Oregon looks like a beautiful place. In places it is a lot like my country [ New Zealand] with its rugged coastline, pine forests and lakes. Your state has just about the same population as our country [ I think] as well.Posted 8 months ago # -
Thank you for the welcome! It is beautiful in Oregon and has just about every type of weather/terrain anyone would want, from desert to ocean, mountains to lush valleys. We are in a drier climate with hot summers and mild winters. We have lived in California (born and raised) and once married, moved to Washington State, Alaska and now Oregon. I have an Aunt by marriage from New Zealand. The pictures I have seen of her home town is beautiful and coastal, sorry not sure where it is.

Hi...I live in Rangiora, about 20 mins north or Christchurch New Zealand. I live with my husband, and since the earthquakes my third son (have four) and his partner and grandson. My parents, and other three sons and their families are quite close too. Apart from the quakes its a lovely place to live, and that situation is improving slowly. Nice to know where you all come from
