdles.
Keep preaching Jesus Christ, risen, active & alive, preparing His people through preaching & teaching that is visionary in its outworkings.

Shibboleth – I think you are referring to James Ryle’s prophecy of the “Sons of Thunder” and the ‘New Music’. I did not come up with this prophecy – and neither is it referring to ‘hard rock’ (It does not specify a style – it just says that a Christian music will come that will instantly grab people’s attention like the Beatles did in the old days). Our own music I guess would be described as “worship” for the most part – with harmony singing from my wife and daughters.
So this was not my prophecy – and “hard rock” is not the thing. But I do hope for a wonderful ‘New Music’ one day that will utterly glorify Jesus on the streets.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t need any help, Jesus said if I be lifted up, I will draw all men to me. The early church had nothing but Christ and He was enough. But they had Him right and we are still struggling to get Egypt out of us, and guess what? Egypt IS us, didn’t we build her, brick by brick? But what does it mean exactly, ‘if I be lifted up’? That’s why we need to keep going and not stay where we are, to find out.
