WARNING: PRAY this PRAYER at YOUR OWN RISK

-extracts by J. Lee Grady.

More than 12 years ago I found myself at a church altar in Orlando, Fla. God had been dealing with me about leaving my comfort zone… As I buried my head in the carpet in that church, I realized God was requiring unconditional surrender. He wanted me to wave a white flag. I knew what I had to say, but it was difficult to form the words. Finally I coughed them up. I said the same thing the prophet Isaiah prayed long ago: Here I am, send me! (see Is. 6:8.)

This is what I call a dangerous prayer. It’s risky because God
immediately takes you up on it. I believe when you utter these
simple words, heaven takes a Polaroid picture of you with your
hands up – and an amazing process begins. He closes in on us
in order to crush our fears and demolish our selfishness…

I wonder what would happen if all of us prayed Isaiah’s prayer with
full sincerity before this year is over. What if you raised your hands
and left all your fears, worries, excuses, stipulations, limitations
and conditions on heaven’s altar – and invited God to use your life
in any way He wants. I dare you to try it.

Just finished listening to Ps. Carter Conlon, Times Sq Church speaking on the tallents, he then sings the following. Very compelling.

Must I go an empty handed
Must I meet my Saviour so
Not one soul with which to greet him
    Must I empty handed go

Must I go an empty handed
    Thus my dear redeemer meet
Not one day of service give him
Lay no trophy at His feet

Must I go an empty handed
Must I meet my Saviour so
Not one soul with which to greet him
    Must I empty handed go

Not at death I shrink or falter
For my Saviour saves me now
But to meet Him empty handed
Thoughts of that now cloud my brow

O the years of sinning wasted
Could I but recall them now
I would give them (all) to my Saviour
At His feet I’d gladly bow

O ye saints, arise be earnest
Up and work while yet t’is day
Ere the night of death over take thee
Strive for souls while still you may

Lord send me…use me..break down every mountain of resistant in me to your will and purpose….. I must preach all the word of life Lord, I must win souls Looooord or I die! Help me Father in the name of the mighty Jesus. Amen!

  3. Twenty-two years ago, I prayed a similar prayer of complete surrender. I won’t give the details, but the key was that I gave God permission to do in my life whatever He knew needed to be done for His will to be done in – and through – my life.

Lee is right. God answered in very short order. My life (and that of my family) was turned on its head and the good Lord started me on a journey on which I still travel.

The first two years which followed were the worst two years of my life in many ways, but I am forever grateful to the Lord for doing what He did. In the years since, there have been many rough times, trials, and disciplining and shaping by the Lord.

Had I known what lay ahead for me, I probably would not have prayed that dangerous prayer. With each trial, however, God’s grace was abundant. What He calls us to, He graces us for.

As I look back, I realize that when I often didn’t know what He was doing, He always knew what He was doing. Part of His work in my life has been to teach me to trust my Father – Who knows what He is doing and Who does all things well.

Him working out His will often assaults the flesh and the carnal nature, so it often brings it’s share of our displeasure and discomfort. Trading those things for the riches of Christ, however, is well worth the trade.

I like the expression of it in a quote I found on a kitchen refrigerator:
“I asked God for strength that I might achieve. I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey. I asked for health that I might do greater things. I was given infirmity that I might do better things. I asked for riches that I might be happy. I was given poverty that I might be wise. I asked for power that I might have the praise of men. I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. I was given life that I might enjoy all things. I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I hoped for. Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among all men, most richly blessed.”

    God bless,
    Wayne

Wow.’” Here I am LORD ,send me”. The exact words I uttered with raised Holy hands all those years ago just before entering the faith voyages of adventure upon the high seas of trusting in God. Today as I walk on the happiness highways and service trails that lead from this world of fear, frustration, bewilderment ,despair and the sorrows of self, I reflect on occasion what I would have missed if I had never uttered them with my Holy hands lifted, and ponder as waves of gratitude wash over me. It,s an adventure that no child of HIS , the great I AM, would want to miss.

  5. What an encouragement Lee’s testimony is. 4 years ago after a crisis of health I cried out to the Lord for direction and understanding. A sincere prayer He promptly answered. He sent a giant of a man of God across my path who not only talked the talk but had clearly walked the walk – it was not head knowledge at all. I again cried out that He would use me. Let me say I am an ordinary, wife, mother and grandmother who had grown up with 3 ‘nevers’ in my mind. Never go to ‘darkest Africa’, never have anything to do with ‘teachers’ and never become a ‘missionary’. It was therefore with fear and trepidation in 2009, and Josh 1 v 9 ringing in my ears, that I found myself alone on a plane to Malawi! It was on my 65th birthday that I preached my first ever message in an African village. Like Lee there was both fear and joy. Since then the fear has gone and the joy has abundantly increased. I now travel yearly to Malawi for 8 weeks at a time, I am teaching His word and labelled a missionary! Hallelujah

  6. It certainly is wonderful to pray, “Lord, here I am, send me.” However, if the prophet Isaiah is any example, then we must also consider the pre-requisites.
Isaiah had already prophesied the word of the Lord in the first five chapters of the book of Isaiah. So he was a fairly well, established prophet before we get to Chapter 6.
But in Chapter 6, in the year that king Uzziah died, he saw the Lord (pre-requisite one).
Many years ago as I was reading those verses, I found myself reading it this way: “In the year that king SELF died, I saw also the Lord …”
It was spontaneous and not part of my natural mind.
Now “Uzziah” does not mean “self.” However, sometimes the Holy Spirit has a way of taking things out of context and putting them into another context.
After Isaiah saw the Lord, he said, “Woe is me! for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.”
There is no record in the book of Isaiah that he had “done” anything “wrong” or said anything “wrong” up to that point.
So his repentance (for so it was) was because he saw the difference between the holiness of God and the filthiness of man (all men). There is absolutely nothing about man that is acceptable to God. That is why Scripture speaks of the first Adam and the last Adam … the first man and the second Man. God never makes anyone or anything “better.” Rather he replaces that which man corrupts.
Isaiah experienced a deep level of repentance because of his Adamic nature, not because of any act or word. That is the level of repentance that is required (pre-requisite 2) to press into the kingdom of God.
Then one of the seraphims laid a live coal from off the altar on the mouth and lips of Isaiah and said that Isaiah’s iniquity (his nature, or self-will) is taken away, and his sin purged. (That is pre-requisite 3). (This is NOT to say that we no longer have a will of our own after becoming a real Christian.)
Only after Isaiah fulfilled those 3 pre-requisites was he sent forth by the Lord … to do what???
To “make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed …”
So Isaiah’s commission was not to go out and “save” the world or any of the nice things that we would expect.
My, my, my! We Christians just LOVE to take the nice sounding words out of context and bypass those things which we do not care for. A cafeteria line is very nice … we can just pick and choose what WE want.
By the way, the above is NOT intended to be judgmental or critical in any way about any Christian. Just an observation for your consideration.
I have received a very lengthy word about all of the above in case anyone wants the full version.
    Be blessed!

  7. Just as hard, I believe, is when you pray that prayer on different ministries that are burning in your heart and God says ‘absolutely not’…..wait…..for about 35 years…..stay on your secular job. Now that’s a killer. Eventually you give up all dreams and God begins to show you all the falsehood and snares of ‘churchianity’ that you would have been caught up in….scary. God’s been preparing many for this reason in the last days effort to reach the ‘church’ and thereby begin reaching the lost with the ‘whole truth’ of the gospel which has been twisted for 1700 years now. God bless.

  8. “Here am I Lord, send Me” begins with days, weeks and months and even years in the prayer closet in the Presence of the Holy One seeking to be like Him. Many go otherwise and are powerless and often fail and don’t make it. Isaiah was in the temple in the presence of the Holy One where he looked up and saw the majesty of Him and found something worthy to be willing to die for. WE WANT TO LIVE FOR CHRIST BUT ARE WE WILLING TO DIE FOR HIM? Anything less, and don’t bother to go.

  9. We were missionaries for many years and saw many people *crash and burn* out there, who were simply not called or prepared. The idea of being a missionary had a romantic kind of pull, but the reality can be very different. You have to KNOW that you are called. The key word here is surrender. If we lived surrendered lives, we could change the world, starting in our own Jerusalem. If God leads us further into Judea and Samaria and the uttermost parts, than so be it. Surrender and obedience….

  10. PS Much of what North American/western missionaries now bring as their message is doing more harm than good. Often the native workers had depth, surrender, courage and anointing. We often cringed when foreigners came to visit with their version of God’s message.

Encouraging to hear of the fear and comfort zone, have been to the edge a few times, Take me over the edge Lord, a life without the limits i put up in fear and mistrust. Amen

  12. Sheeja John Nov 23rd 2011

Seeing many mighty men falling into disgrace, I cried to God saying, “I do not want position, name nor fame. I want Your Presence. I will serve those who serve you”. And from then He was in the process of educating me. He broke me, and taught me that when I am weak, then I am strong. He taught me to be a servant and do things for Him joyfully. He taught me what it meant for Christ Jesus to leave the heavenly glory and become a human, being obedient to the point of death on the cross at the hands of His very own creation.

  13. Interesting, I sense some of these comments about missionaries doing more harm than good are perhaps pointed at some of my comments. Let me say that my life is totally His no matter what, I am not afraid to die for Him, though I don’t like the idea! And having been trained and encouraged by a true man of God I do not bring ‘ear tickling’ messages. Putting things in words I acknowledge can be awkward as they can be read in so many different lights. What I have written is not in self-defense – He alone knows my heart – but the team I work with there are the same; it is the pure word of God with a passionate desire to see lives changed and glorifying their Lord and Master.

  14. hello, the message of that article is wonderful; a joyful call to abandonment, missions, gospel proclaiming, disciplemaking, obedience, sacrifice, love and devotion to the Lord. I love Brainerd, his story (his diary/biography)and he is my favorite “inspirational Christian” outside of the apostles’ adventures in the book of Acts. That said, unless i am mistaken, is it not true that that particular verse (in context) is really the prophet accepting the call of the Lord to go to GODS PEOPLE, particularly the leaders, to blast them with the truth of the indictment of the Lord on their apostacy? God also sends prophets to His own people, especially the leaders…. but in the case of this verse, it is an example of “Christian traditions” making it about missions to the lost. He sends His witnesses to the lost world, He also sends witnesses to “the Church”. In Isaiah 6 the Lord in v9-13 is talking about who Isaiah is going to talk to (v9″this people”= His people) and what he has to say to them…. it’s indictments and warnings and they don’t listen.. all the way til they are taken captive to Babylon. Just sayin.
    love

  15. John Fawcett,

I would be very interested in hearing the message where Pastor Carter Conlon sings the song that you mentioned. It is very powerful when Pastor Conlon starts to sing after he preaches his message. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is so strong.

I love this holy man of God. Right now I’m doing a Beth Moore study “A Heart Like His.” As I hear Pastor Conlon preach, I see the heart of Jesus.

(I’ve tried searching on my own for the message you told us about, but was unsuccessful.)

Could you please provide a link to the message or tell us where you found it and the name of the sermon?

    Thanks!

  16. Penny, I’m not sure that any comments were directed toward you. But I have heard African pastors complain that “Western” Christianity is coming in like a flood to Africa. I believe they were alarmed and rejecting the “Health, Wealth and Prosperity” doctrine and more recently the “Purpose Driven” teaching.

I’m on the “Understand the Times” email list and have been following Roger Oakland’s updates on his recent trip to Africa. It has been very eye opening for me.

Penny, continue to minister Jesus Christ to others, as the Lord guides you. Keep up the good work!

If you had a most important job that needed doing,a job that many lives depended on,where people’s lives were at imminent risk.would you send a stranger.Would you trust someone who hardly knows you to go and complete the task.Would you put the lives of your OWN CHILDREN in their hands?

Would you risk your children’s lives to someone not full prepared and especially chosen by you?Would you entrust another person to choose the right candidate and to prepare him for you?

Would you not PERSONALLY select the very best you can find and prepare him yourself personally?

Would you not want him to have as much knowledge understanding and wisdom as you?

Would it be important that he had complete unconditional love for your children.Would you want him to love your children as much as you do?

Would he have to be as courageous as a young lion,as wise as an old owl and as gentle as a kitten?

Would you interview people who came forward and said,”Me,me,send me”?

  19. Hi Trudy, thank you so much for your encouragement. It is true that the prosperity gospel etc blares forth from cafe TV in many places in Malawi. Thank you for the website – I’ve had a quick look and will go back there. Pastor Nelson’s reply to what was his greatest need speaks volumes – the Word of God. Part of my time back in UK is raising money to buy Bibles in the local language, Bikes to help the pastors cover their 120 mile parish and more recently solar lamps to enable and encourage those who can read, to read the word of God to others in the evenings. Thank you again – I love the Lord with a passion and will continue to minister His love and His Word as long as I am able. God Bless you.

My friend Carole Hale has traveled the world as a Missionary from Africa to China. She was a housewife with no means for a minisrty, Aba put it on her heart she was to travel the world spreading the word, she submitted and did. Thirty some years later he put on her heart to write a book on all she went through and how in every instance that she put the ministry in his hands he came through! She wrote the book and it is called,” Miracles and Milstones,” True Missionary Story for God’s Glory, it is so good and so true to Aba’s heart to spread the word to his children. Also Hedi and Rolland Baker put out a good news letter of their Missionary work with children in Africa and how so many healing have happened in their ministry. Aba is working with me on submission to him to be kind and show mercy as he does, big task but we must prepare ourselves for the return of our Messiah Yashua. Much shalom in Yashua, may he open our hearts, give us eyes to see and ears to hear. What is coming will not be good, we have to be under his mighty hand for what can he not do?

  21. Kelling Nov 24th 2011

Also I forgot to mention my friend Jimmie Black and his musical ministry, go to his site and give his music a listen it is some of the most blessed worship music I have ever heard, as I play it my spirit is lifted up as songs of praise to our Aba, Heavenly Father has blessed this music for sure. Shalom in Shar Shalom, Yashua the Prince of peace.

  22. I wasn’t meaning to criticize anyone here who has *gone* to the mission field. My experience with most of the missionaries we worked with, was that they were some of the most awesome Godly people I have ever met. It is true however that in the last thirty years the Christian message particularly in the west can be quite warped and *me* centred and spreading that unsoundness can only do damage. If we preach the real gospel and are willing to die or pay whatever price, God will use us wherever He calls us to be.

  23. Hi Penny, I can see that you love Jesus. It’s plain to see! :-)

The past couple of months, the Lord has given me a burden for Africa.

In fact, for a little while I attended a local church where the pastor and members were originally from South Africa. I remember the pastor telling us that when he lived in Africa he was always hungry. Here in Canada he goes to the fridge and cupboard whenever he wants to.

There were many things that spoke to me in Roger Oakland’s report, but I was truly devastated with the report that one of the pastors–our brother in Christ–”described that they only have enough food to eat one meal a day. They try to eat in the evening so they don’t go to bed hungry.”

There is a poverty that we in the West know nothing about.

Yesterday I attended Bible study and learned something that I had not seen before. Our teacher did a comparison on PowerPoint between the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew and the one in Luke. He had them in columns side by side, so you could immediately see the difference. The teacher had the two complete texts up, but since I can’t do columns I will just have to do it this way–here is just a sample:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:3)
“Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.” (Luke 6:20)

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)
“Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied.” (Luke 6:21)

The teacher asked us if there was a difference. I immediately responded that the Matthew text dealt with the spiritual and the Luke text dealt with the physical. The teacher then went on to confirm this by pointing out the “woes” in the Luke text, thus demonstrating that there was no way you could spiritualize the Luke text.

“But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort.” (Luke 6:24)

“Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.” (Luke 6:25)

I wonder how many of us in the West really “get it.” Yes, we are our brother’s keeper. Sadly, I think that often our prayers are more along the lines of “Here am I, bless me” instead of “Here am I, send me.”

May our Father, in His mercy, continue His good work in us and change our hearts so that they conform to the image of His dear Son.

  24. yabuts Nov 24th 2011

How about all the people who have pryed this prayer and nothing happened? (raises hand) do not be shy we are not all supersaints and were not all born to be paul someone has to wipe noses.

Jesus was destined to die at the hands of men. From the moment of his birth he was destined to die.Is that what God wanted? Was that God’s desire?Did God choose for his son to die?

The Father knew it would happen and how it would unfold but does that mean that God planned for his own son to die on the cross of suffering?

God’s intention in sending his son was that men might be saved.
Saved by LISTENING TO,SEEING and FOLLOWING his son.

Those who did, those who do, are saved.

No it was not God’s desire for his son to be crucified at the hands of men yet he knew it would happen.God knew that his son would suffer distress and persecution at the hands of men and that his son would never deny the truth. He knew that Jesus would preach and teach truth regardless of all opposition.he knew that Jesus would never, ever,be swayed from his divine mission. He would be fearless in the face of fear, resolute and true to God’s word and walk to his own death when the time came.

This is what it is to have a mission from God.Missionary is not a word in God’s vocabulary.God calls his men on a mission Apostles.
Apostles are alike to Jesus Christ in every way. They willingly walk to their deaths rather that deny truth. They are ALL persecuted and often as not killed.

Apostles never say “send me”.They do what they are told,do as commanded, and do it resolutely to the death.

  30. John the Baptist the 2nd Nov 24th 2011

Dear LORD, Send me wherever you so choose.

  31. John the Baptist the 2nd Nov 24th 2011

In spiritual matters ,Oftentimes, not always, but oftentimes, people teach best what they themselves have yet to learn.

  32. Derek,
    You are spot on!!
I think the sending of His Son was to show us how really wicked we are, in that we are greedy and power hungry, and blood thirsty to have our way.
I think He died because of us and our wickedness which caused Him to thus become our Savior.

As for being sent– I do not recall, and could be wrong but I do not ever recall anyone asking to be sent, as it usually leads to death.

I am also thing that when one is called, and they say here I am, that it is also probably understood as
    HEAR I AM–
In other words Hear or listen to the I Am that I Am.
    Just my thoughts.
    blessings to you

  33. …Praise you Jesus, thank you for your Light..

Jesus came to show us how it’s done.Show us how to do it.

When he said follow me he meant FOLLOW ME.

  38. Jordan Shepherd Nov 25th 2011

Devon – yes, I understand it may be a very long time before the Lord appoints us to a specific task. He may even spend most of our lives preparing us, just for that season (and for this time). I too have been spared from some of the falshood, just waiting for His yes.

Also, there is a moment by moment obedience in the here and now. I once remarked to my mother in law just how is it, so many people I know have done the missions trip thing with Church groups, yet, when I speak of sharing the Gospel right here at home, in the neighbourhood, at work, on the street, in the city, wherever and whenever, it seems like I am speaking a foreign language. I said to her, I will probably never go overseas to do the very thing I love. She said, I don’t think God can afford to let you go overseas, he needs you here. Now that made me laugh.

Val S – I think you are right, there is a romantic pull to missions, perhaps even a touch of glamour in it.

I guess, those who indulge, God can still use and also utilise the experience to shape and mold people such as these. A friend with 8 children came back from a mission field once and told me he felt more like a tourist and that the money he used for travel could have been better spent on the needy and the Gospel. God has all the answers though and is able to work His will and purpose through those who take such steps, to those who love Him.

Praise The Lord, this is timely for me just within days of leaving on a journey prophecied over me a few years back!

A Prophet said I’d be going out West to be in Ministry with some Mexicians! I had no idea how or if it would come about. And I didn’t even much care for it. So I did not try to make it happen!

Last week The Spirit gave me the scripture of Jesus saying Pray to The Lord 0f The Harvest! For the fields are already white. So Thursday I leave in The Spirit 0f The Lord to harvest that which others have sown! Pray for me please….

  40. Derek Hale Nov 26th 2011

Just never, ever forget who is the Lord of the harvest.Harvesters often do.

We are never more than a pair of his hands.

“If you think that you are better than the donkey that I

  42. Derek Hale Nov 26th 2011

Thanks for that Michelle.Donkeys are workhorses but they can be very wayward and rebellious.

I can personally relate to that.

  43. Michelle Nov 26th 2011

    Also, this from the Lord

What the self righteous have to look forward to is going
through the fire without My Spirit living inside of them. My People go through the fire as a living sacrifice unto Me, and the Holy Spirit abides in them to enable them to come through victorious. To enable them to overcome all thoughts and voices that would exalt themselves even with the motive of being useful unto Me.

    I will keep you.
    I will be your help.
    I will sustain you.
    I will be your provision.
You can do all things through Me.

Be JOYFUL that you have been called according to Our
Father’s purpose. David desired to know the Father’s heart. He went after it through much purification.

  44. Shazza Nov 26th 2011

God says “go into all the world and share the Good News…” whether we do it to Mexicans or Eskimo’s does it matter? We are to go out to ‘all the world’ starting with our back doorstep. I think we can get too overly spiritual over these matter. Let’s just obey His clear word and that will never lead us astray.

  45. Derek Hale Nov 26th 2011

Joy is a delight,an absolute delight to have.Happiness come and goes,it relies on certain conditions.Joy holds good through all, sunshine and storm, light and darkness, calm and tempest, peace and tribulation, pain and suffering, praise and persecution.

Joy is a most wonderful delight to own.

  46. RevelationWriter Nov 26th 2011

    Yes Derek,
I accept that as a confirmation, reminder.

When we step outside then it is SELF that took us there.I suspect that SELF will always be around somewhere.Self is very tricky, that’s what I find.he hides and morphs. My self is a shape shifter.he can change smoothly and gradually from one thought to a different thought.

Self is the master of deception.I have been convinced of Scripture understanding that came only from self.I have excused bad behaviour and explained it as Spirit fruits when my understanding was nothing more that self.

Satan works through Self.He tempts is through self and if we give in then it is self that sins.

The battle goes on to the very end.Only the winner of the race will receive the winners crown.God say’s that.He first said it through Apostle Paul.

    Jordan Shepherd,
You mentioned in a previous post that you have written a booklet on Evangelism. Would it be possible to obtain a copy of this work ?

    God bless,
    David Marsh.

  50. Yes, I know. People are used to just tossing out a prayer in the air, not realizing the affect it may generate.

Count me as one who now knows what prayer does when you ask, “Lord, use me.” What takes place before that, makes many ask, “Lord why did you allow that to happen in my life?”

  51. Keeping it Real Nov 27th 2011

Hi all, Great Article. The prayer is how our lives should be led (preaching to myself), however, please remember that you are saying ‘send me or use me” when you surrender daily and ask His will in your work place, school, sports club etc. Why do people think you have to go to Africa or Asia etc. Your neighbours and colleagues are part of the harvest or mission field, not just the 3rd world. That is full time ministry in the market place. Pulpit ministry is for training and equipping to send all out to proclaim the Gospel. So we all are full time ministers of the Gospel. By the way, how would the prechristians be reached and bills paid if all worked IN the church or as “missionaries abroad”?
Also, I am sorry, but I am tired of Christians bad mouthing my God by saying God tricked them. God is not a man that He should lie. The devil is the deceiver not the King of Kings. Jesus is the TRUTH. If you pray or do something without thinking through the ramifications properly, please don’t call God a deceiver because He answered your prayer in a way you didn’t consider. My God is a good God whose ways are higher than ours. I know what this person meant but God does not operate through deception in any way, shape or form. We so quickly make statements and don’t think of how a prechristian would interpret that, plus I reiterate, it is bad mouthing God. (Preaching to Me too OK).
Nice comments re pray closet and being called.

  52. Jordan Shepherd Nov 27th 2011

Amen, yes, “Keeping it real”, there is a mission field right here in our back yard, so to speak. I implore others to speak of Christ on the sporting field, shopping centre, work – everywhere. I am amazed at how so many are hungry and thirsty in their spirit. THe harvest is indeed ripe, has been for years. THe ministers of reconciliation, the ambassadors of Christ, the royal priesthood, holy nation, should be praying and bearing testimony of Christ – here, in Jerusalem, so to speak, and not just focus on the outer parts of the globe. Let’s join the dots together and not make evangelism a fragmented, segmented, exclusive and specialised ministry that is isolated and quaratined, belonging to a few. Proclamation of the Gospel is the right and privelege of ALL BELIEVERS, young and old, weak and strong, educated and uneducated, from all walks of society.

David Marsh – I will give you my first copy of the booklet. It is a work in progress. Happy to share my thoughts though via email. What affected my momentum in writing the booklet which I began early this year was the burning question of what really is a biblical Church, as opposed to the traditions of men. I was intuitively making the connection that certain practices within establised traditional fellowships were actually a hinderance not only to the true Gospel but also the equipping of the saints for this work of (evangelism) ministry. Then the Lord showed me a range of things that directly evidences a biblical Church. What is fortuituous is that I had experienced this 18 years ago among thirty Christians, none of whom including myself were aware that they were actually meeting in this way. Only in retrospect could I now see this, in a purely non-academic, pragmatic sense, as revealed by the Lord in His timing. THat is my glimpse and connection (plus some testimonies this year) of how this ordained of God type fellowship operates.

My journey since last December has been enriched with the study, observations and reflections upon that topic, which is exciting indeed. You see, I could never separate evangelism and discipleship. Now, having a better understanding on biblical Church, I can see how new believers will be able to not only grow spiritually, but also reproduce after their “own kind.” THis makes me excited indeed. THree prayers I prayed during this last month are: 1/ Lord show me clearly how to understand the book of revelation (The next day he directed me exactly, at least where to begin, if not in its entirety), and this has implications for all believers today and the responsibility to address what kind of Christian ought you to be, 2/ Lord please reconfirm my understanding of the biblical Church (The next day he directed me also in this), 3/ Lord, please lead me to people who are on fire for you but who can clearly see throught the pitfalls of emergent, egocentric and entertainment brand Christianity (The next day, yesterday in fact, He did exactly that).

Let us cry out to God, but remember, you get what you ask for.

  53. Derek Hale Nov 28th 2011

If we ask for what we need then God will provide it as long as it is asked in ‘good faith’.Asking for what we WANT is not appropriate, yet I believe that God sometimes grants us what we want even though he knows it should never have been asked for.

Everything we get comes to us from God,the good, the bad and the ugly,so to speak.I am reminded of Job who had all he could have hoped for yet it was then all taken away from him. This was a great test from God and Job messed up big time.He came back from the brink and was saved none the less. All he had previously was returned to him,and more.

We must be careful what we ask for because we may get it.

  55. Hi Jordan, Would you please discuss your thoughts on the biblical church and the book of Revelation? I would be interested in learning more about this.

  56. Keeping it Real Nov 28th 2011

Hi again, Jordan Shepherd, are you in Jerusalem? I ask as I am heading to Jordan then Israel before the year is out.

Also, Derek Hale, which version of the bible do you read? Mine is pretty clear that 1) from Genesis to Revelation God is revealing His Son and the saving Grace of His blood. His intention was always to send Him to the cross, Jesus proclaims it many times as do the prophets etc of the old covenant. Also, satan challenged God that Job’s piety was because of what God gave him. So God allowed satan to harrass Job and take everything from him to prove that Job would not turn away from God. God did not punish or take one thing from Job, it was satan. Job proved faithful and demonstarted God’s “knowing” that Job would not curse God and remain faithful. God as always, restored more than was stolen (twice as much to Job) when he prayed for his sinful friends. God would only accept their sacrifices if they came through righteous.

  57. Keeping it Real, thank you for saying what the Bible actually does teach on these matters. As far as which version DH uses, I don’t know if he will say. If you read enough of his posts, however, it would be easy to come to the conclusion that he has created his own version – one which says whatever he wants it to say at any particular moment (irrespective of what the real Scriptures say). Even when he “quotes” it, he often “conveniently” leaves out words or changes wording to suit the point he is endeavouring to make.

  58. Derek Hale Nov 28th 2011

    KIR & Wayne,

Now let’s all get real.God allows Satan to harass us all, that’s what Satan does best,it’s called temptation.Job had serious doubts through his tribulation yet his faith held as you say.Satan works for our Father.Satan was created by our father, you must know that God created EVERYTHING.You mention Genesis,if you know the book of Genesis you will know that.

Now who do you think was behind the temptations that Jesus suffered? His perfection was tested by God.We are all tested by God.Jesus never, ever failed the test.He overcame temptation.Job did too,we all have to in the end.Our Lord Jesus Christ tells us himself,”You must overcome as I have overcome”.

As for sacrifice well we are all required to offer sacrifice to our Father. We must deny self. This is our acceptable sacrifice.Job was not rescued until he did.Read the book of Job if you do not believe me.It matters not which version of the Bible we read the message God sends is shown to us by the Holy Spirit.

You know Wayne you write to others about me as if I cannot read what you have to say.Your games are really obvious Wayne.I find it very hard to like you God forgive me.

Dear Trudy – I would be happy to, but do not want to take up valuable space on this forum, as it is a little off topic. Please email me on: jordanshepherd@hotmail.com
One anecdote, in 1986, I read in a local newspaper: “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the traditions of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ” (Colossians 2:8). I read this four years before I was saved. I had never been to a Church and never heard about Christ. But in my heart, I knew one thing; I was deeply touched by those words and immediately memorised them because I knew that they were profound and needed to be learned. I looked for more material by “Mr Colossians” in the local newspaper, but I never found them. FOur years later I was saved. But only recently did I recall that those words were etched into my spirit, 24-25 years ago. Two things served as a catalyst to crystalise my thinking on the subject of biblical church versus traditions of men: the experience of biblical fellowship (many years ago) and the caution of man’s tradition four years before being saved. God prepares us. Look forward to hearing from you.

Keeping it Real – Hi there, not in Jerusalem, just arrived earlier this year with my family in a town called Albury, three hours north of Melbourne, after residing in Canberra. May the Lord bless you and protect you in your travels to Jordan and Jerusalem and direct your paths, fill you with His Spirit and grant you boldness as you bear witness to the messiah and Lord.

You got that backward. What we think God is telling us must line up with scripture. It is important to stick with the tried and true KJV. It yielded better fruit than NIV that ushered in seeker friendly and prosperity doctrines.

Accepting what someone says without scripture proofs and prayer even if much of it sounds true causes false perceptions that lead off a cliff without a parachute.

Part of the opportunity in life is to seek the truth. God takes His time revealing things. The problems arise within the Body of Christ due to each member being on their own ledge of learning with their own language and gifts. Two people may hold the same truth but explain it in ways that the other interprets as false.

Which is the reason Paul said to bear with one another. And Jesus said to look after that splinter in our own eye. We might be surprised who is sitting next to us at the wedding feast.

  64. John the Baptist the 2nd Nov 28th 2011

We are forgiven as we forgive others. He writes about u because he -knows- you read what he has to say, and is desirous of ‘getting your goat” and has done so very effectively as some of your communication bears witness to.
In Our Heavenly Father’s Kingdom and in his army there exists authority and rank. I outrank you both in his Kingdom and army. I am not proud of this fact, nor am I ashamed of it. I bring you both in my petitions before All-Mighty God. If you are both desirous of moving on to the next glory ( The great I AM moves us from glory to glory), I order you both to bring each other in your petitions to All-Mighty God. As always, you both may choose to either honor or dishonor my orders.

  65. Derek, you said: “You know Wayne you write to others about me as if I cannot read what you have to say.Your games are really obvious Wayne.I find it very hard to like you God forgive me.”

I am well aware, when I write, that you can read what is written. It does not matter to me what you think about me. I do not write merely for your benefit, although it is my prayer that perhaps by some miracle some light might penetrate the darkness in which you live.

The Scriptures warn believers that there will be a proliferation of false teachers and prophets in the last days. Matthew 7, as well as warning believers, instructs us that by their fruits we shall know them. The fruit you produce in your writings is a false fruit.

You persistently twist Scriptures, spouting your own opinions and doctrines, claiming they are God’s.
Additionally, you have endeavoured to deceive the readers of this site by trying to conceal your true identity.
Andrew, himself, speaking on this issue said, “Derek Hale who has been warned for coming on here spouting heresy and also attacking and belittling people – totally against the rules. He insists he will not be stopped and will not accede to our requests for him to go and find another place to post. ”

He and numerous others have pointed out your aberrant teachings, many times asking for you to be corrected by the Scriptures – which you persistently have refused to do. (Although, I admit that in the last few articles your posts have not been rife with your usual personal attacks and accusations upon those who confront your false teachings as you previously were prone to do).

Instead, you and your deluded followers continue to flood this site with your perversions of what the Bible clearly teaches. You even pervert the meanings of words. (By the way, MUM, it’s sad you seem unable to distinguish the water of the Word from sewage water).

A perfect example of this is seen in the previous string on “Signs and Wonders.” Throughout that string you persistently argue that believers are not to fear God. Even though others have pointed out that one of the legitimate meanings of fear (in Hebrew and Greek as well as English) is “to reverence’ or “respect,” you insist on ignoring that in order to promote your heretical doctrine that a believer should NOT “fear God.” This, inspite of the fact that both the Old and New Testaments give scores of commands and exhortations for believers to fear the Lord.

You obviously are even unable to recognize the contradictions in your own writings as evidenced by your short post on the last string:
“Fear is defined in the Greek as fear, dread, terror, reverence.
    (strongs5401) & fearing,reverent,afraid.(strongs 3373).

“Do any of these apply when we LOVE?

“Fear is opposed to love. The opposite of love is fear.

“Hate is a manifestation of fear, one of many.

“We cannot love whilst in fear.Love is a thing in action. The
fearful are incapable of loving action.

    “PERFECT LOVE DRIVES OUT FEAR”

You state in this post, and rightly so, that a valid meaning of “fear” is “reverence.” Yet you contrarily teach (when taken in context of the whole discussion) that fearing God is opposed to love. On the contrary, Scripture teaches that to love God is to fear God (in the sense of reverence – not in the sense of terror or alarm). Even common sense (which obviously isn’t so common) dictates that true love for a person (such as a spouse) is evidenced by reverence (see Eph.5:33; 1 Pet.3:2 [AMP]).

Several articles ago, I warned the readers of this site about your heretical and corrupt teachings. The fruit you produce is deceptive and corrupt. People should be warned to examine the fruit and beware.

I’m sure you and others will argue that SOME of what you have said and taught on this site which are Biblical and true. I will not argue that. That is part of the deception. If everything was completely false, then it would not be deception would it?

I have a rat poison which is 99.995% good food. It is 0.005% poison. However, it is that little false “food” which kills the rat “in just one feeding.” Percentage-wise your writings contain far more than 0.005%, but can be no less destructive to those readers of this site who don’t possess the ability, on their own, to discriminate between the good and the corrupt.

I have examined much of your writings (including the aliases you’ve written under, such as “333,” “Adrian” “Derek” on this site and other aliases on other sites).

Concerning the reason why you write and express as you do, I do not have a conclusion. Your writings seem to indicate that at the very least you are careless in your handing of the Word as well as the English language and often with your rudimentary lexical use of the original languages. There also seems to be some indication that you may either be bi-polar (manic-depressive) or demonically influenced. It may merely be that you fancy yourself to be a “teacher” and have not put the necessary work into being a good one (such as sitting under the teaching of those who are proven firm in the faith, formal study of English, Greek, Hebrew, theology, and training in solid hermeneutics and exegesis of the Word – not to mention the benefit of being taught how to teach).

Whatever the reason, you need help, my friend. Although I don’t care about what you think of me, I do care about you. It is not only that I care about other readers that they be warned of corrupt fruit. I care about you and write these things with the hope that you can come to the humility needed to look into the spiritual mirror of the Word and the Spirit and allow God to show you the truth about yourself.

It would be a marvellous thing if the Lord would bring you to the place where you would humbly and rightly divide the Word of Truth. It would indicate that God had done a deep work in you to mould you more into the image of Christ.

I am truly grieved that you consider me doing what God has commanded me to do (warning, rebuking, teaching, and correcting and rightly dividing the Word) to be “games.” I have endeavoured to correspond with you via private email as you requested me to do in previous strings. Yet, you refuse to respond by the same means, instead bringing your tirades, accusations, and false teachings back to this site. So, if you want it to be public, then public it is.

May God bring you to the place where your heart and attitude is changed aright.

    In the love of Christ,
    Wayne

  66. JB2:
So, you fancy yourself to be some sort of general in God’s army who can “order” your subordinates around, do you?

Perhaps you should prayerfully study Matthew 20:25-28 which says: “But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”

Oh, that’s right! I forgot that in the previous string you violently opposed the concept of “servanthood.” I guess the alternative is to make oneself a general and order people around.

    Good luck with that.

Thank you for wishing me good in the performance of my duties. Luck has nothing to do with it. Only power from God.

To understand what sacrifice means for us read,

    Proverbs 21:3,Phl4:18 & Rom12:1.

    Romans 12:1,

1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

This is not possible for natural man to do.Natural man must be denied. Our master tells us so.DENY SELF he says.

  69. Derek Hale Nov 28th 2011

I don’t follow Andrew Strom and you know well enough that I do not follow you Wayne.

I follow Jesus Christ as instructed to by him.

You can’t half waffle on Wayne,

  70. Derek Hale Nov 28th 2011

You pick out reverence from the Greek meaning whilst ignoring the full meaning Wayne.it seems to suit you to often do this with God’s word.

You select verses and even longer passages that suit your own chosen understanding whilst ignoring other passages that show your understanding to be false. When I point out these other passages you accuse me of twisting God’s word. You must surely know that ALL of God’s words must be considered and understood collectively Wayne,

I invited you in personal E-mail to share understanding of Scripture, you declined to reply to me on that suggestion.

let’s go for it Wayne,at the risk of being dominant to others let’s share what we know Wayne.let’s see what the Holy Spirit has shown you and I.Where shall we start, will you go first or shall I.

Lets drop the personal hostility Wayne and debate like the mature adults we are supposed to be.

  71. Derek Hale Nov 28th 2011

I have never used an ‘alias’ Wayne never have and never will.

I have been on forums and am still on forums using names and tags.

I am known as Derek,Adrian,Hale(all of which are my names, given to me soon after birth by my parents).

I have also used Trumpeter,Watchman,333 and one or two other tags which I cannot immediately bring to mind.

You know full well that it is common for people to used tags to identify themselves on web sites. Are they ALL hiding something Wayne,is everyone devious and deceptive? OR IS IT JUST ME WAYNE?

You have me as a messenger of Satan.Shame on you, shame on you.

You use the tag Pastor,a tag you have also chosen yourself.I do not think of you as Satanic as a result, merely misguided and with false understanding.

  72. Kelling Nov 28th 2011

Dear fighter guys; read this and see if it increases your knowledge of the Scriptures! http://www.messianicart.com/chazak/Handbook.pdf
Put on some Jimmie Black and praise Yah!

  73. DEREK:
The dictionary defines “alias” as an assumed name. So, if you’ve been given the legal names of “Derek, Adrian, and Hale” were you also given the legal names of “Trumpeter, Watchman, 333, etc.” or are they assumed names or pseudonymns?

However, Derek, if you wish to call your pseudonymns (aliases) “tags” (thereby absolving yourself by changing the definition), so be it.

Will you answer the readers of this site this question, “Why do you use so many ‘tags’ on this site, if not for the purpose of hiding the identity of the one writing?” Is it to make it appear as though others are writing in support of your heresy and nonsense?
It must keep you busy trying to remember who you’re supposed to be at any given time.

It still still has all the signs of deception, however you wish to spin it.

Have you ever considered a career in politics? You seem to have the characteristics many politicians possess.

As far as me using the “tag” of “pastor Wayne,” it is the only one I have used on this site. “Pastor” is the calling to which my Master has called me. “Wayne” is my legal name. I don’t see any hint of deception in any of that. If you consider such to be “misguided and with false understanding” you are entitled to your opinion but I can see no legitimate support for it – Biblical or otherwise. I suppose, as Jesus said, “wisdom is justified by her children.” (Matt. 11:19)

As far as debating goes, I invite you to come back to my personal email and answer the questions I last sent to you there (which to date you have refused to do and have chosen instead to return to this site to debate the issues publicly).

I will not debate a fool, as your words and actions demonstrate you to be. I will, however, continue to reveal your deceptive fruit if you insist on trying to propagate them on this site.

As far as “[me] hav[ing] [you] as a messenger of Satan” goes, I did not say so, but merely offered it as a possible explanation for the perverting of Scriptural and its truth which you do. I really would prefer to believe it is ignorance and carelessness which would be at the root of your aberrant teachings. However, you have consistently rejected solid correction from God’s Word (not just from me, but numerous others as well). In addition, you have not respected the rules of this site, nor Andrew as the owner and moderator. And you use numerous pseudonymns (oops! sorry ‘tags’). I ask you – are these actions more after the character of Christ or the character of Satan?

By the way, from the last article, are you still insisting that the Apostle John is the Apostle Paul? Was it the “jesus” you follow who instructed you and gave you this “understanding?”

I’m praying for you, my friend, and would encourage other readers of this site to do the same. As I said previously, you need help, and unless you get it, I fear for you and your future.

    In the love of Christ,
    Wayne

    Search Results for -”fool”-
    Bible Search (Help)

    NIV Concordance for -”fool”-

    “fool”
occurs 87 times in 83 verses in the NIV
    Page 4 / 4 exact matches (Mat 5:22 – 2Cr 12:11)

Mat 5:22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

Seeing as you call me a fool Wayne it is timely to remind you of our Fathers words about this.

if you continue in this sin then I will share many other words from Father about fools and how to identify them.

Please stop messing with me Wayne.

  75. Kelling Nov 29th 2011

    See Proverbs 27-28 guys.

  76. DEREK:
For Matt. 5:22 to apply in this situation you would first have to demonstrate two things:
    (1) that you indeed are my brother, which I have some serious doubts about; and
    (2) that my use of the word was with the meaning of the Greek word “moros” used in Matthew 5:22 and not with the meaning of the Greek word, aphron, also translated “fool,” and used in such passages as Luke 12:20 and 1 Cor. 15:36.

To save you from further embarassing yourself, the meaning of “moros” is “empty-headed, stupid, dull.”
The meaning of “aphron” is “foolish, inconsiderate, rash.” If you wish to create your own meanings for these words or twist them to be interchangeable, then you would also confine the Apostle Paul to the same fate as me as he calls a fellow believer “fool” (or “foolish one” depending upon the translation), because of his ignorance and lack of understanding in 1 Cor. 15:36.
Would you also condemn Christ to the same fate as He labelled others with that in Luke 11:40? Or the Father as Christ claimed the Father called the farmer in Luke 12:20 “fool”?
And to what fate would you assign Christ for calling the Pharisees “moros” in Matt. 23:17 & 19?

If you wish to demonstrate you are a “moros” rather than an “aphron,” by using a plethora of words to give your pseudo-teaching on what you think God says about fools, then be my guest.

By the way, why do you ignore the questions I posed to you in the previous post? Are you unable to answer the questions? Or don’t you like the answers the questions require? Or is it just easier to misdirect readers’ attention by throwing out accusations instead? Interesting tactics, indeed. You really should consider a career in politics.

  77. Teshuva Nov 29th 2011

In the Peshitta the word Raca, means to spit, or I spit in your face. very offensive and one is taken to the judgment of the congregation for this offense.
However the word fool, is a common word and not offensive but the word in Peshitta is lilla, which means
nursemaid, coward, woman, and attacks the character of the individual.
Even if we leave it as fool, it is making a grave remark toward a brother.

  78. KELLING:
Thank you for you link to Moshe Yoseph Koniuchowsky’s paper. While the focus of his paper appears to be for the purpose of helping Messianic Jews deal with those Jewish organizations to turn them away from Jesus Christ, he does present traditional Jewish understanding and principles of Scriptural hermeneutics. I haven’t had the opportunity to delve into his writings in detail, but he seems to present the principles of hermeneutics the Lord led me into – albeit from a perspective I hadn’t known about before. His paper certainly warrants further indepth consideration beyond my initial perusal.
Again, thank you for bringing this work to my attention.

    Blessings,
    Wayne

    W. Your guesstimate of my rank was very flattering but grossly over estimated. My rank in the Kingdom of God is this,”Least in the Kingdom”. Your statement saying I was violently opposed to serventhood is false. As a matter of fact, I find it a pure pleasure to be a servant to every servant, slave or bondservant of Christ’s, as much pleasure as it is to be a friend to every friend of Christ’s.
Our enemy and his gang are taking inordinate perverse pleasure in both of you. You both are offering him what he finds to be pure delight. Sarcasm has been defined by some as the tearing of the flesh. W. Stop it. You are doing what our enemy desires to do to D.
Both of you stop and desist engaging one another and justifying and rationalizing what you are doing .From here on out both of you stop engaging each other and only pray for one another. I can assure you W. that the Holy Spirit can do what he desires to do with D. without your help. I can assure you D. that the Holy Spirit can do what he desires to do with W. without your help. Or do you both think that the Holy Spirit is not that Powerfull without your selves. And yes, this is an order. As always, You have freewill choice to either honor or dishonor this order . As always, I refer the results or consequences of the honoring or dishonoring of the orders I give as an ambassador of the Kingdom of God to my superiors, because I am not the sharpest tack in the Box. Beware or be blessed.

These words coming from a pastor/leader–very disturbing.
Logos says that if the brother has ought against us when we go to the altar, for us to leave our offering there and go and be reconciled with our brother first, and then come and offer thy gift.

Can I ask please that both Wayne and Derek CEASE this wrangling. It is achieving nothing but strife.

Amen Pastor Wayne, the use of the Hebrew concept of four levels of understanding, Pashat-literal meaning. Remez-hints of somthing deeper, Drash-added understanding, the riddle, parable and Sod-deepest secrets and mysteries, works well for all the Scriptures. Was also interesting on the fool thing as I looked it up in Hebrew concepts and there seems to be five fools types.
    1. The Simple Fool. Pethiy=to be opened up, the simple fool, opens his mind to any passing thought, Proverbs 1:4, 19:25
    2. The Silly Fool. Eviyl= to be perverse, the mouth of the silly fool gets him in trouble. Proverbs 1:7, 27:3
    3. The Sensual Fool. Keciyl=fat, stupid or silly. rejects the wisdom of Yah. Proverbs 10:23,13:19-20, 18:6-7
    4. The Scorning Fool Luwts=to scoff, contempt he has in his heart towards authorities, Proverbs 9:7-8, 13:1, 14:6, 15:2
5.The Steadfast Fool. Naw Bawl= stupid wicked vile person, Totally rejects Yah and his ways. the worse kind of Fool he draws as many people as possible to his evil ways. Psalms 14:1

The cure for the Fool, Esp: 5:15. Proverbs 1:22
Just some thoughts, may Aba open our hearts to his word, may we love one another and treat our brother as we wish to be treated, may he give us eyes to see and ears to hear, may Aba bless each one of you on this site and Andrew to giving people a voice from all backgrounds, amen. I beleive the times will get very hard soon, we have to bow our heads bend our knees and plead to our Heavenly Father for the return of his Son Yashua, Jesus, he is the only way!

While growing up my Dad would argue the opposite of whatever side of the subject I believed. Interesting that I never realized until recently he actually agreed with me on most things. The excersises were meant to practise and solidify the truth.

Seems God’s ways are much the same.

  91. Teshuva Nov 30th 2011

Because there was silence on the blog for a space of time after I wrote that which I did, I pondered to its good.
One thing I can say is that I used to be good a riddling words as bullets and shooting down my opponent to their ruin in a lot of cases. I do not say this bragging now but only to illustrate the fact that words whether good or bad can have life given to them and cause the demise or good of an individual.
There is an idiom of “them are fighting words”.
To discuss the word fool is one thing, to insinuate and or call someone this, is quite another.
We may see no harm in it but it could have an effect on the receiver of them.
When God plants His seed in an individual, it reproduces after His kind as all seeds do.
We tend to murder with our lips and then ask for revival, not realizing that bitter water and sweet water cannot come forth from the same fountain.
His seed is said to bring forth rivers of LIVING water.
Pro. 4:23 says to keep our heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.
Matt 12:24 says that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
All I can say is I was led of the Spirit to be a part of the bucket brigade to put out the fire of a tongue full of iniquity before it set on fire the course of nature.
If I have caused offense then please accept my apologies.

this isnt on the american news

    http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=47754&s=rcmp

ran into this post today:(not from me) i do not endorse dates, but the hour is late.

Dear Friends and fellow travelers in the faith of Jesus Christ our Lord,

Some of you may know me a little, I have been on Ray’s mailing list for about 10 years now after the Lord led me to the modern prophetic, through Ray and a very few other true prophets in this day. There aren’t many who are true, but those that are, are all saying the same thing: MAJOR JUDGMENT COMMENCING IMMEDIATELY.

I could write a very long email with a lot of history and specifics, but time is short so I will spare you all that. The Lord has highlighted to several different prophets independently that this November 30th, St. Andrew’s Day, is a day of great concern and will commence the outpouring of the major judgments on the USA. While something may or may not happen on that exact day, very large and very dangerous judgments will commence shortly thereafter. The words that the Lord used, again with MULTIPLE prophets independently, is that “all hell will break loose” starting on that day. For those that are in the light, walk in the light so that the darkness will not take you by surprise. We are told multiple times in the scripture to “keep watch” and pay attention, because the Lord will arrive at an hour we do not expect. In this hour almost all are asleep and will be taken completely by surprise. Brothers and sisters, don’t let this happen to you!

Some of the events that may happen on this date or shortly thereafter are:

    (1) A very large earthquake in California and the LA area. One prophet specifically mentions an 8.5 magnitude earthquake, although we have to be careful when handling the prophetic because it might refer to a different event, or the Lord might have mercy and reduce it somewhat. Also, the biblical concept of an “earthquake” can mean any sort of great shaking, not just necessarily the ground shaking. Still, in this case I think it will most likely be a physical earthquake and it will be devastating. This will be “the big one” that Californians live in fear of. The Lord uses the name of Andrew when marking major judgments, and a judgment on the SAN ANDREAS (St. Andrew) fault on St. Andrew’s day (Nov. 30) might be what the Lord is warning of.

    (2) New large-scale, devastating terrorist attacks in multiple cities. These could be with dirty bombs, biological weapons, or actual nuclear weapons. At any rate, when this event happens it will be MUCH WORSE than 9/11.

    (3) A new war in the middle east, which will involve the USA. Right now we have an aircraft carrier battle group deployed off the coast of Syria and the Russians are sending their only carrier to those same waters. It will arrive by midweek and put the two superpowers and former cold war opponents in direct contact. Russia is backing Syria (and Iran) and equipping them with antiship and antiaircraft missiles. Not their old obsolete weapons, but their new, top-of-the-line inventory.

    (4) A renewed worsening of the financial crisis. The world of money and finance is doomed and is going through its last death throes. Once the first nation defaults on its debt it will start a chain reaction leading to bank runs and a total meltdown of the world financial system. Look up the short but detailed prophecy from David Wilkerson to learn more about how this is prophesied to happen. All believers should be prepared for six months of living with no access to money other than the cash in your pocket. Stock up on food, water, fuel, batteries, and emergency supplies NOW! Withdraw what cash you can from any and all banks, once they close some commerce will still happen but it will all be “cash only”. After the panic drives prices up in a huge spike, they will then crash and you may be able to get quite a lot for your money if you have any left. Most people won’t.

Let me explain a little about my role. I am not a prophet and have not been called by God in that role. I follow in the footsteps of Baruch, Gehazi, and others who served the prophets of old as their scribes, secretaries, friends, and companions. It is my honor and privilege to know personally four of the Lord’s true prophets in this day and age, and this gives me a unique perspective that even the prophets don’t usually have, because the Lord usually deals with each prophet individually and they for the most part are not called or given freedom to read what the Lord has revealed to the other prophets. Fundamentally, this nation has not repented before the Lord. In His grace and mercy, God has delayed the greater judgments to allow more to repent and wake up but very very few have done so. For the sake of His bride and remnant, the Lord will now no longer delay. Prepare to meet your Lord and God. As always, the Lord will provide for, preserve and protect His remnant.!
Please prayerfully consider what preparations you need to make, because the hour is late.

    Yours in Christ,

    Stewart

    Tic Toc, Tic Toc.

  94. Hi Michelle / Stewart, As we observe global turmoil and the distress of nations, I believe that we do live in the times that the prophets longed to see. Jesus told us to “watch” (see Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, Book of Revelation, Daniel, Ezekiel, etc). While we must be aware of what is going on, it is not a time to fear.

The most important preparation is spiritual.

If we are not walking with God, now is the time to repent of our sins and turn to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and cleansing.

If we are believers and we are engaging in known sin, overt or covert, now is the time to repent of our sins and turn to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and cleansing. We must stop playing “church.”

Today is the day “to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8).

  95. Michelle Nov 30th 2011

Only to clarify, I am not Stewart. This was posted in another place, and was only spreading the word.

  96. Hi Michelle, …oh I see. I was confused. Thanks so much for clarifying.

  97. Bernie Pavilonis Nov 30th 2011

Here am I Lord, send me…..if you’ll have me…..you’re going to have to take a coal off your alter and touch it to my lips,my heart, my imagination…..and if there’s anything left of me after you have purged me and made me clean……I’d be honored to go anywhere you’d like to send me….I’ll go to the downtrodden, the unlovely, the unloved. I’ll go where no one wants to go…..I’ll go where the need is greatest…….send me the non-glamorous assignment……I’m not so hot myself…….you know me Lord and what’s in me……you know my heart,my shortfalls, my weaknesses, my tendencies………..if you think you can use me, I’m yours……..please Lord……make what’s left of my life count for you……..I don’t care how small and insignificant it seems……if its your choice for me, I will be grateful to you. I don’t want to stand before you empty handed…….I feel like a 4 year old child who must ask his father for money to buy Daddy a Christmas gift…..I have nothing to offer you, unless you first give to me (annointing, calling, gifts) what I need to fulfill your call. All I have to offer you Father is my willingness…….here am I, send me

  98. John the Baptist the 2nd Nov 30th 2011

B.P. That concept — I feel like a 4 year old child who must ask his father for money to buy Daddy a gift– shall never be forgotton by me.

All be it though , at this (st)age, 4 , I felt(feel) no shame or inadequacies in doing so (because that is just the way it is ). Only delight , excitement and anticipation in the giving of such a gift to my Daddy, the one he paid the price for. His not wanting me to feel or be ashamed for or by or in the asking. Just seeing his smile , feeling his embrace , bathing in his love, and being in a such a state of joy in presenting such a gift to him.The gift of my life. Exctasy. Eternal Exctasy. The Kingdom of Our Heavenly Father.

  99. Dieter Nov 30th 2011

We should all do this, as is suggested in the article. It is the only way, no pretenses, no frills, just “Here I am Lord, send me.” To many times we want to add conditions, God can not send you conditionally. You have to give your all. I pray you do.
    Yours in Christ
    Dieter

  100. Derek Hale Nov 30th 2011

In our coming to the Father we must be as little children. The Kingdom of God is for such as little children.

Yet in our knowledge, understanding and wisdom we must be fully grown, complete, adults in every way.

Luk 8:14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.

1Cr 2:6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.

Eph 4:13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Phl 3:15 All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you.

Col 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.

Hbr 5:14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Jam 1:4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

  101. Jordan Shepherd Nov 30th 2011

For most of us Christians, it will be send me, right here, in my own community. But then, we wouldn’t need to say, “Send me”, since we would already be here. So, perhaps we would say, “Use me, Lord”. But then He would say, continue to be led of the Holy Spirit and ensure that you receive equipping and take personal responsibility to study the word, show yourself approved, not be ashamed, rightly divide the word of truth. But then we might say, but I am weak, don’t know what to do. Then He would say, take small steps, exercise faith from time to time, pray with others as you fellowship together. Then we would say, “Send me, Lord.”

  102. Teshuva Nov 30th 2011

    Bernie,
I am just humbled and melted by your words.
May Father take that poured out portion and fill you
with His portion that you be fruitful in every way.
A true living sacrifice of an exchange of your life for His life.

    John the Baptist2,
I am with you on Bernie’s comment as this is precisely what Father does. He does not give us the money to buy the gift but gives us the gift to give back to Him.

    Derek,
He called Peter a rock, but can not help but think He probably calls you a rock too. You take a pounding and yet have not been crushed.
May Father continue to bless you all.

  103. Derek Hale Nov 30th 2011

    Teshuva,

We give God’s gifts back to him by not keeping them for ourselves,we share His gifts amongst our brothers and sisters. That is precisely what God’s gifts are for.

If some of our brothers and sisters reject the gifts then we must keep on sharing to others nonetheless.

Thank you for your kind words.

  104. Derek Hale Nov 30th 2011

Jesus had a particular message for Peter. He asked Peter 3 times if Peter loved Him.Peter decisively and sincerely replied YES 3 times.

Then Jesus said,”Feed my sheep, feed my lambs, feed my sheep.”

Three times for effect, three times for emphasis, three times to make understanding very sure.

We feed others with the gifts.

  105. Teshuva Nov 30th 2011

    Derek,
I agree with that which you said, for in giving them back to others we are doing it unto Him and this was in my thoughts as I wrote.
I just brought my dish to the table and thank you for bringing your dish that more of a completion of the picture be brought forth.

  106. Derek Hale Nov 30th 2011

Our Father says we must learn how to love Him with all our mind, all our heart and all our soul.

This is not merely a feeling,Love is a thing in action.so how do we show our love for our Father?

We SERVE him with all that we are and all that we have.

What are god’s thoughts on how we serve Him?

BY SERVING OUR FELLOW MAN.with all that we are and all that we have.

If we replace the word love with the word serve in the first two commandments we begin to see what we have to do and how we fall short of our Fathers expectations.

  107. I’m so blessed by these posts..xoxoxoxoxo to you all!

  108. Teshuva Dec 1st 2011

    Yes Derek,
The mind, heart, soul and strength of man.
Are not these the 4 powers of man and considered dynamite? Yet without the blasting cap of the Holy Spirit they lose their dunamous power and are nothing in comparison.
One can serve without love and grumble but can one love without serving from a pure heart?
I am blessed by many of your posts.
