   Hi everyone,

   I just recently joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I am happily married and have been blessed with 6 wonderful children. We recently moved to Houston, Texas from California and have been a part of the prophetic movement through attending various Vineyard churches as well as a para church ministry that had Paul Cain and John Paul Jackson on its board of directors. I've been contemplating a lot of different issues in the current charismatic/"third wave" movement, most of which are discussed on this forum.

   I wanted to bring up a recent development - the Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival. Has anyone been to or seen any footage from this latest "revival" headed by John Kilpatrick?

   Your inquiry is very interesting. I came to this site with the very same question. I am actually watching a video of a John Kilpatrick interview by Sid Roth at http://www.sidroth.org/site/News2?abbr=tv_&page=NewsArticle&id=9608&security=1041&news_iv_ctrl=1141

   This is coming out of the Brownsville/Toronto stream so of course I am questioning it.

   Any comments from others?

   the 2nd link begins like this : "Lightning has struck twice ..."

   not saying that John Kilpatrick is the false prophet , just that he is part of the show machine.

   when millions of Christians run to go to one place which has much adverstising that means that Christianity is sick.

   The kindom of God is inside the hearts of the disciples , it is not thousands of miles away from where one stands.

   "in the sight of men" is very telling to me...

   Hi debonnaire - I appreciate your comment. Just to clarify, have you attended any of the meetings or watched them online? What is the spirit on display - is there repentance and holiness preaching, healings and miracles, or is there a lot of hype, ungodly fundraising and kundalini manifestations?

   I was not aware that there had been a lot of advertising for these events. I heard about it for the first time today after reading the article on charisma online.

   Steven before you post anymore - Please do go to the home page on this webb site and watch the three videos on the Kundalini spirit some showing Brownsville and also John killpatrick lost all discernment when he became involved with Todd Bentleys Comissioning as an Apostle - its on the videos. He stood on the stage as these kundalini spirits were being displaided and said nothing!

   I have to warn the sheep here - please do not follow after any of these men.

   First started on July 23, “Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival” is somewhat of a continuation of the well-known Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Fla., which was also led by Kilpatrick, along with evangelist Steve Hill, during the late 1990s.

   Kilptrick has been staging this for years. I've been observing him since 2005. He needs to repent of much.

   I am going to add something here.

   DO NOT

   miss what the Almighty is doing in Mobile. There is most certainly something going on "under the radar." Right now there is a serious work of His Spirit going on between Mobile, Liverpool England, and the continent of Africa.

   I would like to seriously encourage everyone to pray that The Almighty would guard this area with a jealous fire.

   I have been praying for years that The Almighty would put an end to Mardi Gras in Mobile as a sign of his authentic work in the peoples hearts. This prayer was first spawned by some dreams I had in 2005.

   Hi Lynn,

   Yes, I have been to the homepage and watched all the kundalini videos and no, I do not follow after these men. I realize John Kilpatrick was part of that "stream", just wondering if there was any change of heart or whether it was more of the same. If I recall, Derek Prince was in error at one point too with the shepherding movement but repented. Isn't that the whole point of Andrew's calling as of late, to warn and bring about repentance to as many of the elect as possible? I believe a good portion of these men and women are sincere God-loving brothers and sisters who are in error and would not knowingly operate in falsehood. Like anything else though, comprehending an error does not always happen overnight but is usually a process.

   Steven these men to my knowledge have never repented - and some are bringing Todd Bently back into the forefront of ministry mostly to young adults right now - just after he divoriced his wife and married his mistress he was having an afair with while Lakeland was going on and claimed to be revival - I do not think you understand the magatuude of - DAMAGE DONE TO CHRISTS SHEEP - and how many need deliverance from these evil spirits

   All who have this Kundalini spirit are dangerous to the body of Christ - they need repentance and to renounce much and to be delievered of the evil spirits they walk in.

   I can not in good conscience support any of these men.

    You are a moderator here - could you please not jump to conclusions? I am not supporting these men and I have not asked anybody to support these men! All I wanted to know is if anyone had attended or witnessed clips of this "revival" and whether or not it is more of the same. Now I remember why I don't usually post on forums.... God bless.

    Steven, not being hard her - just very caucious - Has this "revival" already taken place - did you witness it Steve? or just the clips? Do you agree with me these people need to repent and receive deliverance - do you believe they are safe for the body of Christ? Do you believe Public Repentance would be the healing balm that might just help restore and heal some of those who were so wounded?

    Not posting on forums because one resists the leadership of these people who have done so much damaged the body of Christ - I am sorry I made you feel that way - well perhaps if you thought I thought you were supporting these people which in all honesty I did question that.

    Not sure what you mean by 'Has this "revival" already taken place? According to the article, it started sometime in July. I have not personally witnessed it and I haven't had time to watch the clips yet; only the Charisma article. I absolutely agree that those who impart the kundalini spirit are in error and need to repent. Upon researching the "revival" further, it looks to be the next big thing with a very well-publicised healing of a paralysed pastor, Delia Knox. Doubtless thousands worldwide will be drawn to it so I thought it pertinent to bring it up. If we think it is also a false revival then we owe it to the "sheep" to know the facts about it so we can refute it soundly. We can assume it's just another Brownsville, but I think our arguments would appear hollow to the deceived if we simply assume without knowing for sure.

    Kilpatrick certainly knows how to "hype" revivals - especially using Charisma and other media.

    But I am not sure if this one is so big on "Kundalini". Mostly some pretty normal healing services, it seems. However Kilpatrick is certainly from that "stream" and has never repented of that "anointing" that I know of.

    I appreciate the response Andrew. So would this "revival" be considered false based solely on John Kilpatrick's lack of repentance over the Kundalini anointing or are there other issues to watch out for? How do we speak to the apparently legitimate healings/miracles? Thanks.

    How long ago was this?

    I know you said you moved from California - were you part of the very first Vineyard in California?

    Did you see the error in these ministries?

    Not picking on you just trying to get a feel of where you are coming from and what you see today.
