Grey, I can relate too, we cant accomplish anything without Him, thats a true fact:))) isnt in wonderful to know that In Christ we can do all things in CHRIST, if we would just be that holy vessel The Lord desires to have and to move in:)

Loved your post.
There is no capacity for truth. There is all this love, love, love, mushy, huggy, spineless, truthless, crossless love of Jesus. It is love without the cross and the blood of Jesus Christ. IT IS MARKED ULTIMATELY BY THE LOVE OF SELF.
You cannot be marked by the blood without truth in the "INWARD PARTS". We have NO LOYALTY TO JESUS without this "TRUTH" IN OUR "INWARD" PARTS. We all need God to expose the subtle hypocrisy, guile, pride and all the other subtle junk in our lives. The deep down motives of self in our hearts that seem to escape our attention over the years. They are easy to push back into the closet and shut the door in the very most inner recesses of our hearts. We have learned to live in denial. The cross exposes this kind of self.
The loyalty to Jesus you talk about, the perspective you bring to it, I appreciate. It touches a deep aspect of our walk. ETERNAL LIFE , I am realizing, IS BEING CONFORMED TO HIS IMAGE. The loyalty to Jesus exposes the whole fear of people, people pleasing, people sin tolerance, the fear of being offensive, of being rejected.
The end time people of God who live out of the cross, who are marked by the blood, who love their lives not unto the death, who are bold to stand up in the face of adversity and declare the word of God, the "LIVING WORD OF GOD", THESE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN PURGED TO THE VERY CORE OF THEIR BEING OF THIS " SELF" LOVE THAT DENIES JESUS CHRIST.
I suspect everyone of us on this forum has some aspect, some greater some lesser, of this "self protecting love" that DENIES JESUS CHRIST.
Have to go, hopefully I can come back to this. I would like to re read what you said Sheepkinz. You are hitting on a truth I have been seeing for some time. I don't have time to express what I am sensing and feeling and seeing.
