   If you have a read through the read you will realize that others have noted a genuine move and also identified this counterfeit.

   The terms we use can also help or confuse the issue. Being lost in God, His glory, love and majesty and filled with joy is NOT the experience we are discussing.
   As I noted earlier drunkenness is a judgement not a blessing, saying what you experienced was drunkenness is misleading, as you noted the experiences were different as was the fruit of them. I'm glad you were able to discern and reject the false... unfortunately many don't.

   Hi, i had been to a church which had connections with toronto and laterly lakeland. I left that church. I was confused about what was of God and what wasnt. Getting fed up with the confussion i cried to God to clear it up. I read in smith wigglesworths daily devotional words to the effect that something can start in the Spirit but then people carry on in the flesh. This is when it becomes soulish, selfish and ultimately false. This helped me alot. Its learning to be led by the Holy Spirit, learning to stop when He stops.

   Sometimes the discussion of such subjects helps bring clarity to those that have been in a place of confussion. It helps them to have a greater and clearer understanding of what is truth and what is not truth. Papa Yahawah is revealing to His children the true and exposing the fale in the body of Messiah. The harlot church will be brought down and if she does not repent then all of those that follow after those things found to be false in her will fall with her. Those children that have walked in any of the churches that teach and practise false signs and wonders must repent for following after that which was never of Yah and be fully restored to Him. We must come out of the harlot church completely.

   For the most part, people on this forum are willing to discuss their stories, their growth and their exposure to ministries that are and are not of the Lord.

   I will advice though, that others might be "knocking those" that have been "drunk in the spirit" having been exposed to the wrong doctrine AND AT THE TIME, being "new" to these ministries, did follow what the Pastor and others were doing, allowing "laying on of hands" and getting involved in THINKING that it was correct. Not everybody knows the difference, and yet their hearts are completely sold out to the Lord, Jesus Christ, but they truly do not know the difference because they never were exposed to it before. Maybe they came from a different background or are new to a church .

   So, let's be mindful of those that are reading this, Teaching is one thing, and being critical is another.

   By the way, I am one that sought our Lord Jesus Christ. I was involved in these "ministries" not because I knew it was wrong but because I wanted the Lord and didn't know better.

   My eyes were veiled and as things just didn't seem right, after a while, I pleaded that the Lord open my eyes UNTO HIM. Reveal HIS TRUTHS not falseness. I was taken into many groups and ministries , some because I followed the wrong people, others because He led me as I learned.

   Now several years later, having more decerment under my belt I see things totally different.

   Even slang words like Papa God, or Papa Yehway is slang from false prophets like Bob Jones and James Goll and even John Crowder. So we really need to be careful and seek our HOLY, Eternal FATHER and not reduce HIM to today's lingo.

   Many of us that read this forum might not understand as much as others that write on this forum all the time. So please be gentle but truthful. In that you might win some souls that might truly start searching the Lord Jesus Christ or at least question what involvement they have been in or are in. We need to respect others and what they might be experiencing or have experienced. The main thing is that they receive HIS TRUTH and get out of deception.

   May Christ show in all our hearts.

   Thanks Nicole.
   My heart goes out to all those who are looking to false teachers to bring the closer to God. Sometimes we do learn through trial and error, sometimes, like William said, when you experience the true presence of God, the counterfeit becomes obvious.

   No one should feel "witch-hunted" for being deceived, I do wonder though how many are still hungering for the truth and reality of God that lead you out of this falsehood, or do they think they have "arrived" spiritually?
   I pray that they would not be satisfied with cheap imitations, but instead stirred to cry out to God for His blessings, closeness and freedom. Only He can truely satisfy the hunger of their hearts.

   From what I witnessed and left, as I saw HIS TRUTH, the people that we left, the groups, the churches, the bible studies etc.etc.

   These people truly , truly had /has a hunger for the Lord Jesus Christ. Not all but many. The problem is --- they are clinging and hanging on every word of those around them and believing them vs. what Jesus says. Many take a scripture and maybe not even twist it or turn it, but they remain on that one scripture and forget all the rest. Or they take certain scriptures to benifit what they want to impose on the groups, concregants. etc.etc.

   I wish I could say that it was just a certain type of person, but I can't. Though I tried to tell others of this deception I was denied as they followed what they believed the truth that was spoken by false prophets and even overlooked their faults or unrepented pasts, making excuses or saying "Ah you should have been at this , it was so good"

   When asked what was so good about it, they would tell you , the anointing was so heavy, was so there, Jesus came to the multitudes in this conference. ---------they believed it.

   People are falling into deception for wanting and asking for "double anointings" using Elijah and Elisha text. Benny Hinn talks about Katherine Kulman and having a key to her place of burial and having touched her bones for her anointing. This is in his unedited videos and a couple of his books. Others have followed suit w/ the double mantel and Joel's Army, to women or bride of Jesus wearing combat boots and other things. People of all ages , not just the young, or the new convert, but those that have been wanting Revival so much that they throw out common sense and hang on to "this is it" type of things. Older people that have been in ministry work for decades and are now in their 70's are wanting to see Revival before they pass on and so they are going to these places and are being deceived. Of coarse this is not the only reason , but one has to be careful because no one truly knows for sure that there will be another revival. We hope, but it will be on God's terms, not mans, and it will be when HE CHOOSES not man . And we might all be surprised at "how it looks" Though I am sure, there will be lots of repentance and lots of crying out to the Lord as many will see HIS TRUTHS instead of what they had been taught or preceived. ---------

   Being "slain " by these people have brought them further into deception w/ others thinking NOT THE LORD's Thinking.
