WARNING - SEPTEMBER 3RD - WEST COAST USA??

Dear Friends, please weigh this, but further to my post in "the shaking is growing" and the dream I was forwarded by a friend A from another friend S, I believe the prediction may well be accurate. I have prayed further about the "calm before the storm" feeling and this has transpired. Yesterday I was praying for Israel and God led me to Psalm 83 - which turned to be "a prayer to frustrate conspiracy against Israel". Verse 15 struck me in particular: "so pursue them with your tempest, and frighten them with your storm". I also had the word "tsunami" in my mind, but didn't know whether it was God. Tonight I felt really restless, couldn't sleep, it is nearly 3am, so I went to Youtube and to my astonishment found a prophecy (by weatherbill) of an earthquake and tsunami to hit the West Coast of America on SEPTEMBER 3RD 2010 - IN A FEW DAYS TIME. I spoke to my prayer partner yesterday and she also has had this "calm before the storm" feeling. If I am wrong and being over-alarmist, please forgive me, but it wouldn't hurt any of you on the coast to take a hike inland for a few days. I will say that I have been told personally by someone un-named, something very VERY close to this. The exact day wasn't given, just "September".

They were pretty specific that it was "the gay part of California". I take that to mean San Fransisco. LA seems suspect too.

To those true Christians in the area there... I hope God's will be done for them. If they get to "go Home" I'd be pretty glad for them really. If that makes sense.

Yes, he is sharing the gospel on the video and on the website and warning people to get right with God and put their trust in Christ.... I have read more details on the website. The Japan blog gives various prophecies from people, one states that a quake in the Japan area will cause a tsunami towards the West USA coast as a warning sign that people need to move.

One has to be really very careful when making these statements.

I was in Portland, Oregon when a "word" came to a person that an earthquake would take place on a certain day in May, I think it was the 23rd.

This person contacted the churches expressing his "feeling" and eventually was invited to give his views on the local Christian radio station. This earthquake was supposed to be God's judgment on the wickedness of Portland, Or., which is culturally similar to San Francisco.

It was like wildfire, calls started coming in from churches and from individuals from many different States. They all confirmed they also felt there was going to be an earthquake on May 23rd.

Some people even sold their homes, many left town.

I personally received a call from the Womens Intercessor prayer group at First AOG Honolulu stating while in prayer they had confirmation that there was going to be an earthquake on May 23.

And in addition to all this, Portland proclaimed May to be a citywide earthquake awareness month. They have many tall buildings that are not earthquake proofed and the idea was for people to map routes of exit in case of an earthquake.

There was no earthquake!

Many of Portland's Pastors held a meeting to discuss the damage, the loss of credibility, and most of all, how could this happen?

One of their findings was this: A genuine Prophet is not going to say, "this is what the Lord told me, you pray and see what the Lord tells you." A genuine Prophet is going to tell you "thus saith the Lord" and not ask your opinion; a genuine Prophet does not look for mans confirmation. If they are not willing to give a definite "thus saith the Lord," then we are under no obligation to believe them.

A "word" that says "I have a feeling" is no word at all, and it makes no difference how many have similar "feelings".

I was there, I knew the people involved, I saw it all firsthand.

No one has every predicted an exact date of any natural disaster. If this were to come true, would you then believe in Jesus Christ?

How many of these 2212 voters would leave thinking this guy doesn't have any truth if this does not happen therefore his Jesus is not real. This is just the kind of thing that makes christians look bad.

This guy saiys there is going to be a disaster and then goes on and takes a survey.

I agree a true prophet of God would not guess nor take a survey.

I'm not sure about this one. Now, I do believe that California could very well be wiped off the map at one point! It wouldn't surprise me one bit. But setting a specific date has never sat well with me, and I also agree with Lynn that the "casting lots" that this particular man is doing doesn't seem right. It may have been an accepted Old Testament practice, but demonic activity and deception are extremely high at the moment, and I personally would not trust something like that right now! It would be very easy to counterfeit!

Furthermore, I did a little digging through one of Weatherbill's blogs here: http://weatherbilltourupdate.blogspot.com/

As you can see, he predicted that first a tsunami would hit California on August 9-10, and then September 3 would be the date of the mega quake. He has since retracted that, and apologized for it, but he still had it out there, and it didn't come to pass. Which brings the September 3 date into question as well.

Anyway, just thought I'd pass that on in case you missed it!

In 2006 I received an email of Brother Michael Boldea Jr, from Romania, who just had received an astonishing dream/vision concerning a GREAT earthquake in California. While I was reading his experience and what God revealed to him, I prayed for a conformation and immediately I felt the earth rumbling and shaking below me. Earthquakes in Ontario, Canada are very unusual, but we have felt distance earthquakes over the years, since we live on a fault.

I have posted this on my Blog shortly after, but NO date was set for this earthquake in California to happen. In one of the comments you will read of another confirmation at the same date I did receive it. The link is below:

Thank you all for your postings. I feel I must learn a lesson here and do my research more thoroughly and be more prayerful before posting. I did not read the disclaimer, you have pointed out things I had not fully taken on board - I am sorry - thanks; I will try to be much wiser in future.

May I just clarify please Jim, that I have correctly understood you: you said:

I assume, Jim, you are referring to "Weatherbill's" methods here. After the horrors of the Toronto Deception and the fear that was instilled in people by implying that they could not question the revelation as it was supposedly speaking against the Holy Spirit and the fear, control and bondage that that led to, I am very, very loathe to say anything in God's name without a proviso to appeal to others to please weigh and test, as it seems to me that the scripture says test all things, and if people had done that, it might have been a different scenario. Also the practice of the Bereans who checked what they were told with the scriptures was commended. Personally I am always wary of movements or individuals who object to their revelations being tested as scripture commands; to me that would be a warning sign to dig a bit deeper. I would not want to box people in or try to control them with with a "thus says the Lord"; it is an awesome responsibility to speak in His name, so I always make a proviso even if I think I (or someone else) may be right.

I am also very aware that I am in the UK and not living in the West coast of N America as some of you are. I certainly do not want to be a tool in the hand of the enemy to cause disruption and maybe even hindrance to the purposes of God and his people in that area by supporting false predictions - God forbid! I have been asking myself how I would feel if I were in your shoes. However, as I said in another thread, genuine warnings from God, albeit painful and traumatic at the time, have done me good like medicine and in time I have come to appreciate the seemingly hard words or dealings of God; the Kundalini warning turned me upside down for a few weeks but has set me free. Being a watchperson is a HUGE responsibility; I get concerned that I might fail God or the people He may want me to speak to and not speak out as I should and that may mean taking risks. I have much to learn; thank you for your wise counsel - keep it coming.

One of the major problems is that people have become mystical but think they're prophetic. A genuine Prophet will never ask for mans confirmation, they have received a word from the Lord and they know it.

Most of this stuff floating around is not prophetic at all, it is people who have become mystical in their thinking, they see with heir feelings, and it has no meaning at all.

We need to be very careful when making statements about the Lord bringing destruction on a certain city. There is a day of destruction coming for the entire world and we need to prepare ourselves and others to meet the Lord.

Jim is right in saying that a true prophet will not be asking for the confirmation of the people. A true prophet will just tell and move on, letting the chips fall where they may. The testing is up to the hearer.

Most prophetic words are all from the feelings and minds of the people. True prophetic words are rare today in the west, at least from what most of us hear.

Good post, lots of great info too!

For the record.. well.. I can say who I heard something about this from (they have no interest in any way about this at all), but they are under 18 years of age. It's a little gray to me, in that part.

"San Fransisco" came to mind when the lad said this, it wasn't his words. He was a tad shaken, not too bad though.

The child has been very accurate thus far, we never share much with anyone unless it's specific to a person.

These things (apart from reading stuff on the web) is kinda new to me (and the boy too!). Any good SCRIPTURAL information about Confirming, Testing, or other thing in this area would be helpful, if anyone has any. (TIA!)
