WHAT OF the YEAR AHEAD?? – Andrew Strom
Welcome to 2012, my friends! Even many secular commentators and economists believe this year may be one of the most tumultuous in recent memory – especially with what is happening in Europe. We don’t need the “Mayan calendar” to tell us that! But as you know, I believe the current crisis will continue to drag down not just Europe but also the USA and much of the globe. Only time will tell. But I wonder if there can also be “SPIRITUAL” breakthroughs expected this year?
For a long time we have published words and prophecies
that speak of a great ‘Physical’ shaking that is also
accompanied by a ‘Spiritual’ breakthrough back to real Christianity –
the purity and power of the early church – even if just for a remnant.
I wonder what God may have been speaking to you in this regard,
my friends? Could 2012 be a “breakthrough” year spiritually? Or is
it mainly “Shaking” that is to be expected?
We would be very interested in hearing what God may have been
speaking to you on these things. Please post your comment below.

The Lord has spoken:” The old has passed, the new has come.”
I can confirm that I have been feeling an exitement for the year ahead – I have been telling people that I believe spiritual breakthrough will be experienced on a new level. I do believe that many will be called to action.
This is the year of introspection, the year to become saturated with the Word of God. The harvest is ripe but the harvesters are few. The question of the hour is, “What do you know about Jesus?” The next question is, “That’s great, how would you like to get to know Him?”
I feel the wind of the Spirit blowing. Today is the day of salvation. The door is open. Holiness, give me holiness, you can have the rest! It is time to be in Him! He is the door to the Holy place.
The more you know Him the more you love Him. Spend time with Him. Bask in the presence of the Almighty. Respond to His affection. He loves us more than we can ever love Him. The kingdom of God is at hand.
This year, 2012, is the year to reach up and grab hold of Him. The knowledge of the glory of God will cover the earth as the water covers the sea. This is the year!
For a long time now God’s been saying to me its a new day, a new day spiritually especially in my life, but i believe also in the lives of others as the church. A day of hope, and seeing the hand of God moving mightily on behalf of His Word and His children, mostly His will. Babylon will fall and every knee will bow to Jesus Chirst, and we have to ambrace Gods Will, and accept it and make peace with it. Times will only get more tough i think. But God promises us, that we will be taken care of, that the light within us will just shine brighter, and this is due to hope.. Ever thought without hope in Jesus and salvation, can there be faith and love? You can also say, without faith there can be no hope or love, without love there can be no hope or faith, it’s like this verse is alive. And it can be seen from many different perspectives, but most of all love is the greatest.
I HOPE that God will take this year, and infuse Hope in His children.. As we look at Jesus and not the world, may our strength be renewed in 2012 and may the end come..
I am currently reading the Harbinger. A book based on Is. 9:10&11 depicting the parallel’s of Israel to America today. Written in fiction form using factual data it is scary and yet amazing how everything is playing out.
While reading this book, I began to look at the Harbinger’s in the book and how they would apply to my own personal life, I began to see for myself some of the warnings God has given me in the past. Am I too on a personal level headed for destruction? Not if I can help it! Well, I can’t do it alone, but with Jesus ALL things are possible. So 2012 is a year of Repentance, not just saying “I repent” but DOING repentance. I believe their is a big difference. I need to DO more in 2012. Show grace and mercy to OTHERS more in 2012. Help those that have less than me. (my wife and I have already implemented some things here)
PRIDE MUST BE Removed from our lives. I need to humble myself more, and when that is done, humble myself again. I am NOTHING without Christ except dirty rags. Everything I do compared to Him is nasty. I need to allow the Holy Spirit 100% access to my life, to drive this vessel for the work of the Lord. Not 50%, not 75%, not even 99.9254385% 100%!

I heard that there will be 3-4 catastrophes that will blow people’s minds. They will be bigger than the “waves of judgments” that have been crashing down these last two years. I looked up “catastrophe” and it means “to overturn” as in the Ezekiel phrase, “I will overturn, overturn, overturn it and give it to him whose right it is.” That phrase could be written, “I will catastrophe, catastrophe, catastrophe it, and give it to him whose right it is.”
So my thoughts are that if this will blow people’s minds then I will try to have the mind of Christ, so my mind does not get blown. So I am working on having the mind of Christ this year, and leaning not to my own understanding. “I will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on me.”
Also, instead of having the night watches and prayers of the past, the Lord is showing me to rest. I get up only to be told to rest in Him. He does not want me to be full of worry, doubt, and fear. Now is a time to “rest in Jesus”, trust, and obey. He also might have me resting more because of what is about to come, I might need that rest soon! Either way, I am resting in Him and working on having the mind of Christ and not human wisdom. Strive to enter into that rest. Have the mind of Christ.

Absolutely, a year of Breakthrough…It’s deep within me…
not for our sake… BUT for HIS Name’s sake (His Glory)
A time to shine brightly in the midst of darkness for others that
are in darkness of (financial, sickness & depression) Labor pains.
For some it will be a year of shaking, BUT for the more mature flocks this year will be more of a refiners fire. Upper room anointing.
Jesus said I will baptize you with the Holy Spirit & Fire
LIVES ARE IN THE BALANCE…around us we are accountable

BUT you better deny yourself and follow Him & make disciples.

SO that GOD, could have many sons & daughters"
Don't be a Pharasee – a hearer only of the Word & not a doer.
So that when the storm comes you can still remain.
Jesus is frustrated with our lack of "faith" –
He has to continuously put us in ankle deep water to
develop our faith.
There will be a breakthrough in faith for many this year…
God will show us how to cultivate our faith…for great exploits.
He makes my feet like hinds feet & sets my feet on high places
We must be that tree that "bears fruit" (Psalm 1)
This is the year for many children of God to buckle down &
reach out so that their "barron and fruitless tree" will be spared by God's Mercy & begin to "bear fruit"

I rarely seem to get dates in prophecies (except predicting that a false revival would start in Nov 2009 which seemed to = IHOP’s), and have not had any new words in 2011. However the spiritual atmosphere significantly worsened in the UK in Sept 2011, in a very major and powerful way. This may be a start of the fulfilment of someone else’s word warning of a wave from the enemy entering the UK. If so it should lead to a wave of deception flooding the UK church, as well that of the USA and rfest of the western world, possibly in 2012, (Iv given up guessology on dates though as i always get it wrong). I hope this is the case so we can get it over with asp as we should then move toward a genuine global move of Gods Spirit afterwards, probably a few years after the start of the deceptive wave.
I believe a new principality (new to the west) is invading our lands, (Babylonian like, which was an interfaith empire that incorporated the defeated nations gods within it), and that this will impact peoples thinking, promote New Age deception and ideas and the re- emergence of paganism across Europe.

I reckon that is what is going to happen then in the western world, a pruning of the body of Christ through deception and a purer smaller remnant remaining.
Whether that will happen in 2012 or not i would rather not guess, but if not then it is even more likely the year after that in 2013 or the one after that in 2014. 2011/12 appears to me to be the turning point.
Gardeners prune back rose bushes quite vigorously in order to make them more fruitful afterwards.
The Lord shared his heart with me new years eve…2012 will be a year for Gods kingdom and Gods government to manifest, a year for man to be reconciled to God, a restoring of hearts, that have been shattered,a picking up the pieces says the Lord.Much dissension has gone on in my church but I am about to bring to the forefront my standard in the hearts of my people ,this year you will see my government take position, new anointing…fresh anointing…new breed of leadership is rising up in 2012, ones who carry the torch of boldness and hearts with no compromise Who will be champions in my kingdom and stand for what my word says! I have heard the cry of my saints and my heart has been moved those who stand on my word and my way will see my kingdom manifest in a way that will confirm with signs and wonders.I AM FAITHFUL TO DO WHAT I SAY I WILL DO …many of my children have had hearts where “hope deferred” makes the heart sick…but i am this year giving new hope. a rising up of fresh hope says the Lord.
I believe that the present FINACIAL DISASTERS will pave the way for the occult controlling parties within the banking system, incl the Freemasons, who many claim are led by Satanists, to gain power over national governments. It is to the World banks that many nations are now indebted. Paving the way for Satans One World Government , (which Rev 13 clearly predicts so this is no conspiracr theory or in any way out of line with the historic teachings of the church for over 2000 yrs), and the introduction of the antichrists mark of the beast, 666. This may all happen sooner than many expect.
Most commemntators expect this to be a chip planted within the skin on the hand or forehead which fits with the bibles description very closely and is already a possibility today. If people cannot buy or sell without this as Rev 13 predicts then this will give the antichrist ultimate power and control over others and disempower Christians and their influence in the very last days. Its is possible that this could happen within a decade.
We need to read study and keep reading the book of Revelation in particular as it surely applies to our times, so we know it like the back of our hands, even if many mysteries remain within it.

The financila crisis of 2008 a year later gives the picture i had even more weighty than the description interpretation attributed to it it would seem.
Years ago, when Zion, IL was settled the spiritual group always talked about being enraptured with Christ. Intimately KNOWING the Lamb and being so enraptured with Him NOTHING else mattered.
We have a business that services Christians throughout Canada, & the US. I am witnessing an individual move of God, being done in the “secret place” out of view, where mature Christians are literally breaking, repenting, & finding “such FREEDOM” (for the last 2 years the Lord has been speaking to me about His Body, ” I have come to set the captives FREE”). Some mature ones may be insulted, but to those who have an ear to hear, the Lamb is forming a Bride in the secret place where “intimacy” is the key. As with the “early church” a people are becoming enraptured with Him, and NOTHING else matters. Every day, men and women are allowing the “River of Life” to flow and the Lamb to be the CENTER. Predictions of future events and even present things fade in the LIGHT OF THE LAMB AND HIM, ALONE, GLORIFIED. There is a remnant, and they are becoming one with the Lamb.
God is up to something (He ALWAYS is). This next wave that is about to happen will change lives – give others the direction they need. His power is about to be released as never before to touch so many. It will flow through those who have been proven – those who have walked through the fires and floods of life – tested; tried over comers. Those victorious through His blood of testimony. Those who love Him more than their own lives. Some of these are new believers – some are seasoned warriors — ALL are hand picked by God for this purpose; for this mission; for this season; for this movement. Others will try to “cut in” but will be cut off by God Himself in their vain attempts to capitalize on what He is doing. They will be found out as frauds in the public eye and forced to truly repent and get right with Almighty God before it is too late. For those who do not will be here to bring the others through the great time of testing. For the time of the Lord is at hand – many would put it off and try to delay it BUT the time is set and will surely come to pass as He Himself has already chosen the date. The time is now to get ready – the time is now to prepare – the time is now to tell the world.
I think many will find that this year does not play out as expected. The nations themselves have been trying to push God away from themselves. In fact psalms chapter 2 comes to mind.
But the judgements are falling upon the nations not because of rejection of God, but because Justices has been perverted within them and the poor trodden underfoot. The nations have been lead astray by their leaders. The letter of the law has become a tool used to oppress. And you all know how evil has come in like a flood and the rise in the occult.
The nations have been set against eachother to so harm to eachother, Simply put the fetters of the state has to be broken in order for the evils the states have enforced to be removed from the backs of the common people. The only way to break the power of the state is in wars and calamities that erode the ability of a state to function.
That is what I think we are going to start to see. Events that strip the worlds governments of their power to dominate and pervert real justice.
When this kind of thing happens everyone goes through the grinder. And in our case this is also going to have a profound effect on the saints who at this stage are all over the place doctrine wise.
Those that really do know their God and have the real spirit of God within will have the power of God operating in their lives to enable them to come through this time with his help. The majority that have been following another Jesus and do not test the spirit but have become comfortable with the spirit of this world as a substitute will have to go through this in their own strength.
The body of saints that come out of this coming time of Judgement that has been warned about for so long, is going to be very different from the divided body that is currently about to enter this period of time. All the religiosity and pet doctrines are going to be burnt up when the perverted theology hits the skids of reality in a time of calamity.
Spiritual breakthroughs always come by way of physical tribulation.
Distress,suffering and persecution is promised for good reason
Refinement comes by these means,they test us like nothing else can.
God lights the furnace in and around us,he is turning up the heat more and more.
Those who OVERCOME will come out purified.
I have no dates about anything, but I have the calling from God to press in deeper, to humble myself before him, to commit myself and surrender myself completely to him so I am not overtaken in the days ahead. He is teaching me to abandon myself at his feet, to not try to understand what is going on, to trust him completely and to stop trying to “get it together” which has been my secret sin before God for forty years. Trust, trust, trust, but do not trust in the flesh or the mind or the emotions.
Rest in the Lord and learn how to get into the rest quickly because I think that without being able to get into that ret, we may perish in what is to come.
The other side of all this is to tell people what Jesus has done in my life. I am trying hard to look for open doors to speak about the lord.
I think treacherous times are coming and I believe we can prepare at the feet of Jesus and bymlistening to Him and obeying Him and by learning the lessons he has for usntoday. I have had some struggles this year that were so bad that without Jesus I may have jumpedmoffma bridge. That may sound melodramatic, but when you face impossibilities and darkness and despair, there is no hope but Jesus and that has been what 2011 was for me. That tells me that I am being prepared for something to come.
In will saynthat God has spoken to me aboutmthree events to come, but no days or specifics.
He is speaking clearly to me…to lay childish things aside. To come together..the Body of Christ. There is definately a change in the air in this area of Albany, New York.

The Still Small Voice
It is a season of ‘the still small voice’. We have heard of revivals sweeping across Europe, America and all over the world in days gone by. We have seen tent meetings, stages, evangelists, productions, strange events, and loud clambering meetings. We have seen all the shouting and confrontation going on all over the world as governments clash and crumble from within.
Yet in all this clamor we are missing the still small voice. God has been moving in your life and mine. He has been stirring our spirits and drawing us back to our first love. He has been restoring vision and setting our feet back on a solid rock of truth. All of this He is doing with a still small voice, with little notice. It is happening all over the world. Revival, reformation, restitution, and restoration are coming to those who are available, seeking, confessing, repenting, and returning. I hear it every day, and I hear the truthful, honest crying of people’s hearts. The wasted years are being restored, and God is raising up His people and equipping them. I pray that God will open your eyes to see what I see. God is asking you, “what are you doing here?” God already knows, but He wants you to know.
2012 is a season to get serious.
The Word of God is a light that goes through a prism and emerges in many facets. On the day of Pentecost those who were there each heard different messages, much like when the Word is taught in meetings and people come away with different individual needs met.
The Word of God is going forth today like I have not seen in over 30 years. I mean the real Word, not the fake prophetic type messages we have been deluged with over the past years. I was thinking how that Word has different meaning and impact depending on where you are standing. It is a Word of encouragement to some, because He is dividing sheep/goats, gold/dross, wheat/chaff, wine/dregs, loaf/leaven. Depending on which side of that you live it is either relief or desperation. It is an encouragement to those who have felt left behind and forgotten because He did not forget and He is drawing us back into active service with immense purpose. As the big ship sinks the lifeboats become very attractive, but some would rather go down with the ship, and His Word is sinking that ship.
God will not tolerate the aberrant wineskin of the modern Church much longer. She is intoxicated on religious mixture and filled with foolishness and contempt for holiness. In every age of mankind, God sought for those who would participate in sovereignty. He places the seed of His doings in a remnant to be expanded into a multitude. The work of God will no longer be the responsibility of paid professionals, but the work of the ministry will be done by the body of Christ. They will listen, hear and discern for themselves as if they were mature, capable disciples with a direct line to the throne room. What a radical concept!
He is restoring His true church and taking it back. He is drawing His people here and there back into an organic first love relationship and the fires are burning again, but if you are on the other side and cleave to the formal, manmade institutions and customs, it will be an unpleasant experience. His Word is going out, and it will produce, and it will divide, and it will exceed our understanding, and it will challenge our customs, and it will heal our brokenness, and it will produce confession and repentance, and it will break us and it will build us again, and it will draw in the lost to real life and sustenance. It all depends on where we are as to what that ‘light’ will mean to us. The same light that illuminates our path frightens the bugs under the rock, and they scatter to seek more darkness.
We must all make a thorough examination of our houses.The ground is soon to be violently shaken.The foundations must be solid and true,if they are so then the foundations will hold BUT the rest of the house must also withstand the shaking.Remember that Jesus is the whole house from the first foundation stone to the final roof capstone.
All must stand the coming test.It is time to begin a structural survey and put right what parts are subject to weakness.
Our whole house must be made true.
The truth,the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
“Beloved, NOW are WE the SONS OF GOD, and it does not yet appear what we shall be; but we know that when HE SHALL APPEAR…WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM; for we shall see Him as HE IS.”
The sons of God are rising…coming up from the wilderness…shaking off the illusions that the enemy would have had them to believe as they have gone through the Refiner’s fire…not his. These men and women have learned to wield the sword and THEY will execute the judgments of God that will mean LIFE for some and death to others. They will see the glory of God because of the purity of their hearts that God has created through reproach and shame….nothing less than the work of the cross applied.
Psalms 149 will become a living reality for those who know who they are and the Inheritance they posess. For the sons will not be shaken and will not flinch…they will create another kind of shaking as they execute the Father’s righteous judgments. The spiritual war of the ages is on…it is now…it is. We are to hope with the Lord for many sons to be brought forth.

THE VOICE OF THE TURTLE…is it the time?
There are two parallel kingdoms of which God speaks, the kingdom of man, and the kingdom of God. We, of course, live our natural lives in the kingdom of man, and unfortunately, we place more value in the things of this kingdom than we do in the things of His kingdom.
Today in our kingdom it seems like pretty dark times. There is not a lot to rejoice about, but as Christians we put on a positive attitude and walk through the valley as best we can. But what time and season is it really? What is the season in God’s kingdom? Is it dark and ominous like winter, or threatening the coming of winter, like the autumn? Or is it the long hot summer?
In Song of Solomon God began speaking this to me. God is stirring and waking His saints, stirring a fire in their breasts and drawing them back to Him as their ‘first love’. In the 2nd chapter of the Song of Solomon around the 12th verse God really began opening my eyes to His current season, spring. The preparation for the coming of the bridegroom. The return of grace to the spirits of the righteous which seemed to be dead in the winter, but as the sun of righteousness shines and warms the earth the flowers bloom. The flowers are revived again, and again bring beauty to a barren landscape. (Ps. 104:30 “ You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth.”)
The singing of the birds is come, which is the worship of the saints with joy and gladness. Justified, pardoned, adopted, and redeemed, singing Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Bringing another element of beauty to a dark and dying world. A renewal that delights the eyes and ears, but that is not all. For the voice of the turtledove is heard. The voice of John the Baptist and the voice of Jonah the prophet crying out in the wilderness for those who have ears to repent, bringing joy and gladness to the heart.
This is a time of pruning the vines. Cutting off the dead growth so new life will spring forth. The fruit will be sweet to the taste and bring joy to the people. The ministry of the Holy Spirit pouring forth through earthen vessels.
I believe God is speaking to His people and the voice of the turtle (dove) is sweeping the earth. The Lord is preparing us for His return and it is not winter, fall, or summer. In His kingdom, it is spring, and we should reflect that, because that is where we belong.
The voice of our beloved lo He comes, leaping upon the mountains, and skipping over the hills…
Our hearts will be pounding in our chests and we will soon have eyes, ears, and hearts of expectation as the Spirit of God stirs our hearts. The voice of the turtle is the voice of repentance, but not a demanding, brutal call, but a song that draws us closer creating within us a desire to be free of all that offends Him.
This present darkness is just an opportunity for those who see God’s kingdom and bring that kingdom to our kingdom. Not in some weird way, but in a way reflected in our attitude and demeanor because our home is not here. We are not messengers of hope and good news simply because it is a doctrine, but because we see and understand His kingdom and His season.
Song of Solomon 2:8-13 The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes Leaping upon the mountains, Skipping upon the hills. 9 My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Behold, he stands behind our wall; He is looking through the windows, Gazing through the lattice. 10 My beloved spoke, and said to me: “Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away. 11 For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. 12 The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove Is heard in our land. 13 The fig tree puts forth her green figs, And the vines with the tender grapes Give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away!
Mathew 16:1-4 One day the Pharisees and Sadducees came to test Jesus’ claims by asking him to show them a miraculous sign from heaven. 2 He replied, “You know the saying, ‘Red sky at night means fair weather tomorrow, 3 red sky in the morning means foul weather all day.’ You are good at reading the weather signs in the sky, but you can’t read the obvious signs of the times! 4 Only an evil, faithless generation would ask for a miraculous sign, but the only sign I will give them is the sign of the prophet Jonah.” Then Jesus left them and went away.
Jonah 1: 1-2 “Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me”
Acts 2:42
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread and in prayers.
I pray that the Body of Christ will get back to the basics and LIVE the Gospel, NOT just TALK!!! That we would actually BE the church in everything and put what we know and WHO (HIM) we know into practical application and show the world that we are truly disciples of Christ by the love we have for one another.
To become lively stones being fitted together…..I love our home gatherings……It is easy to love the masses and those out there, but can we love the person who is next to us….fellow believers, neighbors, co workers, those in your sphere of influence…..
To cut out of the hype and false “words” and acting like insane people and just Be the real people Jesus died for us to be.
May we walk worthy of His Calling.
I agree with much of these comments; being a time of pressing in and knowing God. Holiness is not the absence of sin, but the overwhelming of man with God that no sin can remain. That sort of holiness, being wholly given over to God, will give us the faith to do mighty miracles. That it will no longer be us just trusting that God is good, but knowing the heart of the Father and what is happening around us. There is no secret that won’t be made known, and Jesus said he called his disciples not servants because a servant does not know his master’s business, but friends because everything God told him he made known to them.
I’ve been focusing on 1 Corinthians Chapter 2 and just meditating on it for a complete revelation. The Spirit is causing me to hold onto it; saying that I can know even the deep things of God and have the Spirit of God to know his heart. When we know Him, we can be united with Him as Jesus was. There will be no more wishful thinking for miracles, but true faith knowing that the work was completed on the cross and that the fullness of the Godhead can dwell in us. We will start to see miracles and healings consistently again.
This being wrapped up in God, will also give us the much needed discernment that has been lacking in the church. I am not certain this is going to be a major revival with large numbers (at least in America), because many have fear of going deeper and perceive satan as someone who has power and authority rather than themselves. However, the Spirit has laid on my heart that my mission is to intercede and pray the church has eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to understand, which I’ve already started some time ago. Hopefully there will be a “great awakening” for the church.
Andrew your comment about a shaking that is also accompanied by a spiritual breakthrough back to real Christianity, even if JUST FOR A REMNANT will most likely happen. I have not had any words for a long time, but I have been humbled and dealt with for many years now. I don’t think much about the future here any more, except for hot it is preparing me for eternity. I simply occupy until he comes. It will be an honor to serve him in what ever way He sees fit to use us. I am just so very grateful the Father has included my wife and I in that remnant!
The fact that no one can name any true prophets to replace the ones that have died speaks volumes to me. I believe a corporate prophetic movement and gifting is about to happen. I pray the day of the Christian super star is over..
I may have made reference to this before. However, I am reminded of two visions the Lord gave me in the latter 1970′s. One was of a shopping mall, which now exists, in which only down escalators were working. People were crying out for help to get up from the lower level, and as I looked behind me, and up, there was missionary friend, and Jesus. I was trying to get people up from this downfall of economy, and turn them over to Jesus.
The other vision was of a thick dark cloud covering the earth. This was so thick people were being sucked into it, and unable to be in contact with each other. When I cried out for God to help He showed me as people began to drop to their knees and pray, He would stretch out His hands, part this thick darkness, and His light would shine through. Then people would rise giving Him praise. Turning to God by millions of people is the answer.
Isaiah 43:18-19
“Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
BEHOLD, I DO A NEW THING — [NOW]
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall not you know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness, and
Streams in the desert.”
Violence Makes us a FORCE!
Many of God’s people aren’t/haven’t been in the so-called structured church buildings for quite some time. He has pulled them out to get them ready for “such a time as this.” They had to “Come out from among them and be separate” to enable God to build them into their destiny. Where has He been building them? They have been in the valleys of: the shadow of Death, the valley of Decision, and the valley of Dry bones. In the valley of the shadow of death we could feel Him with us, even though we didn’t like it. Then as the testing/trials became more intense we couldn’t feel Him and really questioned why things were happening and where was He? Then there became a daily questioning and deciding of our faith/His faith to us in the valley of decision. Were we going to keep believing, or turn back? Where was there to go, the world? In it, but not of it? And…finally through a time of intense fire of hopelessness, we died in the valley of dry bones. This wasn’t a process that any of us would have chosen or accepted IF we knew how much it would cost us. No one could really help us, they were going through their own death. Or maybe they had no clue what you were going through, and maybe didn’t care. The people that have gone through this process are forerunners/leaders in the army of God. We have seen the glory/goodness of God before the dying to self started and intensified. That is why things became so hard for us in the valleys because we knew and believed what God can do, but He wasn’t. Ezekiel 37 is the chapter of the Valley of Dry Bones where it symbolizes Israel and the restoration of it, but it also is a parallel of us as being grafted in by Jesus death and resurrection. It talks about the whole house of Israel and the hopelessness from circumstances beyond our control. But…. God. He will, not us, put His renewed Spirit/Breath in us and we will live again. Live the abundant life that is “the Call” of God on our life. We too had to go through the death, resurrection/revival, and restoration process to be able to really identify with our Lord and Savior. We had to learn that it never was about us, but Him and His ministry for us. That was what the valleys were for, to prepare us to lead the way for others out of the darkness. In chapter 10:21 of Daniel it talks about the book of truth/destiny. Right before that verse we read of a huge battle that the arch angels had gone through just to answer prayer. I believe that the book of destiny has now been opened by the Lord and that there has been a huge battle in your life and the lives of those precious to you, because the enemy has tried to stop your divine destiny. Then in Ezekiel 12: 22,28 it says, “The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled. And.. None of my words will be delayed any longer, whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.” It is time NOW to Declare you prophetic words and Walk in it.!! Walk in and LIVE Isaiah 61.
This is the reason for all we have gone through in our lives, to prepare us for the harvest. The workers are few, because some have chosen a different path then the Lord had for them. I asked God why we weren’t moving in things that Jesus did like we read in the Bible. And I believe that He said, “It is in you, NOW manifest it.” I also heard Him say the other day that there are so many homeless on earth, because there are so many homeless for Heaven. There is shortage of food and drink on earth, because they have not heard of the bread of life and the living water. Where are the true Sons and Daughters of God? We are witnessing violence all around us with storms in the atmosphere, the earth quaking, and people trying to find comfort any way that they can. The violent take it by force. What are we taking,…. our time?? And at whose expense?? The GLORY cloud moves!!
More *distress of nations with perplexity*….natural disasters, along with financial turmoil. Haggai ch. 1, *Consider your ways*….God continues to call us back to Himself….nothing really new there BUT we do know that *If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray*….He has promised to bring healing to our land.
Interestingly enough, unbeknownst to one another , there has been a call out from MANY groups to fast and pray for the nations, our cities and the world from Jan 9 to Jan 31. I have never heard of something like that in my lifetime, sort of a spontaneous call like that. We are beginning to realize that if we don’t do this, we will pay a terrible price and so will those around us. A year to pray and seek Him as never before. If we are close to Him we will be able to handle whatever comes.
The last few years there have been MANY dreams of shaking coming, and a sleeping church….we will see more shaking. Our prayer must be that the church will wake up!

Scripture says that God shakes all things so that the unshakable remains: that which is Christ.
If we have been building our lives upon the Rock, and we continue to build our lives upon the Rock, submitting to God and His ways, obeying His truth by the Spirit, we will be unshakable. When everything is shaken and judgment begins at the house of God, we will be able to “arise and shine” knowing that the time for God to exalt us has come.
As I have been about, I have sensed that the gospel needs to go out more. There are forces at work to destroy every Christian principle. We need to know what we believe, why we believe it and then stand on those beliefs come what may.
As everything rages around us and we simply stand in Him, our spirit in harmony with God, people will be drawn to our light. There will be much persecution, but at the same time much fruit.
God is bringing His people back to the simplicity, purity and power of the early church. The glory of the latter house shall be greater than that of the former. Hallelujah!
We need to seek the Lord, get rooted in Him and be ready for the time of shaking. Many are sleep walking to their destruction. Awake, awake, O Zion! Put on strength, put on thy beautiful garments! Shake thyself from the dust and rise up!
Some say Tm Tebow is prophetic in what and how he accomplishes in his activities through the sport of foot ball. I’m not a sport fan but it’s undenyable to me that G-d is giving us a meassage through him. We are in the end zone. The enemy is ready to push us back into oblivion. We who Know the Lord ( not just about the Lord) need to make that 316 yard pass ( John 3:16) to touch down. G-d has been showing me our time is short and we need to hear Him. He is telling me this past few months to do the hardest thing that is needed to be done in my locality and watch what HE WILL DO. Shalom

The Lord has been impressing on me since November for 2012 that the members of His Body have got to come into UNITY, without which He cannot help believers fulfill their callings, ministries reach their full potential, and His Word penetrate darkness in every nation. People have got to stop thinking like their origins and start talking, thinking, and acting like disciples of Christ. I must stop thinking, acting, and talking like a typical American. Believers in Nigeria have got to stop thinking and making decisions like Nigerians. Same for Russians, Chinese, and Icelandic citizens. We must all think, act, and talk like Jesus, regardless of our nationality, education, culture, traditions, and religious experience. In that way, we can begin to act as an army of God and all be in agreement, under discipline, and in submission to authority.
The Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders met in late November to seek a word of the Lord for the coming year, as they have since 1999. Due to world-wide shaking, this was probably the most sobering council gathering to date. Many prophets around the world believe that the United States must make a major shift toward reformation in 2012 and that it will be a “do-or-die” year for the country to be re-established on the course of becoming the “city set on a hill” envisioned by our Founders.

I agree w/the above points mentioned. Personally, I haven’t heard what’s in store 4 2012 specifically. Currently in the season of walking by faith day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, which looks to be whittled down to second by second!!
What I am discerning are that the waves of deception will eventually turn into a Tsuami as God’s restraint upon wicked principalities is lifting. The people of God will not be deceived but equipped and prepared to guide many from darkness to light in that hour. Do not be amazed by the supernatural manifestations which come from demonic sources to deceive the whole earth. They are nothing to those who know their God and walk in step w/His Spirit.
Our Pastor did have a Word for 2012 for the Body of Christ : “PREPARE”. He would agree w/ all the wonderful comments above as he’s also communicated the same things.

As I sit in my office pondering about this year 2012 and what the Lord has in mind for my wife and me and for others, I just couldn’t get it out of my mind that this year is going to be a cracker.
The first quarter is going to bring surprises to many and there will be up’s and down’s with unusual goings on. (Joke) Mrs Quake is still going to say to Mr Quake “Its all your Fault!” Ha! But seriously,
Anyway on the bad side of things, there is still going to be plenty of action under foot and one must be wary as we tread into 2012. There is going to be problems with oil from overseas. There will also be hidden agenda’s from those in authority who want to keep everybody happy and will lie to keep things peaceful.
There will be buildings in the city deemed safe, (Christchurch) but that is a falsehood and I for one will not venture into large malls. 2012 will be a year of upheaval in many places.
Water again is going to be prominent in many places and scores of people are going to be frustrated at the actions taken by local Government and the like.
Some people will be disorientated as they will not recognise the city as it was, for empty spaces will be many. Water will play a big part in this years agenda of things.
A tsunami warning will come and go!
Respect will be a thing of the past as many people including young ones will show disregard for property and other peoples goods.
Disaster on a large scale will come from overseas as rivers burst banks and fires spread wide. Tears will flow as many young are swept away in waters and killed in needless feuds. The ship that was (Rena) will be no more as further damage will occur and cause distress.
Those of high ranking will have no answers!

Those who have been laid back in days gone by are going to enter into a brighter year in 2012, for in this year new doors are going to open for many and many people who did not know Christ will come to know him as the Church raises it’s head once more seeking the lost using all means to gather in.
There will be new idea’s and happier faces showing the goodness of God’s favour as people come alive.
New buildings will spring forth and the dream that many have had in the past will awaken many to the fact that all is well and it is a new day. God is about to do a new thing and bring a fresh wind, and His grace will once more be felt by many who dare reach out to Him.
New friendships will be formed and some will leave for brighter pastures but the void will be filled as quick as it came.
Revelations 3:5 says “He who overcomes will …be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.
The Spirit of God is coming with force this year to cleanse, purify, and make good once again to those who have been broken and without, for they will see plenty as God’s hand comes upon them and releases it’s power and anointing for healing and restoration.
Those who fall at the feet of the Master will never be the same again as a new wind comes and sweeps through this nation of New Zealand and the Islands abroad.
Be at peace with one another as much as possible for there will be enough of wars as seen in newspapers from around the world.
The Lord says, I will awaken those that sleep for this city must rise again, and will rise again for my Spirit is within its walls, and those who heed my call will see a brand new day.
As I said in 2009 that 2012 will be a difficult year we must throw off the plans of Mice and Men and really press into God if we are to survive the coming storms.
God wants to do many things this year for his people, but it will determine how much we open our hearts to Him and become available to Him.
It is not a year for gathering to ones self but a year where we must share ourselves more. As we gather one on one this nation will rise to new heights for God’s Spirit is about to move in a different way ever experienced by his people.
Again I say “Be at peace with one another” for frustrations will come and go in a greater measure than before. A threesome cord is so hard to break.
Many will be offered goods at ridiculous prices but it will be the wise that really gain. Selah!

Everyone has a beginning. And, the good news is, you can begin again!
If you like to start 2012 afresh, I believe it’s important that you consider this year as a God-ordained new beginning for you. I know I have.
In fact, it is God’s desire that all of us should have and enjoy new beginnings. See this beautiful statement in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) “…anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
It doesn’t matter what you did or didn’t do in 2011. You can begin again!
It doesn’t matter what you are or what you aren’t. You can begin again!
It doesn’t matter what you have or what you lack. You can begin again!
Don’t think, “It’s just another year”. No. It’s not.
It’s a New Year for a new beginning – new plans, new resources, new accomplishments.
You may have had dreams and desires in the past which you left somewhere along the journey because of negative experiences. I believe its time that you prayerfully re-dig the pit and once again pull out those dreams. It’s time to make them come alive.
Bring them along with your whole life into the hands of the Saviour. He will do a fresh work in you.
So, remember: 2012 is a new beginning!
If you really want to have 2012 as a new beginning, you got to decide what you want to accomplish this year. It’s not enough that you have a desire. You need to have
A Plan, —- a Goal —– or a Vision.
1. Check your passion
What are you passionate about? If you can do only one thing in life, what would be that one thing? Your goal must be closely connected to your passion.
For me it’s Music and Elderly People,
2. Check what you dislike
What do you consider as “I can’t stand it!”? What stuff, situation or scenario produces a (righteous) anger in you? Though you may not realize, your God-ordained purpose is connected to that! Incorporate it into your goal.

3. Check your track record
What have you been through the past 5 years, especially 2011? It may be a mixture of good and not-so-good circumstances. But God used them to prepare you for 2012. Seeing these from a ‘mountain-top’ angle will help you create a ‘heavenly’ and realistic goal.
He certainly did in my case being paralysed and in pain, I can talk to others in similar circumstances and talk them through their disappointments and depressions they suffer along the way.
The bible talks about writing the vision down and making it plain and this helps immensely.
Don’t go through another year of wandering through the desert situation, getting no-where, re-dig the pit and keep on re-digging till every last bit of your dream that was left behind comes to the surface. Throw off the negativity that has latched on to you because of circumstances beyond your control. Become Positive once more and see your dream come alive. In some cases it may be hard but push through.
Watch God as he unfolds his plans for you and lifts you up onto a higher plane.
2012 is going to be a good year, certainly one of surprises but nevertheless a good year. As we watch our visions and dreams unfold there comes a cry from within “We can do it”! We will do it! God is with us.
We have watched as everything around us has broken down and some have broken their backs shifting silt and liquefaction, ( Christchurch) yet still we have stood our ground and never let go. That is what we are made of, solid as the stuff around us yet we haven’t faltered but carried on. God has been our strength
We cant look back on all that went before us, I know I had many ordeals as the quakes hit, –A 7.1– A 6.3 and A 5.8 magnitude, and I was paralysed not able to move an inch.
Was God in the situation? He certainly was and He got me through it all by giving me strength to enable me to get to the end.
I put my trust in the one I knew could get me through and He came forth with flying colours.
What about you? Will you do the same today? Will you allow Him to change your circumstances enough to see a brighter you. Will you take His hand once more?
My wife and I used to use our holidays up by going around New Zealand in a 26 metre bus ministering to others in need. There were five of us, three children and us.
We took enough information packs (Salvation packs ) to do the job.
On one of those occasions we felt the journey we were going on required quite a lot of these packs and I went to one of the largest churches in the city at that time.
We could only get three.
I was disappointed to say the least and thought “What can only three do? I needed more but that was it. We left Christchurch and headed for Picton. We made a decision to pick up any hitch hiker that was travelling our way.

The first was easy, we only had gone a few miles out of town when at Amberley we had our first encounter.
We continued on and we encountered another at Kaikoura, and another a few miles further. All foreigners.
I had fixed in the bus a beautiful radio/tape deck with speakers that went surround and no matter where you sat you heard what I put on the tape deck and it so happened to be Radio Rhema.
By the time we reached Picton we had exhausted our supply of packs and my daughters and wife had ministered beautifully to the three involved who listened and one for sure gave his heart to Christ.
Isn’t God cool ! He is in control of everything.
Why am I saying this.
Some of you have been longing to do just that, minister to the lost but some how the timing hasn’t been right or something got in the way. Too busy!
God is saying to you right now it’s time to dream the dream again and pick up the package and run with it.
Yes I know what its like sitting on the fence, and yes you have a family to look after! Well so did I (three girls) and a wife.
God makes a way when there seems no way. This is the year for you to give back to God for all the things he has given you.
I firmly believe these are the last days, and how many more years can we enjoy?
If this word speaks to you then grab the dream, the vision, and run with it.
Don’t let it slip by.
May God richly bless you as you hear his voice and obey for that is the key, Obey.

this is what the Spirit of God speaks to me continually and i believe it is a message to the whole church – today is a new day – the old has passed the new is come. just as the darkness covered the land and the light has dawned so it is with all that is coming.
do not be afraid of all that you see, hear and experience. did i not tell you that there would be famine, floods, earthquakes in diverse places, that there would be wars and rumours of wars – but do not fear for these are the signs of the coming of the Kingdom of your God and King.
trust in me with all your hearts – too many are looking to the kingdoms of this world where is no hope for them but i did not tell you to look to the kingdom or princes of this world – i did not tell you to preach the news of the kingdoms of this world – no
i have told you to go into all the world to preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God – and as you do signs will follow you. you look for signs but do not expect the evidence of the Kingdom of God until you have done that which I have asked you. when you do as I have asked you to do – then the signs will follow. these signs will be – repentance from sign, baptism in water and fire, healing of the sick, deliverance from demonic oppression and raising of the dead.
i have come that you may have life and have it in all its fullness and in this you will walk in freedom. i have come to set people free – and i commission you now to do likewise. know you not that he whom the Son sets free is free indeed. release from fear and know also that perfect love casts out all fear – there is no fear in love and no shame in my love that covers a multitude of sins.
go now into all the world and tell of the Kingdom of your God and King.
One thing I believe I have heard from the Holy Spirit for 2012 is that Obama will remain in office. Whether Obama does it through the election or some other means, I don’t know. What I believe the Holy Spirit said was that Obama will not give up his seat of authority. I have been saying this publicly for about a year now. It is not based on my political views or media reports.
Time will tell.
All of these things are coming upon the earth and no flesh shall be saved who are not willing to undergo the pains and hardships and to help their fellow man. Many will be taken in mercy from seeing what is coming. Those He leaves unmolested by the pestilence, the sword or the fire will undergo a uniting and fulfilling of John 17 – perfect unity as He prayed with tears of blood in the Garden of Gethsamane. The whole focus will be our God is ONE – for I have a Mezzuzah above each of my entry doors to my home which He had directed me and I learned of. It is the exact center of the Old Testament – “Hear Oh Israel, the Lord our God is ONE….”
The Jew and the grafted in gentile Jew will become one in the coming persecution inasmuch as it already happened in Nazi Germany when many Christians (a/k/a incorrectly as Protestants) went into the ovens alongside them for their faith. The apostate church will be part of the persecuters of the brethren as they have become a mocker and “hybrid church” (see my article in Raising Up A Standard Apostolic on ning network) The hybrid or whore church will be part of the system and that is why the Lord said to “put no trust in a brother” and that mother-in-law against daughter-in-law, etc. and the foes will be of your own family. Here in the United States – we have now got a new bill which was sneaked in and signed on New Years Eve which will enable the government to arrest a US citizen on the mere suspicion of terrorism. Terrorism can be loosely defined and speculated upon and we do not have access to these lists. The Consitution is overlooked and this NDAA is totally illegal yet legal papers are used to implement this. When you think about it, we are so close and we need to edify and encourage one another as we see all these things coming to pass and fulfilling the scripture. The denominational names will cease and we will secede from the whore church. There is one Church and the Church will stand and raise up a standard as the enemy has and is coming in like a flood! The truth is political correctness will make there also now come about the “famine of the Word” as well as the global food crisis and oil embargos will bring about starvation. The second seal is opened (red horse) and the next is the famine. Be urgent, pray, preach the Word and lift up your heads because we are nearer to the Lord than ever before. Pray for boldness. Most well-meaning’d and mature Christians tend to quote frequently 2 Chron 7:14 “…and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive them their sins, and heal their land.”
I would never minimize the importance of such a mandate from the heart of God. That said, we neglect to connect this verse to the whole of the chapter, which speaks to the issue that once the Ark of the Covenant (The presence of God) was brought back into the Temple, Solomon (the king of the land) PRAYED, and THEN fire came down fom heaven. Not only was the Shekinah glory evident to all the priests, but the fire was so powerful that it tells us all the “sons of Israel, seeing the fire come down and the glory of the Lord upon the House, bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground and worshiped and gave praise to the Lord saying Truly He is good, truly His lovingkindness is everlasting.” (17:3)
We expect our land to be shaken in these last days. I think that’s a given. What we may not expect is that God will shake His House, as well, so that there is nothing left in it or about it except the very presence of Jesus Christ as Lord. When nothing remains but the “fire” (both cleansing and empassioning fire), THEN the people will see who the One True God is and THEN they will fall down and worship Him.
In the midst of the shaking of our lives, our world, our economy, our government, yes, even our churches, those whose hearts have been purged by the fire of God and then impassioned by that same fire will be the ones to stand in the assembly in the last days and declare the Word of the Lord, and the glory WILL fall, and men will see, and be converted. As of yet, there is not much about the gospel of Jesus in America that is worth converting to, but in the last days, the Lord’s presence will rectify such a watered down message and restore the passion of His people to speak boldly the one truth that will matter – that Jesus Christ is Lord.

God is moving in the earth for the salvation of all that can be saved. Those who are aligning under the Fathers will are going to experience a great increase in many ways. It will be a further witness to the world and especially to the apostate church who the living God really is, and whom is his remnant. Hopefully bringing more into the kingdom from the world and converts from the apostate as well.
Not judgement friends but we are living in the close out of the show and should not be testing the almighty creator God, as none of us is knowing of the day or the hour of our own departure, nor that of Jesus’ return, Amen
As we are given major increase in our lives, and ministries lets see how fast we can get along side the living God and really flow in His Spirit to build a massive army that is needed to accomplish the end time move with Him.
Clear away the wreckage of our lives not submitted to His will and live only for Him, in the Fathers will as our Lord Jesus said. Who is my mother and brother and sister but those that do the wll of my Father in heaven. He also said if we were in any way ashamed of Him, He would be ashamed of us in the presence of His Father and the holy angels.
Can we stop playing church and get into ranks and do His will? I hope so, and am in expectation of the greatness of His will coming to pass in my life and that of my local body and the greater all the way to the world.

To me there seems 2012 is a time when famous men and women of influence who were looked to as beacons of light to lead us into a new thing will be pulling back from the front line and they will promote, teach, encourage leave room for the common folk to move forward. The list of ministries, signs and wonders, impartations of the past were endless, but honestly in all the meeting and events we have attended over the years, almost nothing of what was said and taught and imparted has survived and grown. I too was touched by big name evangelists in those “fill” lines, but in truth I just fell down and nothing really changed. I am tired of going to “top up the tank” meetings. Instead there is a growing frustration for where an increasing awareness/disappointment for what has been promised and not received, through the surge of meetings and conferences of the 90s and 00s is rising to the surface and a detrmination for something different. A divine frustration is rising in 2012.Too much of 10 keys for a successful life teaching, positive living, prosperity and generally human development in a Christian cover has been preached. All good in their place, but the heart hungers for more. It hungers beyond all the self help principles. It hungers beyond the positive affirmations list, for a real supernatural life, as promised, where our words and actions mean something beyond ourselves, and our personal well being. My heart’s desire and I believe Gods heart is for us to live in a different country. To experience living in the centre His Love (John 15:9), empowered and equipped for service, for real battles with the enemy. And in teh coming year, signs and wonders will become the normal christian life as a new authority rises. But the cost of unquestioning obedience, and the physical time required in His presence for hearing his voice will be required of us as christanity 101.
Over the past few years, I believe that God has been saying :- “teach the people the difference between truth and near truth”
“prepare for the battle”
“As in the tiem of Noah”
Think them through.
A few things are impressed upon me at this time :
we must be pressing in to the Lord so that we know His voice, an intimate relationship with Him ;
days of great evil are about to unfold even more, we must hear Him and immediately obey ;
the great last harvest is here, where do You want me to serve You ;
God’s prepared people will be called out by Him to preach and demonstrate His power one more time before total control. NO DATES GIVEN, BUT SOON.
P.S. Just yesterday it was announced in New Zealand that the Food Bill is coming. Detail unknown, but basically a home gardener who gave away produce would become a criminal. Things can change very quickly.

When it comes to looking into the future, it seems that all of us struggle to arrive at a “worldview” that finds its sourse in the Heart of the Father. We tend to lock ourselves into the area of the world that is familiar to us, then we judge or seek to ascertain what the Holy Spirit is doing in the world. May not be the best way to discern what is actually happening in the activities of the Holy Spirit.
Also, is it really wise to lock the Holy Spirit into His past activities with the early church? Really?? Do we really want the problems that the early church had? I have worked with and have Pastored a number of churches and I would never want a church like the Corinthian church nor the problems at the Galatian church had.
Surely the creativity of the Holy Spirit is capable of producing a church that is clearly aware of the present day strategies of the enemy today, plus being fully aware that He is producing a Living Church that is energized by His victories Word over the enemy.
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD that continues as a creative power from the very mouth of God. God’s Word is increasingly active and powerful. We may well be living in the greatest age that the church has ever seen.
It may be wise to be sensitive to what He is doing today and allow our hearts to overflow in ceaseless praise and thanksgiving for what He is doing in our world today. Our old nature likes to look back at “the good old days” but our redeemed spirit wants to be set free into the liberty of seeing God’s hand at work, “now”.

After many years of a dry Heaven, we have new ministers who are lead and filled with God’s Spirit. Many are coming into a saving knowledge of Jesus, others are re-dedicating their lives, and others still are stepping out for Jesus. It is a joy and a privilege to go to church now. I know things are going to get hard in a lot of ways, but for the moment God is bringing His people out of darkness into His light. remember, God is the God of today.
To see any sort of revival or spiritual breakthrough, whether in one’s personal walk, which is where it should start, or in Christ’s wider body, or the world, there must first be a reverential fear of the Lord. Remembering first that which the Lord came to save us from, which is lake of fire. For no one can enter into his place of rest through his own righteousness, but only by putting on Christ and his righteousness.
We must have conviction within our hearts for the lost, who are on their way to a place they believe doesn’t exist, because the gospel that is being preached has lost its power through the diluting of God’s word, and through preachers who have lost their conviction (or never had it to begin with). We must revive that which has been lost in the preaching, and to preach the full gospel and teach the full counsel of God.

God promisses that He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh in the last days.The last days started at Penticost so these are the last days of the last days.If ever there was a time when we need to be a clean vessel walking in a separated Holy life it is now.We need to be out witnessing to the lost.Many of us are looking for breakthru for healings,Marriages restored etc.But i think it is vital that we want breathru’s for Gods Glory.Seek first the kingdom of God and His rightiousness and all these things shall be added to us.
There is a great shaking taking place because God wants to get our attention.When these things happen we are told to look up for our redemption draws near.Because thou hast kept the word of my patience i will also keep thee FROM(out of) the hour of temptation,which shall come upon all the world,to try them that dwell upon the earth.What a wonderful promiss but let us be ready.

Both Marie and Cody Stromberg said things which echo what I have sensed in my spirit for quite some time. I could be wrongm you judge it, but it is a confirmation to me. Its a global message and one which is definitely a warning to the USA, with which God has been dealing for quite some time as you know.
“Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this [shall] not [be] the same: exalt [him that is] low, and abase [him that is] high. I read all the comments, and I have to confess that I am very disapponted with what I read. Due to experiences in my past, I have a very skeptical view of prophetic. And what disturbed me in the past is showing again.
I can’t help but feeling that I am reading the same old, same old all over again. If the Andrew’s question was asked in 2007 or 2002 or 1997 or (pick a date) – who wants to bet that the same things would have been said. ‘God is doing a new thing’. ‘Turbulent times are coming’. ‘We need to move to a deeper level’. ‘A break-through is coming’. Its always the same old, same old.
Why should I believe anything that is written? We all know how much of these ‘prophecies’ come true. The general admonitions about repenting from sin and seeking Holiness are always true. But how much of what is written here besides general adomitions can really be believed???
I do believe God will be drawing His children closer to Him through the ever-increasing darkness. He will keep us through whatever is coming this year. We will trust in Him and not fear.
Jim – these things have indeed been a theme for some years. But that is the purpose of prophecy. To get us looking ahead and preparing for something.
Just because these things have been a “theme” of prophecies – does not mean they are not valid – or that we should give no heed.
Most people in 2006 would not have believed we would be in the middle of the worst downturn since the Great Depression. And yet here we are. Were the prophecies supposed to warn of such things? -Sure they were.
Please do not “despise” prophecy. This is a command from the Bible.

One thing that is common amongst most believers I have spoken with is they are hearing to follow Jesus and not men. I think many “Christians” like myself have put too much emphasis on men and what they are saying instead of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a subtle deception but we get so used to hearing the truth from man instead of the Lord our true head that we no longer have a close relationship with the Lord. I am not saying that we can’t receive truth from anointed teachers, but we need to remember that ultimately the truth comes from Jesus Christ. Also, the only way we can receive truth into our hearts is if the Holy Spirit teaches us. I keep hearing love. I am being convicted about loving others the way Jesus says we should love. The bible warnings regarding the last days that stick out more than anything is to not be led astray. Warnings about false prophets, men leading us in the wrong direction. It says that even the elect would be deceived if it were possible. Some of these men will even seem holy, preaching holiness, good works, etc, but not having true love and causing us to look so much on what is going on around us instead of what is going on within us. Again it is so subtle but didn’t Jesus even warn that many will come before him saying Lord, Lord, did we not do all these things and Jesus will say depart from me I never knew you. It doesn’t sound like these people were partying it up, having a good old time but it sounds like they didn’t have love, not true love anyway. I believe that Jesus is calling out to his people to seek a close relationship with him and to walk in love. Not the worlds definition of love but the love defined in 1 Corinthians 13. Actually Jim we are on the brink of ww3 and the news media is telling us nothing about it.
The French and Russian navies are steering each other down off the coast of Syria and the US and British fleets are opposing the Iran navy in the straits.
9000 US troops sent to Israel and preparations for an Iran take down but both Russia and China have sided with and made alliances with Iran against the west.
The economic collapse will be a small problem if the oil gets cut and the three main super powers get embroiled in a hot war with each other.
I would say things are really looking bleak at the moment.
The most astounding prophecy concerning the times in which we live and that will be truer of 2012 than it has been for any year in the past:
“For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power.”
And how will that impact Christians? A few verses on Paul says to Timothy “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”
We oftentimes miss this important comment. The prophecy does not only depict a description of the last-days apostasy, but also a chilling prediction of what will happen to the church of Jesus Christ during that time. An important element of the “shaking” will be in an increase in persecution, but it will be different type of persecution than that which we have typically seen in some third-world countries and during the Cold War. This will be a persecution coming from those described as “having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power”, that is, the apostate church. Godly men and women will increasingly be shunned, charicaturized and ridiculed as bigots for holding on to the faith as it has been delivered once for all.
The outcome? A natural polarization between the “imposters/deceivers” and “those who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus”. Can we expect a revival as a result? By all means. But it may not quite look like the revivals of previous centuries. It may be a revival of repentance, commitment, dedication and holy living, rather than one of mass rallies and cities getting saved. We may very well see the emergence of a new type of underground church as a result, one that has been cleansed by the master “for every good work.”
What a glorious privilege to be alive during a time such as this!
PROPHECY 2012: “Be still and know that I am God; for I’ll be exalted in the earth. Darkness will increase around you. But the glory of the Lord will rise upon you. Two years ago, I was in a period of fasting and prayer and the Lord spoke to me the number 12. At the time, I didn’t understand why He would give me a number and leave it at that. Then, two days later I was at work and there was a TV special on about the predictions of 2012 and the Mayan calendar. That was the first time I ever heard, of any of the 2012 stuff. It caught my eye because of the number 12. So I started researching biblical meaning and how God uses the number 12. I was amazed how many times God uses the number 12 through out the bible. Just to name a few: 12 Patriarchs, 12 tribes of Israel, twelve Apostles., twelve foundations in the heavenly Jerusalem. There are many other usages in the bible, you can research. This year will march my twelfth year since I’ve been baptized and the twelfth year of my marriage. I read where twelve signifying perfection of God’s government.
I don’t know what this year will bring, only God knows that for sure. I do know, in my heart I have this
great excitement that I can’t explain, as if my life is about to change. So I just pray for all of us, that
we’ll be obedient to God’s will and walk in His love for His Glory. In Jesus name I pray.

from what I see, the Lords church is coming out of the wilderness, soon many will be released to start bringing in the harvest. many will receive there new garments in preparation for the wedding feast, and the Sons of God may be released and the world will see the light grow as the darkness thickens.

Many of us have been going through this “shaking” for about 4 years and every year we stand in faith believing that this is the year we start to reap what we have sown. This year 2012 I believe is the year where we move from faith into manifestation of that faith. It will however require action and that action, in accordance with what you believe God has for your life at this specific time will bring forth fruit. Enjoy His favour my brothers and sisters…you have laboured and toiled long enough and He has heard you….time to experience His bountiful hand in your life.

America’s Destiny
I awoke suddenly at 3:41 a.m. hearing these words:
“I am unleashing a storm upon America greater than anything ever seen in America. Hold on! You will come through unscathed. It is for a purpose I have of cleansing the land from all unrighteousness. Then, I will build and plant when it seems impossible. You will have part in this – building and planting.
“To you I speak Face to face. What I have spoken is for GOOD not final judgement as many suppose. America has a destiny to fulfill. She is a place of refuge and safety where many can come and hide out and be safe until the end of all things as they are now.
“Never has anything like this ever been seen: a Gentile nation not destroyed completely but being preserved and coming through calamity stronger than ever before. America will not fall as the Roman Empire fell. She will repent like Nineveh did and I will stay the judgement she deserves.
“I have those I have prepared for such a time as this. You will see it in your lifetime. You will have part in this as I have said to you: October 17, 1990 May 14, 1991 March 15, 17, 1991 January 19, 1992 February 11, 1992 October 1, 2000 June 26, 2002 June 6, 2004 June 10, 2007 December 28, 2007 January 27, 2010 (12 times).

“Do not judge by appearances! Judge with right judgement. What I have spoken has never been heard of – a Gentile nation being restored in the midst of devastation. But, it will be heard of for My Glory to be seen. My doing this is the precursor to Israel being restored so people see Me fulfill My Word in all it’s fullness.”
O, Lord, ALL Your Ways are Just and True. Let it be done as You have spoken it. Your Kingdom Come! Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven! AMEN!

I believe the true remnant will come out of “Spiritual Babylon” and come back to Biblical Christianity. The line between True and Apostate will become clearer.
There is much talk these days of the Sons of God rising from the rubble of destruction in America. While that may be true, and that the latter end will be more glorious for the Lord than this side of the trials, it would be putting the cart before the horse to presume that we as a body have arrived at that place already.
Yes, there is hope for the future of America. However, this nation will not be as prosperous as it has been in the form of money and materialism. This is a good thing though, and will bring some sanity back to this nation through the natural calmities, economic calamities, and wars coming.
But there is a more serious testing coming for the saints of God. This is an individual Satanic set-up. A honing in on the weakeness of each member of the body as an attempt to cause them to stumble and fall left powerless in the depths of despair.
Many have already been through a “shaking” of sorts, but just as in the process of Sodium Vapor Glazing on a piece of pottery is applied at the end of the firing…the fire gets hotter. These fires of affliction that changes the hearts of a people seeking their God are personal temptations honed into their own weakness.
The question is “What will you sell your birthright for”. What one thing could the hordes of hell exploit to cause you to fall into sin. What one thing could these master deceivers use to bring you out from under the protective hand of God.
Corporately America has sown sin to sin and will reap the consequences of that sin. We will all see the judgments and natural consequences for doing so. But what of our own lives.
What does pressing into the heart of God mean. With all the holy sounding platitudes it simply means to root out the sin in your life. Repent of the things that hold sway over your heart. Ask the Lord to bring a cleansing to your soul. And then, ask for the courage to continue on doing His work that He placed upon you.
The power of God does not come easy or cheap.
God will not cleanse us of sin we hang onto.The Holy Spirit can only work on what we yield to.This is exactly why we are told to not grieve the holy Spirit.
The power of God is not free,we have to BUY new clothes,there is a cost we must pay.
Rev 3:18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
Too many shepherds teach that it all comes free of charge.It does not.
where there is great spiritual breakthrough – there is also a great shaking that had to come close behind, i believe…you can’t have one without the other – they work hand in hand to get Gods will done
The Money Delusion
By now, with the help of academia, the government, the bankers, and the media, we have moved beyond the “money illusion” and are presently located in the money delusion. The problem with gold as money is not that there isn’t enough of it, (Gold is infinitely divisible, so the quantity is not a problem) no, the problem from a governmental perspective is that gold has integrity. By now there is so much corruption in the system that no one seems to want integrity any more, not even where money is concerned.
Fiat or paper money is a lie. The Constitution says, “no State shall make anything but Gold and silver legal tender in payment of debt.”
Gold represents monetary truth. It is not the absolute Truth, only Jesus Christ is “The TRUTH!” Gold is the provision of God for monetary truth, and as such represents Christ in free markets. In the Greek, gold is “crusos,” and Christ is “Cristos.” The functional definition of the Greek root is “furnish what is needed.”
Where worldly economics are concerned, it is gold that is needed. Ultimately it is Christ Who is needed. He has become for us our only integrity!
Economically we have already passed the “event horizon,” and are headed for a “black hole.” Whether another “Dark Ages” or the “Second coming,” it’s not going to be pretty for quite a while.

I’ve been seeking the Lord for Revival that would result in exactly what Andrew described above, for over 40 years. In 2008 the world’s economy took a hit that it hasn’t recovered from. This has made the “fields” here in the States mighty ripe. Last December, my husband finally surrendered all of himself to the Lord our God. I’ve waited a long time for this. I believe with all my heart that this will be the year that the Remnant Church will be restored to her FIRST LOVE with all her heart, soul, mind and strength! Matthew 6:33 means what it says. God must be 1st in all things. I believe the Remnant has been being dealt with about this for years now and is finally ready for the Master’s use. We have learned, by His grace (and much suffering for many of us) the heart-wrenching Truth of Deuteronomy 8:2-5 and Matthew 4:4.
Look at the “fields” and the news. Look at the signs of the times. Let us not be found less knowledgable than the storks and the swallows, Jeremiah 8:7.
The disasters are designed to remove the smokescreen Satan has placed around everyone so that they can hear The Holy Spirit and learn the truths of Jesus that this smokescreen blocks. But it means people may need to lose everything for this to happen

The rod of chastening is coming to the church. The time of reaping what we have sown. The shaking that is coming will bring down the church built by man. Come out of her and do not share in her sins or partake of her plagues.
Charles Johnston of Belleville, Illinois, warns that mankind is approaching a great purification. He has seen specifics in what he terms three “great visions.”
He says that in those premonitions is general upheaval, a breakdown in technology, and a “global civil war” — with the dividing line the issue of abortion. Major events preceded by “rumblings” like September 11 will lift the veil and show us the real existence of good and evil.
“There will be more than a few false dawns, and people will deceive themselves during these periods that the crisis is past,” claims Johnston. “Then, sudden terror, more starkly terrifying than all that has gone on before.”

Satan has seduced many souls by filling them with an unwarranted confidence in themselves and the work of their hands. It is this self-sufficiency, maintains Johnston, this idea that we are our own gods, that will be broken down — at times unpleasantly.
Johnston also had warned long before the recent crisis that the storm would break through North Korea. “You’ll know for certain that the storm has broken in its fullness when it comes through North Korea. For almost a decade now I have shuddered with an unknown and supernatural dread at the mere mention of North Korea.”
In this decade will come the greatest financial collapse in history, the greatest war and the greatest move of God. It will be the best of times and the worst of times, for it will be the season of the double blessing, yet there will also be great judgment, apocalypse, catastrophe and sorrow. Judgment will come like the destruction of the Twin Towers; the financial system will be greatly shaken and the peace will be greatly shaken.
As America and the world begins to wash their hands of Israel, there will come a great collapse in the America dollar, the stock market and the property market. Because of a mistake in judgment by America, the wrath of the nations will come against America.
This will mark the beginning of a sudden and dramatic economic collapse that America will never fully recover from. The sphere of influence will shift from America to Europe. Economic disaster will engulf the whole world.
In this weakened state, there is coming a war between the East and the West. The Islamic and Communist nations will go to war with America and the European Economic Community. This will be World War Three. America will be caught off guard, with much of its military force overseas, in peace keeping roles.
In the end, the world will blame Israel for starting this war. The war will be a time of great preparation and sacrifice; it will either develop in us character and an excellent spirit or it will devastate us.

When you see these things come, then you understand what’s happening. It’s very important to understand that Christ does come with the sword, but He doesn’t come to punish us. “My mission is to reassure people of God’s loving presence in these things when it manifests,” he says. “I used to be scared to death of these things, but what must come, must come!”
On December 18, 2011 I heard the Lord say “turbulent times are coming, Jesus is coming soon.”
Get over revival, God is not reviving the old, He is bringing in the new.
In His Love
The Lord has shown me that this year is a year of fullfillment of His words to His people & the fullfillment of His judgments to the disobedient children… the many who heard from Him & were obedient to speak His word to the people will begin to see those very words come to pass in this year… (Isaiah 55:11) His word’s will not return to Him void.
God’s message to us is a single,one word message – LOVE.
We must seek out everything in us that is not LOVE.Don’t make excuses,don’t hide from truth.Minds must be renewed.
Don’t point fingers at others,Adam and Eve did that and look at where it got them.
No matter what the world throws at us the answer is LOVE.
“Be holy as I am holy.”
God has given me three words for this new year and they are changes, choices and challenges. He is shaking everything in us that can be shaken and wants those who are serious about wanting a close relationship with Him to know that there will be changes and we all have the choice of accepting the change or staying in our comfort zone. Along with those who will accept the change (some may be very difficult) He said there would be many challenges, but He will be there right by our side to walk us through. He is calling His people to come up higher and forsake those things right now that are taking up our time and energy. God wants to be on the throne of our lives and not the worldly things that we have placed there. We need to be as desperate for Jesus as the woman with the issue of blood or the crowd in Mathew that begged Jesus that they could just touch the hem of His garment and they would be healed. In both Scriptures the people were desperate for Jesus as man could do nothing for them. I believe God is drawing to Himself a remnant that only want Him for they have learned that the world with all its so called riches and glamor offers them nothing. We need to wake up and hear the voice of His Holy Spirit before it is too late. I believe this year is going to be unlike any other in that all will experience His shaking. As I said for those who have already surrendered to His Lordship we will be protected under the shadow of His wings. I don’t know how much more will happen before the people hear what He has to say. We need to pray for those who are weak so that they may surrender and come up higher in Him.

I do not feel we are as close to the “very end” as some of you, because I feel a number of things need to happen first.
But certainly a time of “shaking” and turmoil – hopefully producing truly good fruit as this purging does its work. We look forward to a glorious church that truly glorifies Jesus – and the return of the real Gospel in all its fulness and power.

Andrew is correct here. The opening of the seals only set the stage for the rising of the beast system.
The Apocalypse emanates from the political systems of this earth. The trumpets and bowls of wrath come from the throne of God.
The coming wars and economic collapse will come and play out and go resulting in a lot of changes to the world system. It will set the stage for the god of forces spoken of in Daniel to make its entrance.
Carter Conlan from Times Square church had a vision or dream in the early eighties of a revival that came shortly after an economic collapse. The revival lasted two years and then governments began to come against it……I believe it could be the Lord. Have been watching
world events with great interest in these days. The fulness of the Gentiles must come and also after that the call to the Jews, before Jesus returns, so we do have a little while yet….but it could well happen in our lifetime I believe!

However i truly believe that God’s saints need to know who they are, and what has been accomplished in them by Jesus.
God’s Glory is manifest in His temple when it is dedicated to Him.
Moses the tabernacle, Solomon the first temple.
I see the church, built of living stones, filled with the glory of God. The born again Spirit filled are obviously “stones” in that temple!
Our bodies are now the temple of God. if the church we in is indeed a Spirit filled walking in the Spirit church then the Glory of God is manifest in it.
The Word is preached.
Miracles of salvation and healing regularly occur, This church is in the world but separate from it,
All the gifts of the Spirit are manifest in this Church Christ is manifest in its midst, wether it be 3 or 3,000+ in number .
God has always had a remnant that fits all the these conditions? Isaiah had to be reminded of this.
I see the problem as we His people do not grasp enough of the enormity of the redemption that has occurred in us. If that is true why is it so? Is it because our ears are dull, our hearts hard ? Is it rather because we are not taught exactly who we now are?
Ezekiel blames it on the Shepherds that fed not the flock!

Do we wait for a new “glorious” church to appear at some time in the future, or do we understand and believe that in Him dwelt all the fullness of God bodily and of that fullness we have all received!
I believe that the Church through the Grace of God is what we make it. The O.T Israel and Judah are an example here, good Kings = good blessings.
The Church must have Jesus as its only King, then it is glorious. and will remain so as long as we continue to hold Him as the head.

Already a sort of sifting & shaking is separating the true from the false, the holy from the vile. True believers, in my experience & opinion, are being summoned to a deeper, closer walk with the Lord as if being readied to stand sturdier than ever before.
As with the literal, physical body, the Church will be at it’s most powerful & potent when each & every member/cell is healthy & strong. Sometimes that is accomplished by way of a great virus & sickness that builds antibodies; at other times that is accomplished by a sustained effort to build muscle.
Whatever comes, we can be certain the Lord will use it to equip His own & exalt His Name.

The reason so many “despise” prophesies is because so many are false. That’s why Paul had to exhort us to not despise them.
But are we to not question them as true?
Let us not speak as if “thus saith the Lord,” but let us reverence Him and keep quiet until we know for sure that He is speaking. It doesn’t matter what WE think – only what HE says…
It is a fearful thing to stand before the living God…
With that being said, I agree with the ones who speak of quietness before the Lord.
Let us not presume that we know what will happen in 2012. It doesn’t really matter. If we are hidden underneath the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91) it won’t matter what comes our way …

It is clear to see that there is much division still in the Body of Christ – so many different opinions and mindsets of what God is doing and is going to do.
I believe that God will use this time to humble us all and that a great shaking will come – whether in 2012 or in the years to come, I don’t know. All I know is that, according to the scriptures, and the Holy One abiding in me, God will send another shaking at some point to make a pure, holy Bride that worships no other.

To all who truly want to be FOUND IN HIM – spend quiet time in His presence – NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. Follow Him wherever He leads YOU – not where he might lead someone else. It’s BETWEEN HIM AND YOU – nothing anyone else says matters. What is He saying to YOU? Before He will speak to large numbers of people, He will speak clearly to YOU and humble YOU. Get your own heart completely right before Him. Then and only then will He be able to use you during the turbulent times to come.
Those who believe He has called them to the nations and who have not been broken painfully before Him are deceiving themselves. We are all filthy, rotten flesh before Him. Only through Him can we be cleansed and made new!
I agree with Vickie Butler, and I won’t alter her words. She said, “Where there is great spiritual breakthrough – there is also a great shaking that had to come close behind, i believe…you can’t have one without the other – they work hand in hand to get Gods will done.”
As for me, I’m completely discouraged at the lack of spiritual companionship. So few, even on here, have eyes to see what’s truly going on. So baffled and surprised, but I guess I shouldn’t be, as Jesus said “Broad is the way to distruction” and “narrow is the way to life everlasting.”

This was in response to Christians rising up in these turbulent times ahead. Where the Gospel is preached and the things of the Kingdom of God are looked after, then the miracles happen. But the presence/power of God is not cheap. It was not cheap for Paul who’s whole life is a testament to hardships. He surrendered his life for the life of Christ. Nothing less is expected from us in order for the Lord to work through us in the way many think He will in the times coming.

I believe the Lord has answered my prayer and shown me HOW WE CAN ACHIEVE THE BREAKTHROUGH INTO HIM – THAT WE ALL DESIRE.
The above titled article was written by Franklin Hall and the great Revelation of its contents has just been recently brought to my attention by the Lord, through a good brother here on JTB.
Fourteen days ago, I was in a great distress and I literally cried out to the Lord asking Him why can’t we find His Face for the Baptism & the Power of His Spirit.
Immediately, I received an email from Chris (whom I have never met before, requesting a copy of my book) but as well as requesting my book, his message to me was an insistent one that FASTING (with prayer) was the KEY to realising God’s POWER.
A few days later the Lord led me back to this email and I then took the time to read through the links that Chris gave me. And when I opened them there it was, and there was I astounded by the impact, given to me by the Lord’s Spirit, concerning this simple but obvious revelation.
That – PRAYER with FASTING (21 – 40 days) – is how the BAPTISM and the FULL ATOMIC POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT can be obtained.
For a long time now, I simply believed that after Jesus had received the Holy Spirit (the Baptism) that His being led away into the wilderness to FAST FOR 40 DAYS was just a testing and proving of Jesus character.
How wrong was I!
The overlooked clue of why the Holy Spirit led Jesus to go through this FASTING with PRAYER is shown in:
Matthew 17:19 then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
AND THEN JESUS REPLIED:
Mat.17:21. “However, this kind does not go out except by PRAYER AND FASTING”
That – PRAYER with FASTING – both obtains & supercharges the Holy Spirit’s POWER.

Yes. But the one problem is that Franklin Hall quotes Indian Medicine men and other Pagan shamen in support of his arguments.
In other words, you can get “power” seemingly whatever your religion?? Just through fasting? (Remembering that Indian gurus fast more than us all).

Yes I agree with you there on Franklin Hall’s obvious faux pas on that example in his attempt to promote the biblical principle and outcomes of fasting before the Lord. But lets not throw out the baby with the bathe water on the merits of fasting and how it obviously brings us closer to the Lord.
I thought that Tom Brown’s explanation of why fasting is so powerful was quite revealing.
If we dig a little deeper we see the likes of John G Lake championing fasting. He prayed and fasted for 9 months ( not that it will always take that long ) to win God’s favour for the receiving of the POWER and BAPTISM of the Spirit.
Wigglesworth fasted EVERY Sunday.
My point is that I do not think God is going to open heaven’s doors to our wishful thinking. Particularly in light of the importance of fasting that is seen in the Old and New Testament. And particularly in light of Jesus insight into how fasting turbo charges the POWER of the Spirit working through an individual.
Yes we can nitpic at Mr Hall’s imperfect explanation of the amazing and outstanding results from fasting or we can ponder and discern the value of what he was able to achieve by it ( with the Lord). I am also impressed by the fact that the Lord led Him to expand that side of his ministry
I also had a personal experience in 1994 – of the Lord impressing upon me to fast for 7 days – I only sensed that my family was in great danger – and I gladly obeyed Him. That fast proved to be a great blessing.
I believe there is a great POWER principle in fasting – and that the Lord is bringing it to our attention.
I would be very interested to hear what the Lord is saying to everyone concerning this.

We must not get carried away by what the Satanic Occultits practice and teach. Satan may have promoted this in his followers as an obvious mocking of God or maybe they do receive extra Satanic power by fasting. I do not know.
But what I do know is that virtually every miracle evangelist of the 20th Century practiced it often – in shelling the enemy – and winning the Spiritual ground before plundering it.
And what I also know (now) is that in times of distess Israel was called to fast (often). And that the apostles fasted relentlessly – and that Jesus was called to fast for 40 days. I dont think we can ignore the Word of God on this one.

There are no formulas in the Bible. Do this and you’ll get whatever, would only turn God into an earthly parent who usually operates that way. “Clean up your room and you’ll get a cookie.” Jesus said: “This one (THIS particular one), only comes out by prayer and fasting.” This was not a general formula!
Yes, fasting is OBVIOUSLY something we should do because Jesus suggests it and so did the disciples. However, do NOT expect to move God’s hand as they used to say. We do not move God’s hand! GOD IS SOVEREIGN! If He so desires you may see a result or answer to your prayer, sometimes even immediately, but don’t bank on it. Some results will be received in Heaven.
The main purpose of fasting is not so much to achieve an outward result but rather to transform the inner man while he is fasting.
The modern, false Gospel, teaches that God is solely in the business of blessing us with whatever we ask for. “God will give you heaven on earth if you do this ‘n that.” Pray and fast and God will…
How about we do the 40 days of purpose and then God will…
Or, let’s pray the prayer of Jabez over and over and then God will…
Fast for 10 days and then God will…
We must be very careful that fasting is done for the right reasons.

According to statistics, 80-90% of people who made a commitment to Christ after a while become disillusioned and fall away. Interestingly, it has nothing to do with a lack of follow-up as was suspected in the early 90s.

What of the year ahead…
The past two years or so have been quite difficult, with many, many attacks of the enemy. Like never before I am realizing that our battle is in deed a spiritual one.
Yes, I have decided (hopefully prompted by the Holy Spirit), to fast and seek His face.
My sense is that it is “crunch-time”. He is allowing the enemy to press us hard so that we will press into Jesus even harder.
I sense that in this coming year the message of repentance will be preached by a new breed of JohnTheBaptists. The Holy Spirit is turning up the heat to burn away any compromising attitude that might be left in those who are called as radical followers of Jesus. Compromise is often born of a fear of man or fear of failure.
Faith, TRUE FAITH as a result of a total surrender and focus on Jesus, will be the catalyst for a powerful walk and testimony. As the world is crumbling, the anti christ is being prepared to show up as the saviour of the world. Meanwhile God will pour out His Spirit… to save many!

I must have been having one of my “Duh” moments when I let my last comment. As a friend has pointed out to me there is no mention of “repentance” in this howbeit warm and fuzzy video. It does bash “religion” which is good, but it is lacking, and plays into the end time type “church” out there today, the likes of Rick Warren and others…
