Amen, it's not enough to know or say or even to do, we need to 'become', otherwise we're still knowing and saying and doing all the right things but with a wrong spirit. Jesus didn't die so that we could just carry on doing what the Israelites were already doing under the Law, He died to make us a gift of Himself. Just like Adam and Eve in the garden when they were clothed with the skin of an animal that was sacrificed. Oh Lord, help us to put off that old man and to put on Christ, so that He can live through us, so that He didn't die in vain!

That really stood out to me, too Watchful. It truly is not about what we are doing or not doing , but who we are becoming, who am I, who are you, who are we be coming? Are we becoming in the image of Christ! This was very good, because we need to be reflecting Jesus as He talked of...the emphasis that people place on the doing instead of truly desiring to be something , to become Christ like,which is is to be clothed in Christ!!!
In TRUE Relationship and Intimacy with the Father, Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.I thought about the disciples they sat at his feet learning from Him, following Him, becoming more like Him. They were in the presence of Jesus. They had fellowship with one another. They supped together,Just as Jesus desires to come and sup with us:)

Matthew 5

20“For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
