Hi denishield, welcome and God Bless, Lynn
Hello, Glad to register and come on board with other christians who seek after God's own heart.
My name is Stephanie. For those who have never heard from me before, I am a Voice of the Martyrs representative in CT. For two years now I have been a voice for the voiceless, persecuted christians worldwide. Though God has used their voices to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, the world has tried to silence them, although they cannot keep silent. We can learn much from these tried and true brothers and sisters in Christ. I am proud to be part of an christian organization that follows the message of Jesus and the cross..With persecution as a direct result of it. If the Gospel of Jesus is truly being sent into the world, persecution WILL follow. If we are being bold for Jesus as we proclaim, we must ask ourselves if it has cost us anything.....
Hebrews 13:3 says to " Remember those in bonds as if you were bound with them and those that suffer as if you, yourselves were suffering."
I have been trained by VOM as volunteer to the ministry. I do not get paid and none of the other reps do either. It is strictly a volunteer basis, which I am so glad to partake in that. It's nice to see all donations and monies go directly to the persecuted church: to help free them from prisons, give aid to families of christian martyrs and so on..I try to get local christians to write to prisoners to help encourage them. I have my local church fill action packs to send to families of martyrs. We have Sudan: Blankets and a Bible ministry, and many other ministries within the overrall ministry of VOM.
I like to reach out and speak to local churches, schools, camps, public events, christian bookstores, conferences and exhibits, and any opportunities God brings my way. I do book out in advance, sometimes months in advance if necessary.
I love to attend a local community prayer time for the persecuted church where we have this special time just for the persecuted.
This may be long, but on a different note, I love to dance for the Lord Jesus and have been trained in modern dance for years of my life. I often share the gift of dance God has Given to help edify and minister to the body. I love to choreograph the moves as God gives them to me in prayer and quiet time alone with him. I have recently had opportunity to minister in NY Times square with Project Dance 2010 to help spread Jesus through dance, 2 weeks prior to the attempted terrorist attack there. (I would even love to think that the spiritual atmosphere from the event might have had something to do with the failing of the attempt. I hoped to believe so.)
I would love to get to know you guys as well, please tell me more about you.
God bless you for the labor you are faithful in doing-
Stephanie

Stephanie, What a wonderful ministry you are involved in, May th Lord Bless all your efforts, may the Lord pave the road before you and open the doors that need to be open.
I believe the Lord has shown me we will reap what we have sown. Persecution is coming in a way we have never expieranced before, this I know, and I believe we first need to live a life on our knees, fellowshiping with our Lord, WE HAVE TO PERSONALLY KNOW HIM if we are to survive the coming persecution in the not so far away future and second we are to take care of the orphans widows, poor and persecuted, If we are to expect God's protective provision, now and the days ahead, in our relationship with him, KNOWING HIM AND ON THAT KNOWLEDGE BUILDING AN UNSHAKBLE FAITH we WILL KNOW HIS HEART and begin to reach out to others in great need and will know without a doubt HE WILL MEET OUR DAILY NEEDS, HE IS STILL JEHOVAH JIRAH, the God who meets our need, he changes not he is the same yesterday, today and forever.
It is in this faith we can persevere and overcome no matter what the outcome.
I look forward to your keeping us updated and your posts, might even start just ONE ONGOING THREAD ON THE PRAYER NEEDS OF AN INDIVIDUAL and as the Holy Spirit leads we can join in and pray. A Thread open for daily prayers for the persecuted you bring forward to us for prayer if you like.
God Bless and Welcome, lynn
Hey folks - for all who know me - it's Gramma from the old R.S. forum. For the life of me (I tried and tried) I could not get a password from my original registration to my email address, so I just registered Gramma in my original language...hence Nokamis (means gramma).
It is just a joy to be here with you all! The site looks great Andrew, and Lynn I am just blessed to see you here moderating again.
Love and Blessings in Christ,
Gramma (aka Nokamis)
Thank you Gramma, it is so good to see you here. I look forward too your posting, welcome and God Bless, Lynn
Hello Everyone! I got chills reading the introductions! I did not realize how desperately I needed to connect with likeminded people who share the same Spirit. My dad pointed me to this site, since I am alone in a spiritual wasteland. I currently reside in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (Naval Station). I am here with my husband and two daughters, ages 3 and 5. I am homeschooling them and will continue to do so wherever we go. I am devoted to God and the reading and keeping of His Word and to my family. I was born again five years ago this August - the evidence of this being fully undeniable, yet unbelievable to those who no longer believe in the scripture in Acts. I am excited to read along with you all and to share and receive insight, understanding, support, and love. Thank you and Blessings to our God who has brought us together.
Hi all,
I was gospelman - and posted a few times - on the old forum.
Based in the UK and a Christian for 25 years.
I run a few Christian websites; my main interest is evangelism.
